I notice all quit smoking apps show the same effects like, blood pressure goes down, smel and taste gets better but never really things i want to see and feel so i might keep the not smoking up for a change. Just like they all say you can not keep it up with just willpower, i suddenly felt like that is marketing to let you buy the app, but all in all you have to do it on your own and get through the cravings. Sometimes with support but during a craving apps and all donnot helpt, only thing that helps it trying to fight it and keep waiting until the store is closed so i can not buy them anymore for the night.
Anyhow, visible signs after 5 days no smoke: - my back hump seems to dissappear - my fingers and legs are thinner ( i hold less water in my body) - my hands feel softer and have less wrinkles - my lips turn from blue to red and look more plump, also the lines above look less deep - the white in my eyes seems whiter - my face skin gets more color and feels softer( although after nights of no sleep it is not perfect yet) - my teeth feel softer and it looks like my mounth or tongue is less swollen🤔 - my voice sounds better, i lost it all the time and had to cough a lot) -my hair is softer and starts to shine. - my nose opens up, breathing is so much more easy. - nails get more white - teeth are a bit more white( cleaned them with baking soda)
Which visable effects do you see that are never written in apps but fun to know so we all can see the difference? They say we must get to look 10 years younger after 2 months or so, is that true?
Also the trouble i have after quitting: - a lot of irritation in my mind, i hate everyone and everything - restless legs, but also a weird feeling in my jaw and arm. I have to move and can't sleep due these symptoms - tired - no sleep - no bowel movement, means big belly - no concentration - wild emotions from happy to crying to being pissed off and so on

Ive started accutane 20mg 6 days ago. Im a 18 year old guy and even though I do have worse than average acne, im not that insecure about it. Since i am deep into health and value that over my appearance, I was wondering if Accutane is actually a good decision for me, considering I had severe back pain just a few days ago, which really Alarme me that isotretinoin might permanently fuck with my liver and other things permanently related to My health. Pls lmk if you guys been in a similar dillema.

2025.01.24 21:21 DubGrips Mad Rock D2.One Initial Review
I tried the Drone CS and ultimately did not enjoy it a ton. While the toebox softened up it felt really insensitive compared to my Scarpa shoes and the overall shoe felt a bit clunky to me. Stiff and didn't soften much, but the toe rubber seemed to deform on edges. I mostly climb on boards and outside, so this was a big detractor. I was interested in the D2.One since it would be stiffer in theory and maybe less clunky as the rubber on the side and top of the shoe is now thinner.
My ideal outcome for this shoe is to have 1 shoe that is a bit cheaper that would take the place of 2 shoes in my quiver so I can haul less shit with me. Mad Rock does a lot for local community building in SoCal and of the smaller brands I'd rather support them over UP despite their cringe social media focus.
Sizing: I am a street shoe 10 and wear my Instincts in 42/42.5. I got the HV in a 10 and would absolutely not want a 9.5. The shoe is stiff enough to where although I could fit a 9.5 I wouldn't be able to articulate my foot/toes at all. Interestingly the shoe is marked as EU 43. My Scarpa approach shoes are an EU 44 and all of my normal street shoes are an EU 44. I have low volume feet and the shoe fits great I cannot imagine who would need even lower volume honestly.
Pros:
- They fit me extremely well. I normally wear Scarpa Instinct VSW and Instinct S. I also own the VSR LV and Boostic. and I would say these and the Boostic fit me the best, VSW next.
- Very comfortable. The upper is super soft and the single piece toebox is designed to let the outer portion of the shoe flex outwards to create some width. This is probably why the fit works for so many people.
- Quick break in. Softened up a bit almost immediately.
- Still insensitive and imprecise feeling. These almost remind me of the new red Five Ten Dragon lace that came out in like 2020. I have some Decoy feet on my board that are basically a nice rounded incut spike. You can usually feel the spike and pull on it real nice, even in my fairly stiff Instinct Lace. Not on these. Its shocking to me how bad it is. I blame the single piece toebox and believe it is a completely subpar design. You need thinner rand rubber at the front of the shoe and a separate forefoot to get the toe closer to the wall/rock, but also because they will flex differently. This is why almost every company uses different rand/sole rubber.
- Ok, the toe hook rubber is super generous, but the construction of the sole is such that it doesn't flex upwards that easily. Imagine a toehook where you flex your toes up and place the hook touching your toe knuckles. Definitely the worst for that of my current shoes. I could see it being cool for scumming and very deep toehooks and people rave about this feature, but to me it seems one sided.
- For me the heel is weird. It sits fairly low and the rubber seems soft on the spine. I don't have issues with heel hooks in what I wear now and have never felt I needed the spine.
- The toe shape is weird. The shoe is fairly asymmetric, but its got almost a blunted shape. IMO the purpose of such an asymmetric toebox is to have a very precise toe, but this toebox is shaped so that I think it would perform quite poorly on pockets and it doesn't feel great on the incut jibs on my wall.
- Branding. Honestly at the end of the day I don't want to support a company that gives an influencer like Rockentry a custom shoe and is promoted by Steven Dimmit and Emil. This is totally personal and an obvious marketing tactic that makes sense

2025.01.24 21:21 Elegant_Armadillo427 Dog ate something; having neurological effects
Hello all. This morning my 5 month old golden retriever was outside in our fenced in backyard and started acting strange (neurotically) about 1 minute after returning inside the house. Her eyes were twitching and her head moving in a repeated circle motion, and she struggled to walk. She then started drooling, a lot. She's at the emergency vet now and doing better after having thrown up on the car ride or the vet. I think she must have eaten something in our backyard, but I haven't been able to pinpoint it. I did find 2 little red (what look like) berries. I thought I would try posting a photo here to see if anyone knows what they are? I'm located in northwest Georgia. If you have any other subreddit suggestions for posting in, that would be helpful to know! Thank you!

As someone uneducated on anarchistm, when just hear the word, I just imagine lawlessness. I've read some about commutes and communities organizing and actively resisting the formation of states, but I fail to understand how organized communities are anything other than just a smaller form of a state. Can someone explain how they're different? Especially if they have the power to trade and resist the formation of states.
