hi y’all, celiac diagnosed October 2024 here. I’m finally feeling like I am starting to heal, regaining energy and moving through brain fog, going from daily diarrhea to healthy normal stool, no more bloating etc. However i’ve started to occasionally have these big blowouts where I eat or drink something from outside the home, and then within an hour or so have sudden, urgent and explosive diarrhea (which has resulted in soiling myself more than once). i’m wondering whether this is likely from being glutened, or something else. folks have said it usually takes 6+ months of healing to be symptomatically impacted by gluten ingestion, but I was impacted constantly when I was eating it daily. I’d love to hear thoughts, and hear your experiences about how long it takes to feel symptoms when you have gluten and what they are.

I've been on OTA -- 650mg one pill, cut in half, taken twice a day -- for 4 weeks now. Melasma faded a ton, it's aweosome, but it's also the winter months and I am taking topicals (hydroquinone, TA and kojic acid) so it's hard to tell how much it really worked so far. Usually you see results at the 6 week mark, but I'll be near the beach in two weeks so might mess with my results (even tho tinted sunscreen no sun and hats will be worn).
Side effects are messing with me though. No hair shedding but ...
Week one I started to see my periods cgsbge (longer and not a true bleed) and also: intense bloating.
By week 4, bloating non stop everyday and 4 lb weight gain -- only around mid section and thighs.
Keep in mind I am 5'8", slim, and very active and I eat super healthy. Doesn't matter what I eat, the weight gain and bloating remains and is also increasing.
Anyone else have a similar experience?
And did your body go back to normal (re metabolism and weight gain) once you stopped? I want to stop now because the body-change is freaking me out.

I am 11 months pp and now am pregnant with #2 due early September. I had a cesarean delivery in February due to fetal intolerance of labor and arrest of dilation (only went to 6cm after 22 hours). Had my first appointment today and my OB told me my pregnancy would be considered “a short inter pregnancy interval” & told me about the risk of getting pregnant so soon afterwards. Any mommas in or have been in my same situation? I know I want another c-section for sure but did anyone experience any complications because of this and was recovery easier this time around since it was not an emergency c-section situation?
