I've been staying w/ my boyfriend & his family over break and have been using his mother's (with permission) headset as I left my gaming-esque headset at our apartment.
I am a person with a small head and sensory issues, so most headsets (esp. gaming ones) tend to be too heavy or I have to clamp them fully around my temples so as not to fall off, leading to uncomfortable, too-warm, and painful ears (from pulling them down) and persistent headaches. They're also frequently TOO noise-canceling, and the transition from wearing them to not ends up being damp, painful, and overstimulating.
As such, I typically go for a separate USB mic and earbuds on my own. (Which is pretty inconvenient)
But bf's mom's headset is a GAME changer. She has frequent work calls and these things are INCREDIBLE - they don't have those indents in the earpads, but they're soft enough that my ears aren't being sucked into a sweaty humid hole AND aren't squished against my head. The grasp itself is equally gentle & is SO much more comfortable - and the mic flips down (and magnetically attaches to) the side rather than sticking out in front, which I ALSO love. The brand calls it "AirCushion
One BIG downside: these are the (as far as I can tell) "Jabra Evolve 40 UC STEREO" set, which can run you over $100. I am a college student & don't want to drop that much money (at this moment) on a headset when I have earbuds that work fine.
So, I'm wondering if anyone has any cheap-ish recommendations (preferably around the $25 mark) similar to those (or if they think I should just look @ some second-hand listings of the same product)
TLDR: looking for headset w/ mic similar Jabra Evolve 40's at much cheaper price point - any recommendations or should I just get them off of Ebay?

It's always, go do x and suffer artificially. Not go and help the poor, go and stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. Go and treat people with Love etc... It is always this negative vision of a suffering self loading slave never of a hero.
It's crazy to observe how many men actually want to suffer, be sacrifcied and die. It has to come from immense supressed self hatred which leads to masochism and some sort of bdsm. I see it as a not as a replacement for cutting oneself. They are desperate for someome giving them some kind of cope to do it. That is the definition of insanity. If someone does something positive how would they suffer? They would not and that is the problem for them, this is why they whip themselves in basements.
Its the same mentality that can be seen in the military (which is litellary a death cult) and at many workplaces. People being proud of their own self destruction, wanting to drag others down with them.
That is considered masculinity btw. With people like david goggins running around in circles for no reason suffering and destroying their body out of pride, leading the charge.

1) the mini leds are too slow on dark-to-light transitions, which leads to that ugly smearing; this is fixed by increasing the local dimming setting.
2) however, that setting highlights another issue: zone transitions are rough and flickery; it can be very noticeable irl both inside that moving white circle...
3) and when the cursor is on a grey background.
I mainly wanted to know if this is a common issue (for this model) or my unit is defective

AU says you can take each course twice. Does enrolling in a course and withdrawing before the end date count as one of those times?
I'm having a particularly hard time with a course and am about to write my supplemental exam, as I did not pass the original. I was previously enrolled in this course a year ago and withdrew due to personal health issues.
So, if I fail, do I get another chance? Or was my withdrawal counted as my first go at the course? Having a hard time finding the info on the website and it's too late to call.
