I saw a lot of posts about this organization. I was invited to this before. You will pay the $95 fee then they will claim your payment of $95 saved you $1000 on level 2 which is just a scam to get more money from you for training videos and a certificate.
On paper, this doesn't hold any weight. I'm trying to save all the newbies from a big mistake.
On the invitation, they claim to paint the picture pretty. You've been selected because you are so hardworking. If you are smart, you will see through this. The website is as thin as the opportunity is. The so called mentorship and networking is fake. You will end up networking with other students at SNHU which is hardly worth it. Many students claim that the mentor benefit is nonexistent. This company doesn't care about you. They only want your money.
I think SNHU should not even allow this company to work with their school. It's highly embarrassing. This company is predatory in the way they send emails. This company is sketchy and does not have good enough benefits to pay nearly $100 for. If you give NSLS, your phone number you will be spam texted.
If you chose to give them, the money - you will likely never see it again or fight for more than three days to get it back.
Once you pay the fee for the membership, there is another fee for enrollment and induction kit which is usually around $136-163. They do nothing ther than zoom meetings. There are scholarships worth applying to, but only if you are lucky. You'll go through a big ceremony to make the student feel they've got their money's worth. It's all one big ploy to get your hard earned money.
If you want it on your resume, I would just put it on there because if you got invited - it's basically like you got in without being their cash cow.

 | Hey guys maybe someone can help me with this problem. I have two Basic Clawdeens, one with golden elastics (right) and one with black elastics (left). Somehow I think my Clawdeen with black elastics looks better and has a different Face Like smaller Face and eyes is that normal? Now my Problem, the head of the golden Clawdeen doesn't stay down. Every time I push it down, it slowly goes back up completely. How can I fix this? I already removed the head and put some rubber bands around it but it didn't really help. Olá,
Gostava de saber se alguém já fez ou conhece alguém que tenha feito queixa de um instrutor de condução no IMT. Não me querendo alongar muito em detalhes (expliquei melhor a situação noutro sub para quem quiser ver), o meu instrutor humilha-me, maltrata-me e chega a dar-me chapadas nas mãos e nos braços. Inicialmente não estava a pensar em fazer queixa, estava apenas com planos de ter uma conversa com o dono da escola. No entanto, depois de conversar com algumas pessoas sobre a situação, percebi que realmente não é admissível estar a pagar para ser tratada desta maneira. Alguém já teve ou sabe de alguma experiência parecida? Eu já tenho ansiedade e ser sucessivamente maltratada desta maneira está a deixar-me mal psicologicamente. Eu tenho pouca confiança na minha condução e isto não ajuda nada...

Pongo un poco de contexto:
Soy Venezolano, tengo 20 años, nunca entré a la universidad porque a pesar de que fui buen estudiante en primaria y los primeros años de secundaria me dí cuenta de muchas cosas sobre el sistema educativo (regido por el ministerio de educación del país) y el porqué es una mierda. Mi mamá lo entendió, mi papá siempre quiso que estudiara porque él no estudió y cree que muchos de sus problemas vienen de eso.
He tenido un solo empleo en mi vida en el que duré dos meses en un taller automotriz en el que me mataba por 30$ a la semana (con pagos muy poco puntuales), muchos de mis conocidos contemporáneos tienen empleos igual o peores que ese, algunos logran con "palancas" encontrar trabajos en linea en casas de cambios, callcenters, etc. Me apasiona el mundo del ciclismo y las importaciones, me fascina ese mundo pero no he podido lucrarme de eso ya que acá el BMX (tipo de bicicletas que me apasionan) ya no se ven casi y no hay un publico amplio para eso.
Me gusta salir a rodar con los pocos amigos que tengo que también practican el deporte, pero se ha complicado bastante porque de dónde soy (y donde llevo viviendo toda mi vida)

I know what answers I’m gonna get, but I wanna ask anyway. 28M from Australia. Unsure whether to join my 6 mates to go live in the UK
I spent 7 months in South America last year after quitting my design job. I’ve now got mates moving to the UK, but I have so many doubts
My main concerns are:
• Falling behind in my career (been tough finding work since being back) • Spent 30k AUD in South America and now will blow something similar, maybe more (currently got 55k AUD) • Have to hustle for work all over again (all I’ve been doing since being back in Melbourne)
All my mates going are very travel and experience motivated, whereas I did heaps of that last year so I’m not as much
The only reason I’m more in for this is because I feel I’ll regret not trying it when I’m 50, 60 years old - but a part of me really does wanna settle down and start my life up again - as returning to Melbourne has been really difficult
What’s everyone’s opinion? I’m so torn

i was reading What Happened To You? Conversations on Trauma, Resilience, and Healing by Bruce D. Perry and Oprah Winfrey, and these two quotes caught my eye
the first quote:
In every person-to-person interaction there are complex calculations going on in the person's brain: Is this person safe? Are they an ally or an enemy? Will they hurt me or help me? What are they planning to do? What are they trying to do? What do they want? This relational calculus helps define where we are in a power differential. We are equal: I don't feel threatened. I am dominant: I am safe. They are dominant: I am vulnerable. If we feel vulnerable, there will be a state-dependent shift in our stress-response systems—and therefore in how we feel, think, and interpret the interaction.the second quote:
When you're on the top of a power differential, sometimes you don't realize the power you have—or the impact your mere presence can have on others.the first quote got me thinking about the focus of attention that eights have (according to The Enneagram by Helen Palmer at least)—a focus on the power dynamics, where the power lies in situations and relationships. control. it's something that people all naturally do to some degree, but i assume that it's especially prevalent for eights, with the caveat that the eight ego is built around invulnerability. so that "relational calculus" is more likely to turn out with the result of "i am dominant"—if my understanding of eights is sound, at least.
my main interest was in the second quote, though, and it reminded me of the times where i've seen eights comment on not realizing how assertive or aggressive they can come off.
so for the eights of this sub; have you ever underestimated how big of an impact you can have on people? and have you ever regretted the way you went about handling a situation, or a conversation, etc, because of how it affected another person?
how did it make you feel? what did you do about it, if anything?
we hear a lot about eights and aggression (understandably, given the type is the most comfortable with anger compared to many of the others), but i'd love to hear more about your other experiences, including with the aftermath of your anger for those who are willing to talk about it.
i'm also curious about other types and how you may or may not relate to the quotes above. let me know what's going through your head!
