Hey all, I’m working with dupioni silk for the first time. Making some flowy pants and shirts. The fabric is really really crisp and sandpaper-y right now. I’ve washed it once before starting. Will it get softer over time from washes? As is, it’s quite scratchy, not sure I’d want to wear it but could possibly line the pants with something softer.

Coworker says we’re “weird”
So I work at a gas station Tuesday it was snowing and I was at work I work second shift and Coworker (M) works Third shift and is always late. He’ll either show up a half hour or an hour late when he was supposed to show up at ten but instead showed up at eleven. Later that Tuesday night I called him because as always he was late to see if he was coming in and when he answered I said “hey are you coming in?” he replied “Yeah I’ve never had anybody call me about this” I said ok. When he showed up he was claiming that we were weird for calling him at first I stayed quiet to listen to what he had to say but then when he started accusing my shift of “work not being done” when literally everything is done before he even gets there and he really doesn’t have to do that much fr because Third shift isn’t busy because it’s late why would anyone be out so late? But anyway when he started accusing my shift that’s when I said “We do our work around here and we tell you what’s been done” like you’re not going to accuse my shift that you don’t work. Then I explained to him that it’s mostly first shift not really doing anything because me and my coworker that works with me have seen it and he says “It can’t be” how do you know? You don’t work first nor second shift so you can’t say anything and tbh he shouldn’t really be saying anything anyway since he’s always late. How are you going to be late every Monday and Tuesday then turn around and complain about having work to do? There’s always going to be something to do so the fact that you’re saying anything is weird what’s weird is you’re always late. What’s weird is that you had the audacity to even say anything and what’s weird is that you’re complaining about getting calls from the managers AND THE DELI WORKER despite the fact that YOU are always late so of course they’re going to call you YOU’RE LATE what the fuck do you expect bro? And it’s not even just that they even changed his time from 10pm to 11pm because apparently according to him he was used to coming in at 11pm and PRIOR the time change you were still late and kept coming in late the least you could’ve done was come in on time they did everything FOR YOU and you still couldn’t manage your time. And when I explained to him I was only calling to see where he was and if he was coming he replied “You don’t need to know” First off yeah I do because YOU work here and secondly I need to get home I’m not going to stay for someone who can’t manage their fucking time. When you work somewhere have some respect for others you know you have to be at work at a specific time it’s not hard to show up if you’re getting calls from BOTH the manager and assistant manager all the time that’s a problem and they shouldn’t even have to call you that much anyway you should already know to show up on time anyway. Dude was from another store helping us out and couldn’t even have the decency to show up on time if you’re going to be late AND complain about having really not that much work to do you shouldn’t be working here and that’s all I got to say.

So, when I enable **Always Load Old (Desktop)** and visit any basic Reddit URL, as expected, it redirects to old.reddit.com. However, there are times where (unfortunately) you'd need to use features only available in the "New" experience.
My suggestion is to only redirect URLs that **do not** explicitly contain reference **new**.reddit.com, **old**.reddit.com, or **sh**.reddit.com. This would allow redirects from all normal URLs as expected, but allow the user some granularity in hopping between experiences.

Hello everyone! I have a proxmox with installed latest truenas. I have several services like a transmission on truenas with web ui (let it be 192.168.1.100:30096). I want to use user-friendly domain names instead of IPs or ports. So I have access to my truenas with domain truenas.local and I want to have access to transmission via domain like transmission.local. Is it a good idea to run a nginx server that can resolve the domain and proxy it to the server that working on a specific port? For example, nginx has an IP 192.168.1.20, I set domain transmission.local to 192.168.1.20 and it will check the domain from where the request goes and proxy it to my transmission server 192.168.1.000:30096. As a result, I will have access to transmission by transmission.local domain name without ugly ip and port. Googling says that I can use MetalLB то start service on separate ips but it's not working since truenas refused kubernetes to manage apps. Is it a good idea or exists better solution?

So, one of my coworkers who works 1st shift has bedbugs. Luckily I only have to use the same closets as him twice a week, as we clean different areas the other 3 days.
I'm nervous. Ive been leaving my coat and purse in the car when I have to work his sections and I don't sit on any furniture. I keep away from all fabrics and whatnot as much as possible.
What about the cart? Am I paranoid about my legs sometimes touching the cart apron? Or is that a legitimate fear of transferring the bugs? Anyone know anything about bedbugs?

We have so many guidelines today it’s impossible to imagine what could possible be no longer recommended in the future… I often wonder this when I have to explain to my parents why we do things a certain way. I feel like it might be a switch from plastic bottles to only glass. And maybe disposable diapers will become discouraged and there will be a big switch to cloth? I can’t imagine there will be a huge change in safe-sleep guidelines.
