 | Hi, I’m fairly new to vinyl collecting and just upgraded my turntable to a Fluance RT85. I’ve also purchased a vintage Rotel RX-300 receiver on FB Marketplace and connected via phono input. Problem is, I’m not getting any sound and tried both phono inputs. My speakers are Klipsh R-51M and they’re connected with banana plugs to speaker cables. Am I missing something or could I have a faulty receiver? I shouldn’t require an amp with this receiver right? I live in west Reno, and our (newer) neighborhood has been dealing with the smell of sewage recently. The HOA is trying to figure it out, but I have also noticed it around town in random areas too. Is anyone else noticing this? Curious if anyone else's neighborhood experienced this because our HOA roads are private, so the city can't really help the neighborhood.

Em 2 de Janeiro, introduzimos o sistema de Gemas Lightforge, que podem ser coletadas ao abrir as Caixas Lightforge e utilizadas para obter os prêmios da Coleção Lightforge de sua escolha.
Desde que estas mudanças foram ao ar, recebemos muito feedback positivo e sugestões para melhorias futuras. Portanto, planejamos manter o sistema de Gemas Lightforge atual.

Sou natural de SC, meus pais moram no Vale do Itajaí e eu tenho bastante vontade de retornar pra região. Eu não posso falar sobre isso abertamente aqui no DF pq posso perder oportunidades aqui, e até pra me preparar para um eventual concurso público, gostaria de saber de quem tá trabalhando com UTI hoje em SC, como está o mercado? Existe demanda? O título agrega ou estão contratando plantonistas sem? Quais hospitais tem uma demanda grande?

2025.01.25 04:10 fairlyaround Waiting to get the EMG and PFT; how to manage symptoms until I can get both done?
Hi yall, please delete if not allowed!
So, 23 days ago as of today (So January 1st, 2025), I began experiencing burning pain and numbness in my outer right thigh. Okay, i mean it hurts and feels strange, but no biggie, I'll be okay, right? Wrong!
A week after that, so 16 days ago as of today (so January 8, 2025), same thing started happening with my outer left thigh. Now, by this point, I'm beginning to get a little concerned, as my right thigh's pain and numbness has not yet gone away. So, I went to my PCP, we did bloodwork, and it all came back normal, with the exception of my vit D levels. Which, to clarify, has been low for years, I live in the Northeastern US, that's not exactly an uncommon occurrence in this region's population lol. So, he ordered for me to get an EMG done and put in a referral to a neurologist. Months prior to this, I'd been having constant chest pain and coughing til the point I gag and vomit, so they put in an order for a pulmonary function test.
And to this day, neither thigh has gotten better, and instead (I think at least) has gotten worse. The coughing has let up a bit (I jokingly like to think that my lungs were like "lets allow the thigh pain to steal the show haha"), but it's not by much.
I'm hoping to get these two tests done within the next two months, while I'm on spring break from college, or I'll call my PCP's office Monday and see if I can get the general test orders, and not the ones for the specific hospitals back home (I'm from Massachusetts, go to college in Maine) so I can get them done up here near my college.
We're suspecting it might be GBS, as my mom had mono at a young age and it might have reactivated itself without symptoms during my childhood or even recently, so it's possible I could have gotten it by sharing a drink with her or something, and Mono has connections to the onset of GBS in some cases. I've also had COVID twice in the past and the flu once, which I learned can also trigger symptoms of GBS.
There are also other symptoms (low/uncontrollable bp and high heartrate among other things). But regardless, my main question is how do I manage the thigh pain until I can get the EMG done?

Hello everyone, so today at about 9:30 I had my surgery to remove all four of my wisdom teeth removed and they told me no vaping for a minute of 72 hours but since I’m probably going to do it anyways to use extra light suction. I was put under shortly after and that’s the biggest thing that happened prior that I have forgotten. So my question is it’s only been about 12 hours, is it safe to try and take a small hit with low suction because my cravings are killing me?
