I think that the producers added the rule of not revealing if you’re a traitor or faithful in the final to help traitors especially sole traitors who are outnumbered as they would be a sitting duck if they had even a hint of suspicion on them at the end, and it could be an anticlimactic finish. But then they also added the seer role to even things out, help the faithfuls to catch a traitor or confirm another faithful late in the game.
But they failed to consider 2 things - even before the new rule, it was always the optimal strategy based on game theory to banish until there’s only 2 of you remaining, we saw it happen in US2 >!when Trishelle and CT banished MJ despite neither of them really thinking she was a traitor, why take the risk? As for the seer, I don’t think they thought through what might happen if a faithful looks at a traitor, it would essentially doom both of them despite being a tool made to help the faithfuls. Like many here said, it was a poisoned chalice for Frankie. As a faithful, you never want to actually look at someone you suspect is a traitor if you’re the seer, you want to confirm another faithful. And that’s what Frankie was actually trying to do, unfortunately Charlotte was a traitor. And even if you do confirm another faithful, that may not stop people from suspecting that both of you are traitors working together. Both new mechanisms will need a rework next season.

2025.01.24 23:30 skzboyfr Issue with using a controller

Recently, I decided to switch to playing WQ with a controller after I started getting press-on nails, and playing on a keyboard was insanely difficult to do. Everything has been fine, I’m learning fairly fast even with using a PS4 controller when WQ only supports Xbox, but I’ve recently ran into a very annoying problem 😭
Ive realized using the emotes menu with a controller is very clunky and annoying. Tbf, I dont even think I liked using it on a keyboard, I would just set specific keys to the most important emotes. My specific issue is that somehow my favorite emote is set to growl, and the same way you set your favorite emote is literally how you USE your favorite emote. I’m desperately trying to set it to woof so I dont stand there like an idiot using the overwhelming emotes menu, but because “hold down right D-pad” genuinely makes no sense when it does nothing to set a favorite emote and just makes me end up growling at my poor pups over and over again like a lunatic!!
I dont know if I’ll end up being the idiot and I’m missing some obvious answer, but if anyone can help please do, because this genuinely is irritating me so bad 😔

Hi,
I asked around earlier about experiencing a continues shed and scalp irritation itch. Many of you argued that it’s the alcohol from liquid Minoxidil which might be the culprit. So, I’m thinking of trying the foam version instead. It’s unfortunately not available on the Nordics.
Do you have any recommendations on pharmacies in the EU selling it? I know that Lirpharmacy (Ireland) sells and ships to the Nordics. They only sell Regaine which is quite expensive, especially since I only want to try it for the first time. I’m fine with a generic brand.

I’m an advanced level skier and I was an instructor in my early 20s, I have taught literally hundreds of beginner lessons to people of all ages. I’m now 32 and have been out of the instructing game for a while. Feeling a little anxious about tomorrow because to me, this is the most important lesson I’ll ever teach and I really want my wife to fall in love with this sport. For Immediate Release: January 23, 2025 REVISED Health Officer Order Limits Prohibition of Use of Power Air Blowers, Including Leaf Blowers, to Palisades and Eaton Wildfire Perimeter Areas Only Since issuing the temporary ban on power air blowers due to poor air quality from the fires, conditions have improved as the fires have been contained, reducing hazardous smoke and particulate matter across Los Angeles County. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has revised the Health Office Order issued on January 10.
The Order now limits the prohibition of the use of power air blowers to only within the Palisades and Eaton Wildfire Perimeter Areas as defined by the CAL FIRE and The Wildland Fire Interagency Geospatial Services (WFIGS) Group. This revised Order will remain in effect until the County Health Officer determines that fire recovery conditions have progressed to a point where use of air propelling devices will not negatively impact the health of residents and persons working in those areas.
Power air blowers may be used in all areas of the County of Los Angeles that are outside of the 2025 Palisades and Eaton wildfire perimeters.
Although of power air blowers may be used in all areas of the County of Los Angeles that are outside of the Palisades and Eaton wildfire perimeters, please note that in areas where concerning amounts of ash and dust are still present, the County Health Officer recommends that individuals consider alternatives to the use of power air blowers, for example, gentle sweeping followed by wet mopping or HEPA vacuums, to collect and remove them. Individuals cleaning fire-related ash and dust should always wear respiratory, eye and skin protection to limit their risk of exposure to the ash or dust.
On January 10, Public Health declared a Local Health Emergency in response to the widespread impacts of the ongoing multiple critical fire events and windstorm conditions. This emergency declaration remains in effect, as fire events have caused significant health and safety risks for residents across the county.
Public Health continues encouraging residents to follow these recommendations to protect themselves and their family from harmful effects of bad air quality:
If you see or smell smoke, or notice particles and ash in the air, stay indoors to limit exposure, especially if you have heart or lung conditions, are elderly, or have children, to reduce your risk exposure to particles and smoke. Keep indoor air clean by closing windows and doors. Use air conditioners that recirculate air to filter out harmful particles. Wear an N95 or P100 mask if you must go outside in smoky conditions for long periods of time in areas where you see or smell smoke or ash present in the air. Avoid air conditioners that only bring in outside air and don’t recirculate. Check and replace air filters regularly. Filters labeled “MERV13” or higher are most effective for removing smoke particles. HEPA air purifiers can further reduce indoor particles. If it’s too hot to keep windows and doors closed and you don’t have an air conditioner, go to a public place like a library or shopping center to stay cool and protect yourself from harmful air. Avoid using fireplaces, candles, or vacuums. Clean dusty surfaces with a damp cloth and don’t smoke. If you experience symptoms like severe coughing, shortness of breath, wheezing, chest pain, palpitations, nausea, or unusual fatigue, contact your doctor or go to urgent care. For life-threatening symptoms, call 911. As a reminder, follow the ash clean-up instructions at http://www.publichealth.lacounty.gov/media/wildfire/. The following is recommended for pets:
Avoid leaving your pets outdoors, particularly at night. Pets should be brought into an indoor location, such as an enclosed garage or a house. If dogs or cats appear to be in respiratory distress, they should be taken to an animal hospital immediately. Symptoms of respiratory distress for dogs and cats include coughing or gagging, difficulty breathing, including open mouth or increased noise when breathing (asthma like symptoms) Symptoms for cats are less noticeable.
