2025.01.25 04:30 Wise_Square_4781 Replacing tweeter diaphragm help
 | I am in the process of replacing the old, dirty speaker diaphragm that covered my NHT 2.5 silk tweeter domes. I have successfully taken off the previous diaphragm, and now I am in the process of putting on the new ones, yet I am stuck. There were two small copper wires that were connected to the previous diaphragm’s voice coil that are heavily glued down to the tweeter. There are also two silver wires coming out of the new diaphragm that are connected to the voice coil. What should I do here? My inclination is to solder these two wires together and glue the diaphragm down, but I am worried about the excess wire touching other metal and messing up the connection to the voice coil. I was having some problems with permissions regarding the path, so I made some mistakes and ended up running this command:
icacls "C:\Users(myusername)" /reset /T
This fixed the issues I was having but now it's as if I'm a guest account. Note I only have one account on my computer. But I have three directories under users: my main, TEMP, and Public. Currently I am stuck in TEMP. How do I switch to my main?

I've had plenty of encounters with mods who take the game more seriously than real life. They put more effort in their virtual job than their real one. Some of them even abuse their mod status and power and instead of being a role model or being someone to look up to they act obnoxious and annoying. As a personal experience I was kicked for asking someone (who I didn't know was a mod) to mute their mic. I know everyone hates people who blast music in their mic. I asked them that doing it was annoying. They told me to mute them, but I told them that they can enjoy their music without being a public annoyance. I was then kicked.

I was playing the omelette challenge run and had a nice ceremonial dagger setup for lots of eggy mult. I got a constellation early and was set!
Bought a few planets before obliviously killing constellation with the dagger. Not smart of me!
However, I was lucky enough to find a vampire pretty soon after that blunder, and I had a decent amount of enhanced cards so that was my backup strategy to get my mult mult.
You’ll never guess what happened next! I killed the vampire with the ceremonial dagger. I simply did not learn my lesson.
At this point I basically accepted the run was over. I’d gotten a few temperances though with high value eggs so I had money to burn on rerolls. So I desperately rolled, and what do you know I found a hologram!
Run saved! Until I accidentally killed the hologram. Honestly pretty funny at that point. Surely, this was the run over, after shooting myself in the foot with the same gun (knife) three times.
Somehow, with the help of a Mr. Bones and a final ante card shark I managed to pull through and beat the challenge! The emotional whiplash was insane though. Idk if my heart can handle doing more ceremonial dagger runs it’s so powerful but so easy to mess up (for me at least).
Anyone else accidentally mass murder their jokers like a fool? I am constantly forgetting to rearrange jokers when I need to, and the dagger is especially unforgiving 🥲

A me capita spesso. Tipo anche ora mi sono appena svegliato da un sogno in cui mi baciavo con una ragazza (con cui mi baciai davvero anni fa, senza andare oltre purtroppo) e mi sento quasi "innamorato" di lei in questo momento. Questa sensazione poi andrà a scemare durante il giorno e stasera non me ne fregherà più niente.
Non succede quando sogno di scopare, mi succede solo quando sogno di baciare una ragazza che mi sveglio e poi ci resto innamorato per ore.
Qualche volta che mi succede questa cosa durante la giornata riscrivo a queste ragazze, ma poi non é che concludo niente eh, si finisce con un "se passo di lí quindi ci prendiamo un caffé" ma non "passo mai di lí" alla fine. A maggior ragione ora che sono fidanzato, non si concluderebbe niente.
Comunque mi succede sempre con ragazze che mi sono piaciute tanto ma con cui non ho potuto avere una storia romantica per varie casualità della vita, e magari mi ci sono anche davvero baciato nella realtà.
Per gli psicologi: perché succede? Che significa
Per tutti gli altri: quanto é comune sta cosa? A voi succede? Cosí o in altri modi?

Hi there, recently started renting from a “condo” in what is effectively an apartment building - it’s cold here in Boston, and our unit wont get above 56 F on cold nights. Our landlord is not helpful, and keeps telling me to bleed the baseboard heaters.
I have no experience with this and cannot find the bleed valves that are shown in most youtube videos I’ve seen… the pipe goes around our unit and into the adjacent apartment with no valves other than some at the start, where it comes up from the ground below us (see photo).
I opened then red valve a number of times and drained the water from it, but no hissing or anything was noticeable. Can anyone provide insight as to what I should try?! Major thanks in advance 🙏
