Someone in the drarry book club on Discord is looking for a fic described as this:
"I'm trying to think of the fic where Harry cannot come up with an acronym which passes muster with the stupidly-named department of department-titles, it's hilarious but I am the antithesis of Madam Pince. Anyone know what the fuck I'm on about?"

2025.01.24 21:21 Patient-Mobile2289 Is it ok that I talk to my SP while manifesting their love and obsession for me?
So, I've been told that after manifesting my SP (I manifested for her to be my wife and very caring and happy with me, etc) I must not interact with them and just let it all happen till she talks to me and comes to me to be my gf and whatnot. Thing is in the situation I'm in, NOT TALKING to her would be weird. So we were together for a long time, there was a bad breakup involving absolutely horrible things, mental disorders and other very non fun subjects. e are still 'friends' and still talk and I love her (obviously) so I'm still being nice and caring and such. ofc not using pet names and whatnot. But the thing is ; I am not doing it BECAUSE i want her back, I am doing it because I genuinely care about her and am interested in her. So does it coutn as "forcing control" therefore "doubting" manifestation? Now, since I am already in the reality I manifested in which the universe has put us on the path to get married, nothing should matter, right? Should I just keep talking to her however I feel? Should I be avoidant until she comes back to me? I'd love to hear advice.
Right now, since I'm in my best reality, I'm just doing whatever I feel like.

2025.01.24 21:21 Infamous-Story-9868 Looking for advice on my brother's possible sleep disorder or neurodivergence. Urgent, please help.
Hello! I have thought about posting here, but I never did because it never seemed necessary. However, I am at my wit's end with this issue. I don't know how to help younger my brother (16M, 5'5", ~120 lb., Asian) nor does our parent. For context, we come from an immigrant family with only one parent, and our parent does not have the time, ability, or resources to help him with academics because of work. Additionally, my brother is not taking any medication at this time (he has only ever taken growth hormone shots in the past but stopped around 2 years ago once his levels were sufficient), and his only medical conditions include food allergies that were diagnosed when he was a baby. As mentioned in the title, my primary concern is that he may have a possible sleep disorder or may be neurodivergent. This will be a lengthy read, but I appreciate any insight or advice on how to navigate this issue. Our family dynamics are dysfunctional at times, and there can be a lot of stress and anxiety caused by our parent when we are not, for lack of a better description, doing well in school or functioning "normally" in other areas of life.
These concerns started around the end of my brother's sophomore year of high school. Through freshmen year and the start of sophomore year, he had straight A's and no other issues at school or with academics. However, he failed one class in the middle of his sophomore year. That was the only class during that trimester, so it did not seem like a huge issue. However, in the last trimester, he failed half of his classes. I tried my best to help him out and nudge him in the right direction (make study plans, sit down and do homework with him, etc.) during this time but I had limited time because it was my last year of high school and I did not have the time to prioritize this issue.
The reason why I thought it could be related to a sleep disorder was because before we started implementing habits to help his sleep schedule, on his days off from school he would spend nearly half the day sleeping and would wake up still feeling tired, but I believe this issue persists now. Even when he gets enough sleep he still struggles to stay awake at times. He seems to fall asleep immediately during class/lectures or if there's not something stimulating in front of him. But if he was playing games, working out at the gym, or even watching shows that he liked, he had no problem staying awake or staying up even later. This tendency was problematic as he would ignore his schoolwork and forget to do self-care tasks like eating, brushing his teeth, showering, etc., and even with warnings and reminders from me he struggled to remember his responsibilities. This leads to why I believe he may be neurodivergent.
My brother struggles with communication, social interaction, and executive function. He generally has a hard time conveying his emotions and speaks in a monotone most of the time. Growing up, my cousins and I noted some mannerisms that we just said were "so (Brother's Name)," but we never noticed it as a concern as he was still sociable and just had his specific interests. He still did well in school (and still does now), but I have noticed that he can misinterpret questions/conversations at times or take language literally. He has a hard time staying organized, managing time, and prioritizing tasks, and reflecting on this I believe that even well-intentioned, the help I tried to give likely made him overwhelmed more than comfortable like it would for me (e.g. using calendars, making to-do lists, brain-dumping, etc.).
I would ask my brother if anything was happening or if he was going through any struggles (physically, mentally, and/or emotionally), but he was not able to verbalize a coherent explanation of how he was doing. From all standpoints, he seemed to be healthy and happy, and like the average teenage boy. But his grades and lack of motivation or desire to do things (if he was not in school or at the gym, he would spend nearly the whole day lying down—sometimes on his phone, but there would be times when he would just lay down and stare at the ceiling—until he had to get up to do something (a lot of the times on my or my parent's prompting) suggested otherwise. During that year we got him evaluated for ADHD.
