I’m 23 (F) and I have a twin brother whose been diagnosed with ADHD & ASD since he was 3, my boyfriend is also ASD /ADHD
I’ve had anxiety for a number of years & treat with medication but I have always felt ‘off’ always a little different, recently I’ve been seeing a lot of autism in women n I see some traits that fit me to a T but others not so much.
I’ve been having an internal battle (dismissing & validating my feelings) whether I think I may have some form of ASD (I do not believe I am ADHD) or if it’s my anxiety & being such an empath and my wishing to understand that is trying to attach myself to a group.
If you read this THANKYOU 🩷
Here’s some of my pros & cons per say
✅quite fussy eating which has exasperated as I’m older (my observation it’s more texture related & I do not want to try new things at all I am VERY comfortable with the foods I like / my safe foods)
✅constantly trying to find a deeper meaning / overanalysing conversations ( also a strong sense to show I can relate - I just talk about myself which doesn’t go well ☹️)
✅ absolutely hate eye contact, especially if I don’t really know you ( & I will make a point of stating that as I become anxious they’ll notice and ask me)
✅ unsure but I have a very small circle ( I have 1 friend - honestly people with multiple friends sounds so draining how do you have so much energy to alter what each friends needs / how you are with each individual?
❌ have what I believe is chronic anxiety
❌ I can be dramatic / other may say slight hypochondriac- I’m just always assuming. / preparing for worst case
❌ surely this is just my attachment styles trying to understand
❌ I have worked a full time corporate job for 5 years (those close to me alter) not to say this is a definitive factor just an observation

 | My 4th and hopefully last for some time pair of boots - been on a snowboard for 15 years and 4 years ago switched over to skiing (this is season 5) - Since transitioning I’ve battled ski boots - gotten new, molded, punched, you name it, the pinky area in the left foot kept adding pressure and aches. Powered through and last season I just had enough. My brother got his pair the year I switched over and swore by them, so I took the plunge! $1,100 USD later, I have boots that don’t cause me ANY pain and I’m beyond stoked! Post scan, my left foot measured half size bigger than my right and 6mm wider - which would explain the pains. I will say, I got them fitted and assembled the first evening I arrived, and had 2 adjustments the following day to release some tension in the toes on said left foot - but since then were smooth sailing. I know people say it’s just an upsell, they work on commission, but I’ll pay $1,100 to not have pain in my feet and enjoy my ski days anytime! Their service was top notch coming back for adjustments as well. Their new liners come prelined with heaters so if down the road I ever decide to go the heated boots route, I can pick up a set of their batteries but haven’t had the issue of cold feet yet. submitted by Az636 to skiing [link] [comments] |

So I am relocating to the panhandle of Florida and I have interviewed with 2 companies for project engineer positions. Jacobs which I am somewhat familiar with and Waggoner which I have heard of but know nothing about. Anyone worked for both by chance? I know Jacobs is a much larger company, but is it the better choice? FYI have not discussed salary too much yet, that may make the decision for me if there is a choice to make. Something I've been pondering: LLM's in their current form are unprofitable, its a race to the bottom for the large AI corps to gain market share, but what happens when the funding runs out? Maybe the cost for AI inference gets low enough for the economics of it to work, but even still, what kind of monetization can these AI companies do?
Would people use an LLM if it gave targeted ads every once in a while, but in return they get access for free/a reduced cost?
Really curious what people think, so I launched a bit of an experiment, check it out and please let me know your thoughts

J'ai commencé à m'intéresser à l'alimentation intuitive il y quelques années, et l'une des premieres personnes française que je suivais sur le sujet était Elyane C (sur youtube et instagram).
Elle a été notamment la traductrice du livre officiel écrit par Evelyn Tribole et Elyse Resch. Puis elle a changé un peu sa philosophie et manière de travailler, et elle propose aujourd'hui un programme plutôt centré sur la gestion des emotions pour diminuer la compensation par la nourriture etc.
A plusieurs reprises j'ai hésité à investir dans son programme, mais j'ai toujours eu du mal à savoir si c'etait vraiment différent du travail que je pouvais faire par ex avec ma psy. Cela demandait un investissement en une seule fois donc forcément c'est plus dur de les sortir d'un coup par rapport à un.e psy
Est ce que quelqu'un ici aurait par hasard suivi un de ses programmes/formations/mentorat et pourrait donner son avis? Si vous préférez en parler en MP pour quelconque raison par ailleurs pas de soucis !

I'm new here and i'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this. The registration for the May exam for level 1 closes on Feb 6. Even though I still have time to sign up for it, I'm wondering if you guys think it's too late to sign up for this exam if I haven't even started studying for it. If I sign up today, is it too late to study for everything by May? Will it be difficult to do so? should I instead sign up for the august exam? Also for reference I graduated in May but I don't currently work in the finance industry. To anyone who took the exam, what do you guys think?

2025.01.24 22:53 GamerGoblin1 I might go to jail for defending myself, is it a sign to give up?
I was arrested and am on bond for fighting my autistic brother after he attacked me and chased me around and out of our house, I almost passed out from fighting and screaming with him as I tried to get away but I got arrested for 7 hours and his hand got broken from all the fighting even though he kept chasing me.
I've been really depressed before and even more now, if this court case goes poorly I might go jail for a year. This really seems like a sign from something that I shouldn't go on?
