I’m a sophomore in highschool (been playing 3 years) and I feel like I’ll never be able to catch up to my friends. We recently had all county and they all made first chair for the instrument (v1,v2,viola) it’s rlly frustrating because I want to get to the same level as them but I just have no idea how to take their skill. Does anyone have a really effective practice/warmup routine to help me get better? (Also for context I’m playing popper 22,36 Bach 3 prelude and gigue and Brahms e minor)

I get my parts from AliX.
I recently got a case I wanted to change the chapter ring on. The original listing didn't state a size, so I measured it with calipers, and found one that seemed to be correct, but turned out just a hair too small. As well as being a slightly different shape on the inside.
Any suggestions on how to search for a chapter ring that fits? Or do you just have to order from the same manufacturer as the case? Searching for "chapter ring x mm" seems to be a bit ineffective.
