I have a PDP meeting approaching and I’m expected to come with professional development goals. I also need to recommend any changes to my role description after being in the role for a year.
Do you all have any recommendations on goals or good things for EAs to know/pursue? And do you have any idea for what’s normally left out of an EA job description that we end up doing?

Any aviation folks out there that might be able to help me understand something?
I live upriver on the Mckenzie a bit outside of Springfield, I've had a helicopter traveling up river and back down river multiple times today. Not abnormal but not specifically normal either.
Usually it would show up on the Flight Radar 24 app. I've never had one that I've noticed and looked up on that app that wasn't wasn't showing up.

I am bad with breeds but it was the kind that always stays small in size and has fur like a teddy bear. It had a pink collar on. My husband parked nearby as I tried to get it but it got spooked and ran away. Another driver thought it was our pup and let us know that she spotted it going towards Brook Church. The baby looked scared. Hope it can find its home soon.

My psychologist just raised her costs and I'm not able to see her once a month due to the rise in the cost. Ideally I'd see someone fortnightly but we're only given 10 subsidised sessions, so I opt for monthly. However, I can't afford a monthly gap of $80. What is everyone else paying? Any recommendations for good psychologist that charge less?

I have watched Erudites content for a little over 2 years, and seeing this hurts, not gonna lie.
Erudite is in a difficult position, and who knows how this is going to play out. I do believe the majority of this hate she is getting is unwarranted, but there is a small amount that is justified.
Erudite most likely did everything she has with good faith in terms of being the mediator, but that also has the same optics as "sweeping" unfortunately. I do not believe Erudite made these actions with malicious intent or to protect Destiny (directly). However, it does make it optically hard to defend when the behavior in both instances mirror each other.
Erudite being the mediator in this situation does have the optics of protecting Destiny, but indirectly. It's completely understandable why Erudite has done what she has given her situation over the past year or so. She's had to consider her livelihood, finances, living circumstances, and business relations, which greatly affect how we ALL make our choices.
I don't blame her for the choices she's made, but the consequences of that is the hate she's getting. I understand what Erudite said about wanting to treat her friends and business with the same respect and morals, but I do not think the two can coexist together. Sometimes, it truly is best to separate Friendship and Business partnerships. Destiny being a friend and wanting him to redeem himself is normal, but that should've been private. The Podcast together complicated that.
Erudites argument for why she didn’t separate makes sense. People should have the chance to change and be redeemed. But that does not mean they get to be an arbiter of influence on the world. What Destiny did is disgusting and (in my opinion) unforgivable, but he is entitled to Change to become better (like everyone else is). It is not our decision to make on how Destiny is redeemed. However, Destiny CAN NOT have the influence in mainstream spaces that he wants to have.
Destiny's ideas and thoughts on Politics may be great, but he can not be a major mainstream voice on Social issues, Politics, etc. He has squandered that opportunity, and he is not entitled to have that back anytime soon. He needs to face consequences for the things he has done, and losing that opportunity might be one of those needed consequences.
We also need to consider that she is on good terms with the victim. She has made sure that she has not violated her consent on information, and she's been checking in often. In my opinion, that's one of the most positive things in this entire situation. The only people who truly matter the most here are the victims.
In terms of her being an "extension" of Destiny, that's where I'm conflicted. Even though I think what Erudite has done with her content, before the political arc with Destiny was, and still is great! That is where I thought/think she shines the most. It made her feel relatable (not that the political stuff didn't, just in a different way). Being able to tie That with with Politics was the perfect way to expand that as well.
At the same time, she did the majority of that growth with Destiny and not on her own. Having 50k subscribers is a good accomplishment, but it still felt like that was mainly due to Destiny himself. She's had to take a long break on her channel (understandable), and she did so much work for Bridges and Canvassing. So that's where the problem lies. Every major accomplishment is because of Destiny. So it does make her “look” like an extension of Destiny. And it does make her look like her opinions/thoughts can't be trusted in these spaces. What Turkey Tom said on this topic is right, People not being able to take Erudite seriously is an unfortunate, but reasonable conclusion.
I do not think she is an extension, because I feel her content and presentation offers something Destiny doesn't, and part of that is relatability. If Erudite does not want to be considered that, she should consider separating and focusing on what she can offer with her content.
Overall, I think Erudite has so much potential in social, commentary, & political spaces, but I think she has to do it without Destiny. I enjoy what she has to say on Social issues and other things (even if I do not agree all the time). I feel her voice could be a good addition to a lot of these spaces, and I hope she can get though this.
