Don't get me wrong, I respect their culture but I'm just curious. Many chinese woman on media applying millions of filters to look 7ft tall with 6ft legs, and they shrink their face and increase their eye size so much that they literally look like this: 👽. Some women even do it with face surgeries. I would just ignore it if it was just social media but no, even their TV programs and commercials are like this.
Is this some kind of beauty standard for them or is there a youth competition between women in China?

2025.01.24 22:53 Willing_Storm_1660 Timing Chain Update
Hello posting this to update anyone that was following my engine issues. For those of you that do not know when I got my Willy’s 4XE 6.5 months ago I was faced with a bad timing chain at 81 miles.
Same clanking / bad engine noises came again a few days ago at around 5000 miles. Just got the report today! Whole new engine, top end is blown up.
Shocked by this. Keep in mind I have causally off roaded this car on trails in CO but this thing barely gets driven and cruises around downtown Denver.
They claim that right now the plan is to order another engine and fix it (2 months) but that there is some debate of just putting me in another car. More to come on this! I do have a loaner and my service has been OK thus far. Although it is a jeep renegade which I have told them I need something better if it’s going to be that long, they agreed once something comes in i’ll get that.
This is a lease, so it’s their problem. I thank god everyday I didn’t purchase a 4xE simply for loss in value being so drastic, can’t imagine these issues on top of that.

Hello, I guess I ended up here in quite the same way most of you have. I've been trying to loose weight the normal ways for years with no luck. I'm 5'3" 380 and frustrated. I walk everyday I try my best to diet and no dice. My pcm recently suggested I try zepbound but I'm nervous about starting a new medication. What has it been like for you all ? Side effects? And what has help you deal with negative effects? She wants me to try going vegan too which I have no clue how to do properly. Are any of you vegan? How do you get your protein in that way? How to deal with the reality of loose skin when insurance likely isn't gonna cover removal surgery.
Yes I am aware strength training is best for weight loss but I have near constant hip and back pain from a serious injury and it makes weightlifting painful and difficult, it's also when my weight gain really took off. I was very active before my injury. If you have back pain I'd love to hear how you work out?
