2025.01.24 23:57 pricklymuffin20 What do you guys do in between therapy sessions?
I just had my therapy session this afternoon, I go once a week but pushing for 2 (I will find out soon if that can be confirmed)
I just feel, idk depressed I guess is the word, after my session most of the time. I think its because my therapist is the only person I look up to right now... I even told her that today, it made her happy and it made me happy to see that. I just know I can never be any more than a client to her and sometimes that stinks too :(
But what do you guys do during the week until your next therapy day? Would writing little notes in your journal to your therapist be beneficial you think? I thought maybe that's a great idea to start.

Call me crazy, but I'll say it. Live-action TLK needed to introduce humans, it would fit the realistic theme the movie was trying to be and it would also help the debate that it's live action or not. Disney advertising it as "live action" would make more sense, and it would be less controversial. Adding humans in TLK19 would fix a lot of things, it would actually be seen as a remake that did something new and the "photorealistic" route would be less controversial.
How would they fit in the story? Simple. Have humans capture young Simba after Mufasa's death; that would take him to a zoo. Simba would meet Timon and Pumbaa in that zoo that would teach him the ways of Hakuna Matata, and it would make sense here since the remake introduced more animals in Hakuna Matata. Simba would be befriending zoo animals, and he would be welcomed to the zoo, and Simba would accept the life of becoming a zoo animal.
Humans would be important to him as he will become a very popular animal for the zoo's audience. Humans would be feeding him meat, so "eating bugs" would have to be scrapped. We can add a human character that would be important to him, the one who will be feeding him and taking care of him ever since he was a cub.
Now how would Nala find him? Nala would be captured by the humans later on too after she escapes Priderock to run away for help. She would be put in the same zoo as Simba, where she would meet Simba there. This is where the "Can you feel the love tonight?" scene happens and the "Remember who you are" scene after where Simba needs to go back to nature rather than human obedience. Retaking his role at the circle of life. He would have some friends with him that would want to help him, including Timon and Pumbaa. Simba and Nala would escape the zoo while Timon and Pumbaa would help him.
After Simba and Nala finally got out of the zoo. Timon and Pumbaa would join them while saying goodbye to the rest of the zoo animals, where they would finally go back to Priderock and overthrow Scar.
This just fits... especially considering that TLK19 tried to go to a more "realistic" route. And this kind of story fits the more realistic theme TLK19 had rather than just going shot for shot.

I have an 06’ Caddilac DTS with roughly 126k miles. At the beginning of winter it started not blowing hot air unless I give it gas. I’ll be driving and as soon as I stop at a red light it starts blowing cold air, until i hit the gas and it blows nice and hot. Its a pain because it doesn’t heat up when i start it. I literally have to drive to warm up the interior. Any ideas?

Please remove post if not allowed. I wanted to post it in another sales group on Reddit, but given this is a throwaway account I don’t have enough karma or establishment to post. But I really need help and guidance so please understand the motives are good.
I’d appreciate if you could read this and provide any feedback regarding how to save the opportunity as well as should I report my manager to Human Resources. I am keeping this very generic so if it’s confusing, I apologize but I do not want to wind up being found out just from this post, but this group is so large and I know that there have to be people in here that will know what to do.
So, I started with a company, not too long ago. I have experience selling the products that we sell and joined because I thought they had a better value proposition than where I was previously at. Well, I found this big opportunity and because I’m newer, my sales manager Attended the meeting with me. My sales manager is also very new and was something sales related before, but never a manager or a seller. Well they decided to take the lead on it and I thought OK can’t be bad right as we were meeting with several VPs of the company. Well we go into the meeting and my boss does a presentation on our services our company and how we are the ideal provider for what they’re looking for. Well flash forward a few weeks later and I’m doing groundwork on the prospect to make recommendations for upgrading and consolidating for several of their locations and I basically find out that during our presentation for that first meeting, my boss told them a lot of inaccurate information. My boss told them we covered certain areas that we actually don’t, sold them, sold them on the idea of software that doesn’t even make sense because what the software is made for is to track the consumption of something items use that are owned by the prospect, and this prospects items are sold or rented so there’s no way to track the consumption. My manager also never accurately communicated to them that if they decide to rent instead of buy a certain piece of our offering, we would cover the permits for it. The permitting misinformation I didn’t even realize until this prospect reached out and asked if we would take care of that for them and I didn’t honestly even know the answer and I had to go find out so I let the prospect know and then realized in hindsight if we had adequately presented in the first place, they wouldn’t even have this question. To me if I was that prospect, I would have some serious concerns about capabilities and competence of me and my company. My manager also told them they would be an ideal company for us to optimize the number of times they place orders and get deliveries for the types of things we sell meaning if we deliver more per order it minimizes the number of deliveries per year. Well, after doing work in the field, I realized if my manager had even half a brain cell, they would have realized that because this customer places orders based on project need there’s no way to consolidate orders because it’s an unpredictable number all the time, because they never know when they’re gonna get another project make sense? My question is when something like this happens how do you wind up saving the opportunity and basically walking back the misinformation or that there was details about where my companies locations are, and important things like permits will be covered by my company. Since I figured all this out, I had a meeting with my manager and my manager’s boss and I clearly spelled out all of the information and how we look completely stupid or incompetent. Now they’re encouraging me to just walk away from it and I believe it’s because they know we screwed up so bad and it’s such a big opportunity and I’m so pissed. I have been told by colleagues of mine that know what the situation that I should report my manager to human resources because this is like a consistent thing with them within all customer visits they attend should I?
TLDR: my manager misinformed a prospect and now I’m trying to close the deal and we look incompetent. How do communicate correct information without the prospect realizing you even gave them the wrong information in the first place and you end up saving the deal?
