Hey everyone!
I am very much a novice with networking.
I am also a relatively new homeowner (6 months in) and I just recently installed a 5 port network switch in my basement.
Realistically I only need 3 of the ports currently: 1 to my ISP, and 2 to the main floor for my router and work computer.
My basement man cave with my smart TV and PS5 are about ~40 feet from the network switch.
Ideally I’d like both of them plugged into Ethernet cables, but the PS5 takes priority.
That being said, should I run 2 Ethernet cables together from the network switch or can I get away with running 1 cable and using a splitter near the smart TV and PS5?
What is best for gaming and streaming?

 | Hello, I will be majoring in Accounting and COMLAW as I'm planning to become a CA in CAANZ or CPA. I would like some advice or to give an idea of courses to select for both Semesters 1 and 2 would be greatly appreciated as im switching from finance to commercial law, but I've been told to just enrol in at least one course before swapping. Additionally, I must take ACADENG 104 for my AELR Some questions I have: 1) Should I focus on one major per semester, e.g., accounting in semester 1 and COMlLAW in semester 2, or should I have a mix of both of them? 2) Is math required e.g. stats? 3) What is WTR100!!!! well, I do know what it is however, I've been seeing it quite often in some posts and comments, is it important, especially for the majors im taking?!?!? If I have any additional questions I'll type them in the comment section. Here's an idea of where im getting for semester one. Let me know if the courses im trying to enrol to viable, and/or if I should make any adjustments.
