2025.01.24 23:40 sinteredsounds69 Had to remove to put joy stick dust cover back on.

Just thought Id share. There's 11 screws I had to remove to get the black battery retainer as well as the control button PCB off. 7 are located above the speakers and the remaining 4 hold the speakers in. If you try this please be patient. I did not disconnect the battery or the speakers I only folded them over. I think getting the plastic chassis of is the hardest part. I used a guitar pick to wedge between the seem and start prying the case off. I was having issues trying to to force the dust cover back in through the small gaps so I decided to just take it apart! Here are before and after shots of a 160 Monza Jr I rebuilt a bunch of years back. I had no idea I was building an TS clone when I was putting it together, I found out later they had already built a bike that looked like this. Chances are I had seen it at some point and just didn't remember. Anyway, it was a fun little bike but not all that useful in modern traffic. I sold it to a guy who has it displayed in his auto repair shop. He rides it once in a while still too friom what I heear.

2025.01.24 23:40 SoftMatter7916 Dystopia is the most badass song I've ever heard

This song is incredible. Every single part of it is amazing. I love the drum beat in the second verse and the bridge is absolutely epic. And the choir vocals near the end are the cherry on top, it sounds so good. Dystopia has been my top replayed song ever since it came out.
I don't know why I posted this, I guess just wanted to spread some Dystopia appreciation! Does anyone else feel the same?

2025.01.24 23:39 GordonRammstein None of these valves seat fully. How would you replace with the short stub outs?

I was doing a Little googling and found some push fit shark bites that I was planning on trying out. I don’t own crimpers, so that’d be my easiest/cheapest option for a one off job. I know a lot of plumbers hate shark bite, but they seem to be gaining popularity and I’m willing to try. That being said, these stubs look pretty short and I think I’d need a little extra length to make them work.
So my questions now are:
A) can I remove these valves without cutting to save some pipe length?
B) what brand/style of valve would you use here?
C) do you see any problem with adding a 90 and a short length of pex to lower the placement of the cold water shutoff? It’s in a real bitch of a spot, tucked up behind the kitchen sink.
There’s a leaky filter tee’d into the cold water line that’s been dripping since we moved in back in November(long story as to why it hasn’t been fixed yet). I want to get it handled now, but I can’t shut the water off til I’m ready to replace these valves too.

Hey synth nerds! I’m moving to Atlanta in a few months. After being in the sticks for a while, I’m excited to be back in a city environment. I’m also fairly new to synths and electronic music after spending most of my musical careelife as a more traditional rock/blues guitar player. I'm planning to get certified in A+ 1101 soon and I'd like to get a job with it. I know enough about computers, I've built mine back in 2022 and had several repairs, so I'm very hands on and know how to figure out hardware problems. I'm very enthusiastic with computers as I've been using them my entire life and I'm really antsy to get a job WITH it, for both experience and money of course.
Should and can I get a job with just 1101? Or should I get certified in other areas first, like security, before I seek into the tech fields.
