2025.01.25 00:01 ObigonJinn Decompression after injury
Just finished up at the gym and twinged my lower back again. That all too familiar throbbing and electric pain radiating down my leg.
I just got home and immediately hung my upper body off the couch to decompress my spine and the pain went from a 9/10 to a 3/10.
My couch has a chaise. So my legs are on the chaise while my upper body just hangs over the side. Instant relief and feels amazing! I don't want to get up because I can't remember the last time I wad almost pain free!

Okay I need advice.
My fiancé and his mom have a very weird relationship. Definitely a lot of emotional incest - his dad was emotionally absent so she used her son to meet her emotional needs.
His parents visited us this summer and the first night they arrived, after FFIL went to bed, FMIL sat next to fiancé on the couch and literally started snuggling up to him laying her head on his shoulder and basically tried to fall asleep in his arms.
This was infuriating and gross. She also slapped his but as he walked away. This is crossing a boundary and very cringey. It makes me thing what does she do when I’m not around or before we got together?
I approached him that evening when we were alone and confronted him on how inappropriate that was. He understood and agreed but he ha major boundary setting issues with his mom.
Should this be a bigger red flag? Should I confront her about this?

I'd love for the people that had this issue to please download [twilight](https://zen-browser.app/download?twilight] and try to reproduce this issue.
With this build (https://github.com/zen-browsedesktop/actions/runs/12957037554) i tried to add a patch that fixes it but I dont know if im just incapable of reproducing or if it's actually fixed. Please do let me know, and make sure it's updated!
And for macos people, also please give it a try if you also had the browser freeze when opening the overflow menu on the sidebar. Thanks!

My friend just messaged me saying how he's underwhelmed by the sound and ANC on his new APP2. I had previously recommended the APP2 as a solid choice for wireless earbuds with ANC, especially for iPhone users, as I've used them since they came out and they have been great, even in an industrial work environment.
So I ask him some questions about why he's not happy with them. Then I ask him where he ended up purchasing them.
Ali express. You have to be fucking kidding me. I didn't need a picture to know that he'd purchased fake airpods.
I told him, just like I'm going to say here: If you purchase any airpods product from ali express, you received clones or fakes. No, they are not real. No you don't need to ask. They're fake, and aren't going to have the same quality in sound or ANC, and the experience may be sub-par because of that.
My only question for you is: What made you think that you'd receive a genuine pair of any airpods product from ali express? Have we lost common sense as a species now? They are fake. You purchased ali-pods for $50. Those are not the airpods that I recommend, and they are FAKE.
For anyone that's wondering. Yes, if you purchased them on temu or ali express, or off of a sketchy middle aged man selling them on FB market place out of the hatch of his dodge caravan, they are fake. You don't need to ask. They are fake. One more time. They are fake.

Out of curiosity, I've heard from multiple sources that attorneys are incredibly common in femdom/findom lol. Any there others on here? Have you heard similar things regarding submissive attorneys? I'm thinking about homeschooling my son in the next year or so. I'm going to be his teacher. Do I have to take him somewhere multiple times a week to check for proficiency? Or something like that? That's what my boyfriend told me.
From what I've read, it says nothing about taking the child to be tested (except in grades 5, 7, and 9. Which are the state standardized tests), just that it's on the parents to accurately record and document everything, purchase the homeschool curriculum, and a few other responsibilities. And just submit everything to district homeschool coordinators at the end of the year.

2025.01.25 00:01 Careful_Way_8038 Went to a party sober today
I just got home, stayed until 1 am, which is pretty good I'd say. Also I don't really have a problem talking to people, since I'm pretty sociable. So I did have some nice conversations.
But I still feel so fucking lonely now. Seeing everybody having fun and being drunk and I just felt like I was holding out until I can leave. I'm 23 and I know my relationship with alcohol is unhealthy. Like the usual blacking out etc. I know I don't want it to get worse, that's why I decided to stay sober for january at least. Now I'm just sad. I thought I'd be proud of myself. I was happy and motivated before, now I just feel empty.
When I left this one women said something along the lines of "you gave up". I don't think she meant it in a bad way, more like joking, but it still made me sad. I don't want to go back to drinking hard and I think I can manage to cut back, but parties being like this also sucks. Eventhough everybody was nice and nobody pressured me. I guess I'm just venting now. It's hard being young and trying to admit your drinking to much, because it's so common where I live and also for the people I go out with.
I hope I'll feel better about this tomorrow, maybe my expectations just where too high, I don't know.
