I'm guilty of this as I don't have much time and energy but I try my best to put my tutor's corrections and words into Anki.
However I have to say I do have a backlog of lessons that I haven't reviewed. I definitely feel bad and guilty when I show up to lessons doing the bare minimum. Outside of lessons, I try and watch stuff in my TL..
How do you feel if a student doesn't review the tutor's corrections in a timely manner and continues to take lessons?

(17, Junior) I was the "weird kid" in grade school. To cope with very personal issues I tried anything, no matter how embarrassing to get a laugh out of someone. I'm constantly reminded of what I wish to forget. Those who didn't know me then (seniors/faculty) respect me and treat me properly, while people in my own grade ignore me and purposefully leave me out because of how I was 7 years ago. I never did anything over the top back then, but I am having multiple people say to my face that they are scared of me and scared of what I would do if I got into any school leadership position. Every time I try to reason with anyone, even little "friendgroups" I'm apart of, they laugh and say "yea right". The worst encounter was when a new girl I was about to ask to dance pulled up a video of me doing a weird tiktok dance (sent by her friend) and refused to dance because she was weirded out by it.
I understand that college will be different. I am haunted by the fact that videos and rumors of me have spread to those I don't know, shaping an image of me, ruining any potential I had in creating friendships with them.

2025.01.25 04:02 kthx_bai Feeling worse after each Cosentyx injection

Has anyone else had this or does it sound like a bad reaction? I’m on Cosentyx (along with a temporary prednisone taper for pain). I’ve been feeling bad for like 1 week every time I do an injection. I just finished the loading dose a few days ago and I was in hell all day yesterday. I had a horrible migraine all day that ibuprofen wouldn’t touch and every time I do an injection my stomach ends up killing me 1-2 days later. I almost went to the ER because I was in so much pain but I knew they wouldn’t do anything. I woke up today feeling much better but I’m still so fatigued. I’ve been writing all this down and my derm says it doesn’t sound normal so he wants me to stop the Cosentyx. He’s going to talk to my rheumatologist about all this, but I’m heartbroken because I had to fight to get this medication. And I’m also heartbroken because he’s the most compassionate doctor I’ve ever had but he told me my case is kinda out of his hands because it sounds like I have something “more” going on (at least he was honest)
He wants me to see university doctors at RUSH or UChicago which is fair. I’m just really upset because the Cosentyx genuinely has been helping my skin, just not the pain. And I feel like I have to start from square one again.

Ruffles is about 9 months old. He’s a long haired chocolate and he suffers from moderately serious dandruff. I decided to start feeding him higher end dog food (blue buffalo) when I got him (3ish months old) thinking it might help. Everything was fine until I left him with my roommate while I went home for a couple weeks and he couldn’t get his regular food and bought some jams to fill the gap. Now he won’t eat his regular food unless hes starving but if he gets a look at the iams he immediately starts eating.
I’d like him to eat the higher end stuff but it seems he prefers the taste of the other. How do I proceed?
