I read a lot about if your investment horizon is 5 years, you should keep x% in bonds.
But what if I am now 45, I want to do an early retirement at 50 (live off my portfolio), my life-long pension kicks in at 65 (don't really need to withdraw from my portfolio anymore) and expect to live to 90.
Is in this case my horizon 5 years, 20 years or 45 years?
If I consider my retirement may start in five years, I should be heavy in bonds. If it is untill the end of the withdrawal period or the end of conservation period, not so much.

I had, what I’m guessing was, a 1.5mm ball for my lip piercing and I lost it.😓 When I went back to the piercer and asked for a replacement I was given the standard 2mm balls and now I am wondering if anyone knows where I can get balls for 16g jewelry that are smaller than the average 2mm ones? I know they exist because I had one! I just don’t know if I will ever find another.

My husband and I are planning a trip to Florida next month for the first time. We'll be there for a week and have a rental car; flying into Miami 2/13 and out of Orlando 2/20. I was thinking we'd spend the weekend in Miami, see the everglades, then go up to Crystal River to see manatees. Any recommendations or advice? Things to see, places to stop, restaurants, things to avoid, etc.

You are where you are, you are who you are, you are experiencing what you are experiencing, all because you want to. You are telling yourself a firsthand account about someone who is enjoying life, awakened, free and unlimited by what can be and unburdened by what has been, or a story about someone who is constantly punishing themselves. And if you are punishing yourself, only you knows why. Therefore, when you are ready for the punishment to stop, when you are ready for the character to feel forgiven, simply say it.
Say it and then do the thing that is a net positive for you, that brings joy and laughter, that blooms the brightest star in the darkest depths. Say it and do that which doesn't harm yourself or others. Say it to stop falling into the trap of the physical world and be charmed by the limitations of its existence. Say it because there's a greater world that bleeds into and beyond this one
And then once you make saying it a habit, you won't have bad dreams, and once you stop having bad dreams, you'll want to remember your dreams, and once you begin remembering, you will start having vivid dreams, and when you have super vivid dreams, eventually you won't know which world is real. You'll just recognize that you do not enjoy one world over the other. So in the "real" world you will feel trapped, but in the other world you will feel completely free.
But then, because of your travels, you'll realize that you now know more of who you are and what you are. And then you'll start to worry about everyone else who still wants to hurt themselves. Because if they are still hurting, then you are still hurting. So then you try to figure out a way to help everyone else stop harming themselves out of pure selfishness.
(Thus selfishness being the key to selflessness because the broken ego gets rebuilt around the totality of the self which includes others and everything in existence; In other words, your inflated ego can be much-much bigger than you can possibly imagine, but only if you are willing to break it first.)
But then you wonder, is it time? Is this the right answer? Surely someone else knew this and tried to spread it before right? So if they already heard it, does anyone around me actually want to know the truth? Should I do a poll? Should I create another religion? Should I make movies or art about it? Should I embed it inside of a top-secret government document like the JFK files? But perhaps I should hide the secret all over because I probably would never find it when it's so freaking obvious.
Because everyone knows where is the best place to hide, in plain sight right behind the seeker. If the seeker does not have a mirror, they will never find it. Yet even with a mirror, no matter how closely they look, they will never believe their reflection holds the answer.
Therefore, do not believe you are nothing because you are something; do not believe you are everything because you can see others; do not believe you are individual because you are everyone; For all is one and one is all; once your body ceases to exist here in this world, you drift off to sleep in the void, until you wake up and realize it was just a dream. And you look around and see that nothing has changed, but you now realize what you need to say.

2025.01.24 23:15 JoeRockEHF Possible Lineup Bug?
So I got Impact 2019 Ketel Marte. I generally use Auto Lineup and prioritize stats and most the time it does a pretty good job for me. '19 Marte is listed as CF/2B and I have him at 90 now.
I had Impact 2006 Orlando Hudson at 2B but didn't want to replace him until I leveled Marte up. Well, I leveled him up and then some until Auto Lineup replaced my CF which was Impact 2022 Aaron Judge. Judge was shuffled to DH which then put Live 2024 Juan Soto on my bench. They're all rated in the high 80's.
I was a little confused by the logic here but went ahead and took Hudson out manually and used him to transcend Marte once. So I hit Auto Lineup again annnnd... Marte stayed in CF, Judge still at DH, and Soto who is the next best card by a long shot still on the bench. Who's on second? The only other 2B I have, S Season 2022 Jose Altuve which is the base card not leveled even once. He wasn't even on my bench, just on my Rivals Lineup and Reserve.
I put Altuve in Ambassador to take him out of the equation for a minute and used a scout until I got another 2B. I got some rated 50 something Season C player and Auto Lineup still put that player in at 2B instead of Marte.
I know CF is listed first for Marte but is the AI not seeing the 2B at all? I can put him there manually so no problems there, I just don't understand why the Auto Lineup won't unless I missed something. Thanks!

 | TLDR: Change HR zones or git gud? For some background, I'm 30 years old and in decent shape, certainly not peak but not bad. Running with a Forerunner 965 and Polar H10. I'm training for a half marathon in March with the Garmin Coach workout plan set to HR targets (I have zones set to %LTHR). This week I had a vo2 max run where the targets were completely beyond me: 192bpm for 2 minute interval. My legs just couldn't move fast enough for long enough to get me in that range for more than few seconds, and I ended up with a 0% execution score. I've also had a few threshold runs where I haven't been able to stay in the right range for the duration of the workout. So my question is, am I just out of shape or should I change my HR zones/maxes manually to get more attainable workouts? Currently my max HR is 202 (which seems insane) and LTHR is 180. I have my watch set to update these automatically, but it hasn't in a while, maybe because I've been on a treadmill for the winter? I’m doing a garage renovation into a music room and have been recommended a Vanee 130Cfm HRV. The specs list the noise at 73 dbA…this is much too loud for recording purposes.
Due to room size constraints I will have to put the ERV in the same room, as there is no separate mechanical room. My design calls for a small closet for the ERV which will reduce the sound somewhat, and I know the ducts can be lined and bulkheaded, but I’m just wondering if anybody knows of a quieter ERV. A lot of the ad copy doesn’t list specific loudness levels
