Hi,
I asked around earlier about experiencing a continues shed and scalp irritation itch. Many of you argued that it’s the alcohol from liquid Minoxidil which might be the culprit. So, I’m thinking of trying the foam version instead. It’s unfortunately not available on the Nordics.
Do you have any recommendations on pharmacies in the EU selling it? I know that Lirpharmacy (Ireland) sells and ships to the Nordics. They only sell Regaine which is quite expensive, especially since I only want to try it for the first time. I’m fine with a generic brand.

I’m an advanced level skier and I was an instructor in my early 20s, I have taught literally hundreds of beginner lessons to people of all ages. I’m now 32 and have been out of the instructing game for a while. Feeling a little anxious about tomorrow because to me, this is the most important lesson I’ll ever teach and I really want my wife to fall in love with this sport. Does anyone have resources pertaining to beginner lessons so I can brush up before tomorrow? Thanks in advance!

For Immediate Release: January 23, 2025 REVISED Health Officer Order Limits Prohibition of Use of Power Air Blowers, Including Leaf Blowers, to Palisades and Eaton Wildfire Perimeter Areas Only Since issuing the temporary ban on power air blowers due to poor air quality from the fires, conditions have improved as the fires have been contained, reducing hazardous smoke and particulate matter across Los Angeles County. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has revised the Health Office Order issued on January 10.
The Order now limits the prohibition of the use of power air blowers to only within the Palisades and Eaton Wildfire Perimeter Areas as defined by the CAL FIRE and The Wildland Fire Interagency Geospatial Services (WFIGS) Group. This revised Order will remain in effect until the County Health Officer determines that fire recovery conditions have progressed to a point where use of air propelling devices will not negatively impact the health of residents and persons working in those areas.
Power air blowers may be used in all areas of the County of Los Angeles that are outside of the 2025 Palisades and Eaton wildfire perimeters.
Although of power air blowers may be used in all areas of the County of Los Angeles that are outside of the Palisades and Eaton wildfire perimeters, please note that in areas where concerning amounts of ash and dust are still present, the County Health Officer recommends that individuals consider alternatives to the use of power air blowers, for example, gentle sweeping followed by wet mopping or HEPA vacuums, to collect and remove them. Individuals cleaning fire-related ash and dust should always wear respiratory, eye and skin protection to limit their risk of exposure to the ash or dust.
On January 10, Public Health declared a Local Health Emergency in response to the widespread impacts of the ongoing multiple critical fire events and windstorm conditions. This emergency declaration remains in effect, as fire events have caused significant health and safety risks for residents across the county.
Public Health continues encouraging residents to follow these recommendations to protect themselves and their family from harmful effects of bad air quality:
If you see or smell smoke, or notice particles and ash in the air, stay indoors to limit exposure, especially if you have heart or lung conditions, are elderly, or have children, to reduce your risk exposure to particles and smoke. Keep indoor air clean by closing windows and doors. Use air conditioners that recirculate air to filter out harmful particles. Wear an N95 or P100 mask if you must go outside in smoky conditions for long periods of time in areas where you see or smell smoke or ash present in the air. Avoid air conditioners that only bring in outside air and don’t recirculate. Check and replace air filters regularly. Filters labeled “MERV13” or higher are most effective for removing smoke particles. HEPA air purifiers can further reduce indoor particles. If it’s too hot to keep windows and doors closed and you don’t have an air conditioner, go to a public place like a library or shopping center to stay cool and protect yourself from harmful air. Avoid using fireplaces, candles, or vacuums. Clean dusty surfaces with a damp cloth and don’t smoke. If you experience symptoms like severe coughing, shortness of breath, wheezing, chest pain, palpitations, nausea, or unusual fatigue, contact your doctor or go to urgent care. For life-threatening symptoms, call 911. As a reminder, follow the ash clean-up instructions at http://www.publichealth.lacounty.gov/media/wildfire/. The following is recommended for pets:
Avoid leaving your pets outdoors, particularly at night. Pets should be brought into an indoor location, such as an enclosed garage or a house. If dogs or cats appear to be in respiratory distress, they should be taken to an animal hospital immediately. Symptoms of respiratory distress for dogs and cats include coughing or gagging, difficulty breathing, including open mouth or increased noise when breathing (asthma like symptoms) Symptoms for cats are less noticeable.