The first doctor suggested this was a lifestyle issue and too much screen time, so he suggested we set up a curfew and watch his screen time. Additionally, he also provided a feelings worksheet for my brother to start journaling. The screen time curfew was manageable but we could not force him to journal, and with the journal entries he was willing to show me, they were pretty basic: "Today I felt sad. Today I felt happy." and so on, there was no more specificity to them. When I asked him why he felt like that, he would just say "I don't know," which is a pretty common response for him for most questions. I have noticed he tends to struggle with questions that have multiple connecting parts or have no objective answer. For example, he can answer 2+2 or other math questions fine, but when it comes to questions like "How are you feeling?" or "What are you thinking about?" he can spend minutes just thinking/spacing out, and when I would repeat the question he generally says "What?" or "I don't know." One of the mannerisms clocked at an early age from everyone around him was that his first instinct is to say "I don't know" to something (even if he does know), and he is usually unable to give a "definitive" answer to multiple-perspective questions. By this, I mean that he usually adds "Probably," or "I guess," or "Maybe," and so on, he is never able to be definitive about an answer unless it is objective.
Later on, we met with another doctor as his issues did not change and he continued to struggle in school. This doctor had him start Dextroamphetamine for the remainder of the school year. To my knowledge, my brother felt that it had no effect on him and did not continue the medication throughout the summer (on the suggestion of the doctor as he would not be in school and that was the main concern at this point). She did mention he could start an antidepressant medication over the summer to see if that would have any effect. Still, he told us that he did not want to and on my part, I was not as proactive as I could have been (as I was preparing to move out for college and recovering from my own academic and mental health burnout).
Fast forward to now, my brother started his first trimester of junior year and failed nearly all his classes. Additionally, many of his teachers and high school counselor raised their concerns about him sleeping constantly in class and inability to stay awake. We met with his counselor about this three months ago and ended up implementing conditions like taking his phone away at bedtime and having him get ready for bed earlier. This partially helped, as the counselor mentioned today that he was not falling asleep in other classes save two (which he is currently failing), but at this point, the counselor had no other advice except to continue those implementations. This is where my frustration lies as, at this point, me and my parent are unsure of what to do from this point forward. As far as I can tell, my brother is a smart kid, and I don't believe he struggles with the material too much. For example, with one of the classes he's failing (chemistry), he has no problems on the tests and picks up the material well during class, but when it comes to turning in homework on time, he procrastinates there and struggles. He has good friends and a normal social life, and he takes time to go to the gym and hang out with his friends. He was struggling with doing his homework in the past, but now he's actively doing it for the most part (although he still struggles with turning it in).
As of now, he has currently been improving in terms of not sleeping in class and keeping his grades up. However, he's failing two classes, and I believe part of it is related to his struggle to get homework done on time. Recently, I have noticed that he also has not been going to the gym as much. When he gets home he does his homework right away most of the time, but he seems to spend the rest of the day lying down, scrolling on his phone, watching shows, or playing some games on his laptop. He only goes out now if he has to go to his part-time job (he cat-sits occasionally) or if he has to run errands with our parent. Otherwise, he does not seem to have the desire to do much outside of passive activities once his homework is done, which is a problem in the sense that he seems to forget to eat, shower, do chores, and so on once he knows homework is in the clear and he can just play games/watch shows or bed rot the rest of the day.
I am willing to provide more details if necessary, I just want to help my brother. He has said to me he knows that his behavior is problematic and understands the consequences. He also feels ashamed and guilty for needing help (which I believe is related to childhood trauma but may be a sign of neurodivergence from the brief searches I have done), but it seems like he does not have a sense of urgency about how He's a smart kid but I'm afraid he might screw up his future with his inaction despite how much we have been trying to help him and nudging him toward the right direction. Our parent is trying to help him as well, but the language barrier and generational gap between them makes it hard for them to communicate and often leads to more conflict. Additionally, living away from my hometown makes it stressful as I cannot sufficiently manage that alongside my college life. We are planning on setting up a doctor's appointment soon to discuss these concerns, but if I could receive any guidance beforehand to better explain the situation to the doctor, that would be greatly appreciated.
TLDR: My younger brother is at risk of not graduating high school on time because of something that started halfway through his sophomore year. I suspect he may have a sleep disorder or neurodivergent and that is impacting his academic life as well as his day-to-day life. Our high school counselor has set up meetings but nothing helpful has been suggested from the school's part, and the teachers are not very communicative. If anyone has any advice, experience, or suggestions, please help!
