I know everyone says to not purchase skates based on looks (and to work with a fitter), but I’d really like to get a decent tan pair of ice skates instead of the standard white ones. I’ve only been able to find 2 so far, the Jackson elite pro (looks suede) and the Edea showgirls, neither of which come with blades. I’m not advance or anything, but would like a good quality pair that will last, and that I can preferably order online. I’m hoping to improve, but not really interested in doing any crazy jumps.
I’ve been doing mostly pond skating lately so I’ve been using recreational skates, but I’d like to get a pair of real figure skates and do more rink skating. Any suggestions or links appreciated! I’m a female in my 30s who skated as a child, 5’5 and 130 lbs.

I always thought I was a Xavier girlie but after reading his myth (well written) had a strange change of heart, and I tried to be loyal but... I feel for Caleb bad 😭 even though his main story stuff is off to me, I can't help it- I love him so much-
I also feel like in this current timeline/in the main story, Caleb is the one MC is the most deeply connected to.
They don't seem to have the weird linked souls, or linked hearts or anything, but their bond is real and formed in his lifetime. They're familiar and Caleb's love for MC has nothing to do with a past life (that I know of 😅) it's all her. I'm eating that up UGH.

I was having a chill day cruising blues like East Creek, Weasel Run, and Tiegel—just vibing, you know? Then I spotted Alpine Bowl marked as a blue and thought, “Sure, why not? How bad could it be?”
Turns out, it could be very bad. I stood at the top, and it looked less like a ski run and more like a sheer drop into the abyss. I swear, I saw my life flash before my eyes, and it wasn’t even an interesting montage. Meanwhile, these tiny humans—kids half my size—were launching off the slope.
So there I was, paralyzed, contemplating whether I should call my mom or write a will. Eventually, my dignity be damned, I resorted to the classic survival tactic: the slide of shame. I’m pretty sure I heard one of those kids ask their friend, “Why is that adult going down like a sloth?” But hey, I made it to the bottom… barely.

Just got frost punk one, totally wrapped up in it. Failed a few times and finally hit my stride my third playthrough on the original “a new home scenario”. I’m at the stage between the londoners and the storm. I’ve made it beyond here once, only to fail. Now I’m really set up for success but I believe there’s a bug? Resolve situation with refugees 2/3 has been on my screen for ages. I played til day 45. No storm. Fully explored with my scouts. Did find plenty of survivors since getting this task but none were “the” final refugees. I’m at a point where I’m so disappointed and the thought of starting again is making me chose to not play. Is there any solution other than loading up the game before this bug… which isn’t an option anyway. I’m sooo bummed!

I recently bought a few frames for some Victorian lampshades. Two of them were already taped, and whatever they used was really easy to sew into. I would love to find some to use on the other frames I have, but I can’t figure out what type of tape it is. It’s not normal cotton tape (which is the only thing I can find on the internet). It almost seems like cloth medical tape. HOWEVER, it is definitely not medical tape….I had some on hand, so thought I would try it. Big mistake, as the adhesive sticks to the pins and needle. It was a real bitch to peel off the frame, too.
Does anyone have any idea what kind of tape it might be? It is white, not cotton, but some sort of cloth, and it definitely is self-adhering. Exact texture of cloth medical tape, but doesn’t leave a sticky residue on my pins.

i’m currently working on a project where one of the accessories is a big button with a simple but cartoonish design, i have the perfect button to use but it’s not the right color, has anyone used gel polish for something small like this? the button is completely non-functional, purely a fun detail that will be on a hat so it won’t see very much handling (though the hat is normal enough that i plan to use it as a daily winter beanie as well). i’ve already gently sanded and roughed up the surface of the button, i just would like some reassurance that gel polish won’t react poorly to the plastic, and if it’s safe should i apply gel base coat first or go right in with my colors? any additional tips for this are also welcome, thank you in advance!!

I understand hell froze over in the south and we received a decent amount of snow and ice. Walmart was obviously not prepared. Since yesterday, I've been receiving text stating drivers are needed and notifications with incentives from Spark. For some reason, Spark and Walmart are not on the same page. Stores are showing no deliveries until Monday on the Walmart app, but Spark app shows they are busy as hell and need us. Support is just as confused. Why cant this be simple? Theres no communication between Walmart and Spark so it continues to be a guessing game. Support told me deliveries are cancelled until Monday then today tells me they are open today but closed tomorrow and Sunday. Huh??? 🥴make that make sense

Considering Nexus flipping at a rave. I have 130mg of MDMA and am thinking of taking 10mg of 2c-b (oral) around 3 hours after the peak as per recommendations I've seen here.
My concern is intensity. I hate feeling overwhelmed in public and just want to enhance the MDMA roll.
What does it generally feel like when you Nexus flip? Is it an enhancement, does it make the roll more intense, or does it just extend it?
