A few minutes after 20:00 my husband and I heard a shockingly loud sound that, honestly, seemed like it was inside, except there's nothing inside that could make a sound like that. But we can't find anything that could account for it, so maybe it was outside? I described it as a loud bang, like something smacking into something else; he said it seemed percussive. Anyone else hear that lol?

Recently Ive been coding a mod for minecraft 1.6.4, Ive started to create tile entities but I need a software that can create the models for that version, Ive found blockbench but that doesn't support older versions of minecraft, I tried to download techne but I cant get the files because their servers arent online anymore
Does anyone know of any other options besides updating?

Hi everyone!
Long time lurker, first time posting. I've sewn on and off for years, I'd say I'm a little more experienced than a beginner. Most of what I've made I've just winged it without a pattern, and most pieces have turned out a little janky but wearable lol.
I wore this mesh dress to a wedding, and I want to sew it into seperates. I'm not sure how to tackle it! The lining is only sewn in under the armpits. Presumably I should remove that before cutting the dress, and then cut the lining again to fit the top and skirt? But I'm worried about compromising the integrity of the mesh.
I only have a regular sewing machine, no overlocker! Any advice is greatly appreciated! 😊

I got a crappy Insignia sounbar for a five-year work anniversary gift, and it just started giving me problems.
Prior to this, just before acting up, my old Fire TV 4K stick wrapped the bed. Wonderful evening.
Anyway, when I switch it to use the Optical input, instead of the indicator light flashing green, it started blinking Green, Red, and Blue. I cannot find what this means anywhere.
Help would be appreciated.

2025.01.25 04:30 tomj834 PotPlayer Update Resets all settings and bookmarks
There was a notification of a new update, exited the window immediately because the last two times it reset all of my settings and wiped out basically all my bookmarks, despite having back ups it reverted them to a random previous date from 8 months ago. Either way Potplayer reset.
I love the software but if every update wipes out all settings despite saving back ups of the .ini and reg file then there’s no point in using it.
If no one has a fix for this issue then i’m looking for other software officially, this is ridiculous.

Here’s the kicker.. her boyfriend is my cousin. The accusation was made a few years ago, and the thought of someone thinking I would flirt with my own family is literally so repulsive.
Ever since that day, I’ve been struggling to feel comfortable around any of my friends’ husbands or boyfriends, terrified they might get the same idea. The thought of my friends even suspecting I’d flirt with their partner is something I’d never want them to feel. But knowing my own best friend believed that.. it has completely shaken my confidence in how I interact with people, specifically men in relationships. Now, I find myself overthinking everything—avoiding eye contact, barely speaking to their husbands, and holding back out of fear that someone else might jump to the same conclusion.
It’s exhausting constantly second-guessing if I’m being too friendly. How can I move past these intrusive thoughts? Just to be clear, I would never engage in anything that would destroy a happy couple. I’m a lot of things, but homewrecker is not one of them. And also (if this wasn’t already obvious), no I wasn’t flirting with my cousin, despite what my friend accused me of. I just want to get back to enjoying fun, confident conversations without overthinking everything—no matter who I’m talking to.

2025.01.25 04:30 InternationalLab7855 How would the concept of masking apply to image-based CNNs? Would you have to do it at training time, or could you convert one that was trained without it?
I'm trying to think this through and having trouble searching for academic answers. Let's say you trained a CNN for image classification on 50x50 RGB images, and it could recognize firetrucks. It seems to me that a network trained in that way would contain the knowledge that if there are no red pixels, it's probably not a firetruck - maybe even if you only gave it 40 of the RGB values rather than the whole 2500, if there were a good way to represent that. I know you could randomize a certain percentage of pixels, and that would be like masking, but it would also probably cause a lot of false positives (e.g. applying that masking to a picture that didn't contain a firetruck could introduce enough red pixels that it's no longer sure).
Are there standard ways of masking with CNNs? Can CNNs that are already trained handle them, or do you need to train it explicitly for the masking?
