Would this be a good idea.....
School Free for All...College, University etc.
Then all the people who have the desire and the will to learn would be able to afford to do so. Would be able to finish school and start life without being in debt maybe making it easier to get a home, car etc. Also benefitting all the Trades, Sciences, Food Services, Nursing, and every other job that is having and is going to continue having shortages because no one can afford to go to school. I know I could have been on a different path if I could have afforded higher schooling.
Imagine banks not charging high interest on money ....government paying the teachers wages just like they do for lower grades/education levels.....stream line the courses. Maybe break the dependency on international students who universities charge 3X the amount to attend. More online classes so people can learn at their own pace and maybe maintain a job while doing their education. Breaking larger courses up into smaller sets(not everyone learns the same in styles but doesn't mean they aren't able to do the work)
Tie the free education into the province with contracts of work terms....Make it affordable to challenge exams to see what parts of a course you need to focus on if you are only missing some components.
Truly believe we are losing out on huge potential of a workforce we need and are going to continue to need.

Hi, haven't played in a band in a minute and am starting one up with some friends here soon where I will be singing and playing guitar. I've only been a guitarist in bands before so don't know much about the vocal amplification aspect. I got an SM58 with a mic stand and a cheaper 150W PA speaker to amplify out of. I'm probably going to have to get a second identical speaker to amplify over guitars and drums, but is that typically the setup for just friends essentially jamming for now? We're hoping to eventually play shows, but just need to hear each other for now. Sorry for the novice question. Cheers!

I LIKE my mouse and scroll wheel when I'm in a directory with dozens of items. I LIKE toggling between the sorting criteria at the top of each column - its GOOD!