2025.01.24 23:30 VeryAwesomeSheep RAM issues after CPU swap
I managed to snag a good deal on a 5700x3d and decided to upgrade my good old 3600. Having issues after CPU swap.
CPU swap didn't go as planned. CPU came out together with cooler... (not the first time changing CPUs, but first time encountering this myself - should have started with swapping CPU when it was warm instead of cleaning the case first...). Managed to take off the CPU with the help of a hair dryer and put in the 5700x3d. It doesn't boot. After checking all configurations of RAM turns out B1 and B2 channels have issues. If there is RAM in B channel it's not booting and CPU error LED is lit up.
I also checked with my old CPU and it's the same situation, but RAM error LED is lit up and there are 3 long beeps (memory error).
So on both CPUs when RAM is in A channel (1 or 2 sticks) it's fine. But if any combination involving B channel is active it doesn't boot. Before any changes RAM was working fine in A2+B2 for years.
So is it possible that my motherboard got damaged by that pull out? All pins on both CPUs are perfectly straight and since it's happening on both of them I doubt that CPU is a problem.
TL;DR CPU came out with cooler. Now PC doesn't boot when any RAM stick is in B channel.

I’m autistic and don’t always understand social norms until they’re explained to me. I keep getting in trouble for asking this question so I’m going to ask here, maybe I’ll be taken seriously.
Why is it “bad” for me to say I should have been born black, I feel more black than white, and use behaviors that I imagine someone black would do (like getting a wig, dying my skin) to bolster that feeling?
Why is it “good” when men or women do this to each other? Like when a man puts on brightly colored clothing, makeup, and long hair and says he is a woman. Or a woman cuts her hair short and wears baggier clothing and calls herself a man.
To me, these two concepts feel identical. Why is my cousin often called nasty terms like “w**ger”? Why is black face bad? Can someone calmly and specifically makes one of these things “bad” and one “good”?
Please no hate or trolling. I get enough of that when I ask this question in person. I just want it to make sense to my stupid autistic brain so I can stop stressing.

I love the show, and I like Dean. Jenson is a great actor and he seems like a great guy and all, I'm not attacking the fans, I don't see how people are so OBSESSED with his looks. I can't see it, I'm sorry. Usually when someone is seen attractive, even if I don't see it, I can easily say "Yeah I see that."
Misha Collins, Jared Padalecki, George Clooney, Danzel Washington. I can see the appeal evan though I'm obviously not attracted to them. Jenson just looks like some guy to me. I genuinely can not see the appeal and I am SO LOST on it. Everyone from fans of Supernatural, to people who just know of him as an actor. Men and women and everyone else, they all say it. Just look at the hot posts, no pun intended, of today. Everyone in those comments basically worship the guy lol.
He's definitely not ugly at all, definitely better looking than me, and I have no problem admitting if a guy is attractive.

Throwaway because I'm scared. I know this sub is currently about college results, so sorry for the off topic post!
But anyways, I've been scared about my grades recently, and I want an actual cold hard truth answer to get me more aware. I'm a current sophomore and the only sophomore in calc bc, but with a not ideal grade. When a big fancy college like hypsm sees my transcript and look at individual grades, if they see that I have grade like a 92 in calc bc, how big of an impact would that be? I know a lot of people will probably say a 92 is not that bad, and personally, me too! It's just that my school is insanely grade inflated, like a decent percent of students have a >97% GPA. I'm also unhooked and in a pretty competitive school, to make matters worse.
My family's saying its basically almost an automatic rejection from hypsm, while my only other confidant when it comes to college, chatgpt, is saying how as long as I'm well rounded, I'll be okay. But really, is it? If not, is there any way to salvage a not so great grade like this (like doing good on ap exam, sat)? Thanks guys :)

So, I decided to download PvZ1 (the original one made by popcap) as a nostalgia trip since I played this game as a child and wanted to revisit it. I decided to do it on PC since my phone has no space.
Turns out, it's buggier than a Bethesda game. Trying to access the achievements just backscreens my game, same thing with the plants section of the almanac (the zombie section works fine tho). The game pauses randomly and my PC heats up a lot too.
Tho, the main reason of why I make this post is because I can't advance beyond the night pool levels. It flashes blackscreens constantly, it briefly freezes when multiple plants attack the same zombie, and it crashed just when the final wave arrived at 4-3.
The game runs better when not in fullscreen, and it doenst flash so badly when i dont use the plantern, but it just confuses me a lot why this happens in the first place..
Any ideas on why this is happening and how can i fix it?
