Currently have a 5800x with a 3080 and managed to snag a 9800x3d, Im having doubts but don't have clear numbers on if its worth upgrading. I'm looking to get the 5080 and did not want to get CPU bottlenecked, but when I see tests being ran on a 5800x3d it wasn't a big difference in performance.
I play on 1440p ultra for reference, do you guys think this is a worthwhile upgrading keeping in mind I would need to change my Mobo as well to switch to AM5 or should I wait.

I have huge eyes and get so many creases under eye that I am almost reluctant to apply any concealer. I am not a pro at makeup but I have never used a setting powder and I have heard that it helps with creases. Suggest me an affordable, beginner friendly option please so that I can test it out. I recently had my first technical interview for a structural engineering position, and I’m a bit worried about how I did. The interview lasted about two hours with two senior engineers.
The first half focused on my background, experience, and personality (I’m a grad structural engineering student with a few months of work experience), and I think I did great in that part.
When it came to the technical questions, I answered the first one pretty well but needed some guidance from them—like they asked follow-up questions that helped me get to the answer. For the second question, I didn’t fully get to the right conclusion, but I gave good insights and reasoning. The third question was straightforward, and I answered it without any issues.
After the technical questions, one of the interviewers said “good job” as we moved back to HR-related questions. They mentioned I might hear back around February 10th (about 20 days after the interview) and asked me to let them know if I receive an offer from another company. They didn’t phrase it as, “let us know if you’re taking another offer,” which seemed a bit different to me.
Here are my questions: 1. Is it normal for candidates not to answer every technical question perfectly? 2. Does the phrase “let us know if you get an offer from another company” mean anything specific? 3. Overall, what’s your take on the situation?
I’d love to hear from anyone who’s been through similar interviews or has insights. Thanks!

So there is this tv-show that came out 3 years ago and I became absolutely obsessed with it. It clicked with me on every level and I could never stop thinking about it ever since. But its gotten to the point where I feel like its become an un-healthy and toxic obsession. Like I can't disassociate it from my life.
Now Season 2 came out and it is so bad, it feels like a tragedy just struck me. I keep trying to tell myself, "Dude its just a tv-show, what is wrong with you?" But I can't get this empty feeling out of my chest. I want to vent about it so much to everyone but it feels like the most petty and pathetic thing. A man crying over a piece of entertainment. I really dont want to feel this way. People have been through worse. Heck even I have been through worse.
I want to understand this. Is it just a case of a guy who got too close to a freaking tv-show for no reason? I wanna hear your thoughts.

I've just started my whiskey journey, tried a few bottles (Blair Athol flora and fauna, Glenmorangie 10y, lagavulin 16y, Glenfarclas Christmas edition, Talisker sea cask of some description) but now I'm trying to put together a bit more of a balanced 'library' of essential drinking, partially so I have some options to offer guests, partially to get a better understanding of the differences.
Looking for recommendations on what you'd consider a staple or great value. Bonus points to Australian themed answers because often these lists skew towards what's available/good value in the US or otherwise and the pricing can be very different here.
Bonus hot take: I actually really like the Blair Athol flora and fauna, it hasn't had the best reviews but I think it's a lovely cross roads of mellow and spicy. Maybe that makes it a great beginner whisky but perhaps the appeal drops off as you explore more intense flavours.

Okay so I don't know if I'm allowed to make like a whole question thing but I actually can't talk about this to anyone in real life and I need an outside opinion.
Im pretty sure I'm either asexual or aegosexual which falls under that umbrella but I can't tell if I'm aromantic or not, I've seen a whole bunch of different contradicting takes on it and I kind of just got confused instead
I get crushes on people I'm close to like my friends but I can't see myself in a relationship with them. Yes I want to kinda want to date them but at the same time I don't think anyone matches how I feel, I don't want to get freaky, I don't want to kiss a lot of the time and I really just want to be able to relate to someone, have a connection, and talk about silly things we like..Which is bassically just a friend?
What I was confused about though is I relate to a lot of what describes a romantic relationship, I like hugs, I like to cuddle, I like being close to people and just generally it makes me feel happier. Also I don't want to grow up and die alone so I guess that's a factor
Anyway I'm really sorry if this is confusing I'm also really confused myself and I plan to delete this entire account in like a week, if someone is like experienced in this topic please help? I can try to clarify stuff more too ^
