Crying Screaming Throwing Up I was invited to a study that was offering 17.50. They said that I could possibly be invited to part 2 and receive a bonus. I was invited 2 hours later but I was so surprised by the amount and I’m new so I accepted it on my iPad because I thought it would disappear. I didn’t know that my place was already reserved so by the time I got my laptop started to actually take the study, I timed out. I messaged the researcher and they said that it should come back to me because my spot is reserved but outside of waiting for a response from support, I think I blew it and fumbled the bag 🥲

I'm excited. I didn't even know what an Arduino was until I accidentally ordered one of Temu. (was meant to be a starter kit for a pi). So far I've learnt how to wire a basic circuit (led on and off with a button) and even taught myself the basics of coding. I have a dream and desire to build wearable tech. Stumbling across this has changed my life. I didn't realise I just needed microcontrollers and code to make cool shit work.
I know there's a lot more to it all, but I'm just so happy. I have a very lonely life and this has just brightened it up so much. I have bought a new starter kit ( the original one I bought was very cheep, the board, the components everything was crap, thanks Temu, yes I know) and will be building this project over the weekend. I will post as soon as it's up and running. What a truly beautiful thing an Ardiuno is.

2025.01.25 00:01 seedlingsDISC Finally threw the Glacier and Avery FD1

I played a bad footing round on frozen snow today, but got a peek at the Glacier and Avery’s FD1. The Glacier has a very pushing fade. I kept thinking it was about to dump, but never did. Anhyzers went straight instead of slightly right. Can’t wait to throw it with good footing. Avery’s FD1 kind of amazed me. I have two well used white c-line FD1, and Avery’s out of the box was much straighter. The fade was there, but mellower than I’m used to, plus it has a baby flip-up unlike the used c-lines. I haven’t thrown Casey’s Skywalkers or the S-line, so it may be more like those. Well done Discmania, Gannon and Avery!

Hi. I got a Call of the Brotherhood and corrupted it in Hopes to get a Convertion below 100% for Build purposes.
I got it to have 105% of lightning damage converted to cold damage.
My curiosity: is anything above 100% convertion kinda nonesense OR does it mean i get 5% extra lightning damage to cold, like idk i get 105% cold instead of just 100% and the 5% are wasted.

I just listened to this week’s PKA episode where they covered the Destiny situation. Before I get into it, I want to say it’s really fucked up if what he’s accused of is true. That said, there are still details up in the air that could make the situation either more or less fucked depending on how things play out.
What really stood out to me, though, was how smug Taylor came across while talking about it. Yeah, Destiny clearly fucked up, but Taylor’s take felt so strong He straight-up claimed that Destiny was trying to pay off Pxie to keep her quiet. But if you actually read Destiny’s statements, he showed “evidence” that suggests something else entirely. Destiny explained that he was talking to another girl close to Pxie, trying to figure out what the fuck to do moving forward. This girl brought up how Pxie was struggling financially—she even mentioned Pxie had to make small payments just to cover $130. That's why destiny offered to pay pxie
I hope I'm not coming off to soy which I know I probably am but the way Taylor talked about it was super bad faith. I'm just waiting for a deeper response video from destiny to decide if I should give up on him and not watch his stuff again or if there's a road to redemption
