Occasionally I’ll match with a lady who I have instant rapport with, we seem to have similar interests and tastes and our conversation flows effortlessly and we allude to having a date and then suddenly abruptly I never hear from them again.
They will send me a whole thoughtful paragraph that reads something like
“Omg your dog is so adorable! I bet they would be best buddies with my girl because she loves smaller dogs and treats them like her puppies. That’s so cool you listen to [local band] as well, I bet they'll be massive one day because they're so talented and they put on the best show - I think they have one coming up next week maybe that's a first date idea haha. Wait you lived in the Rocky Mountains? ! I’ve always wanted to go to Canada, maybe you can teach me how to ski (fair warning I will be like Bambi on ice skates) and in exchange I’ll teach you some Spanish”
So naturally I will think damn maybe my ship has finally come in and I've found a cool person (I only swipe on women I find really physically attractive so at that point they seem to tick all the boxes)
...
Almost inevitably they will suddenly just stop replying and I can’t help but wonder what in the hell happened?
What are the chances that they matched with someone in the space of an hour or so who is so much better that they dropped all their other conversations?
I know it could be any number of reasons possibly unrelated to me , maybe something happened in their life or they got an abusive message and decided to ditch dating apps for a while but it’s still extremely weird to me
But If they just wanted validation then why go to all the effort of sending long thoughtful messages ?
Eventually you just feel like a clown for even allowing yourself to get excited about anything, but if you don’t then online dating becomes the most boring miserable experience ever
In fact the more boring conversations are usually the ones that lead to dates if I push for it (I don’t bother anymore but I used to)
Does anyone have any insight?
How do you just brush this off time after time without getting burnt tf out?

Chances are you wouldn't be readinf this if you did, but thought id ask anyway.
Recently finally got rid of treatment-resistant tinea. "Only" took 6 months, trialing 6 medications to find one that worked, many spend on GP and dermatologists, two false diagnosis...never had skin issues before. A bit too much for me tbh.

2025.01.25 04:30 14MTH30n3 Today I had a 120 miles trip and had battery showing 180 miles available. After about 20 minutes a screen popped up saying that charging is requires to finish the trip.

I ignored it and it was able to complete the trip with about 60 miles to spare. Does anybody know why that screen popped up? The temperature was in the 40s outside, but I’m not certain if this impacts the miles calculation.

Someone a bit ago posted about the Sistema salad dressing containers fitting into the AeroPress so I wanted to follow up on that, especially because I wasn't certain they would fit within the Go (I understand it's slightly smaller?). Anyway, I wanted to give them credit but couldn't find the post, so if anyone knows of it, please give them their due.
Anyway, the point here: I went ahead and bought them (link below) and they do, indeed, fit within the AeroPress Go (well, three of them, anyway). Rather perfectly, in fact. And each one holds a lightly heaping scoop--just a hair less than what I'd prefer, but pretty darn close. (I haven't measured weight.)
So just a PSA for anyone wanting to hit the road with a Go and a few refills in tow. (You'll also have to get hot water from somewhere, so it's not going to brew your perfect cup, but hey.)

2025.01.25 04:30 Timothy-M7 symmetry should get a few buffs, just increasing the duration of revolution, and giving anti barrier rounds would be more than enough.

I mean just those two buffs would make it on line of other exotic primaries because with anti barrier rounds would make it able to pierce anti barrier champions and elemental shielded targets so you can lead precision hits and make it easier to build dynamic charges, and increasing the duration of revolution from 8 seconds to lets say 12 seconds would be incredible
since it's alt firing mode has the slowest RPM of any exotic primary in the game, and with max stacks it does sound like a compact handheld auto cannon so increasing the duration would make up for it, the more charges you have the higher the duration
another buff idea is making when dealing damage with the alt firing mode gives bolt charges, or apply jolt, or whenever you apply jolt on a target you get 3-4 dynamic charges so it goes well with an arc subclass or whenever you apply jolt from another weapon.
