2025.01.25 01:05 moonlit_stroll Telling me to heal to basically put up with his actions?
We’ve yet again had an argument over scanning, or rather him ‘not scanning’ but avoiding ‘past feelings’ (even though I saw him scan girls recently but ok - he just looked at them out of ‘general anxiety’ apparently)
Any time I highlight things I’m not happy with he basically just tells me I need to heal. Eg. I need to heal to just deal with the fact that he has to look away from (girls he must clearly find sexually attractive) so not to be triggered. And apparently ‘wives in the PBSE podcast are doing it so why can you’.
I told him maybe I’m just not wanting to have to teach myself to put up with him having to control his sexual compulsions. We have no kids, we never married. Why would I, by his version, ‘heal myself’ to essentially stay in this relationship with whatever version he is?
I told him I would rather leave or be with someone who doesn’t have to control himself every day and he just said what’s the difference? Is the difference not safety? Is it not peace? Is it not comfort? Is it not freedom from ‘what might he do today’?
Am I wrong? Should I be ‘healing myself’ to basically train myself to accept his behaviours whatever they may be?

I recently made a post about my G37 not starting due to negative cold weather here in Chicago I have a 2009 G37 recently it has been a week now since the car has turned on got the battery out and tested bad battery so I bought a new one just went to install the battery and tried to start the car nothing all I hear is a single click sound when I do try to start it could this be a bad starter? What else can I know for sure it is a starter? tomorrow I will be lifting the car to see if it is the starter and even banging it as I’ve seen that helps start it any ideas?

I’m making a creole seasoning blend for some experimental pasta I’m about to cook, the recipe calls for 1tbsp of black pepper & 1tbsp of white pepper but all they had at the store was a peppercorn medley. It has black, white, green , & pink peppercorns, coriander seeds, & allspice berries. Can I just sub the pepper for two tablespoons of this stuff or will it clash with the creole vibe?
