Preface: I do not have TTW installed.
I downloaded an installed the "It's a Dogs world" Dogmeat overhaul mod and I already love how it works but as soon as I fast travelled his eyes are sticking out the side his head.
The author of the mod said he fixed it but that was ages ago and I'm unsure what to do. Has anyone else found a fix? I'm fine to try and replace meshes whatever.

Quick and dirty question, sorry to make a whole thread about it but I can't get the answer online.
I know there's a way to see the garden room from the beginning on Exile in Revelations, I've even done it once before. It's that door in the back of the garden study with the incubator machines. But every time I try now that door is locked. Is there something you have to do to get that door to open that maybe I did by accident last time? This is so weird.

2025.01.26 07:11 Prince_Mince Was I too hard on my players/how to run players getting chased?
Some background: my players are practically kill on sight to a certain mega corp. They docked on a station to refuel and ask around for info. Eventually a detective working for that same megacorp started tailing them and even asked them some questions. They snuck on his ship, found out a swat team was coming. Before flying away, they went off on a side objective, meanwhile swat super soldier breaches into the wall of the station.
The issue: the players enter the hangar with the soldier on their tails. The soldier aims at player 1, he passed a speed check (and I do player facing rolls) so he takes no damage. Pilot makes a speed roll, fails, engine won't start. Swat agent pulls out a grenade. 4 out of 4 players running to the ship fail their speed rolls, take considerable damage from frag. 2 out of 4 fail another speed check, get shot, one dies.
In hindsight, I asked for too many speed checks. However this was the only combat of the session, the players ran in a straight line away from a guy with a gun, and wasted time before he showed up.
If I could do anything different I should have communicated the danger better. But how would you run a chase? Right now this is my method
Speed check fail: things get worse, maybe damage or drop something, etc. Then, do another speed check.
Speed check success: you escape.
This feels a little boring and restrictive for the players.

If you didn’t go around calling my friends slurs and being proud of your bigotry we wouldn’t need to call you out and defend ourselves. Yeah you got freedom of speech here, but that just means Uncle Sam won’t come after you. It doesn’t save you from the consequences of your actions or your neighbors calling you out for the jackass you are.
You can keep your god damn opinions and fears, just leave the rest of us out of it. Go ahead, isolate yourself and close your heart to the rest of the world. We don’t need you. You’re more than welcome to scurry back to that hole you crawled out of and leave the rest of us to carry on our lives in peace.
You should be afraid, you should be ashamed of what you stand for. There’s way more of those “others” than you realize and we’re god damn tired of being beaten down and walked all over. Have the life you deserve, you miserable excuse of a man.

The 2 main arguments they always use are "ace's will and devil fruit" but if those were valid arguments you could argue that sabo has to be the one to beat Blackbeard too. Ace's journey in the current story was about beating blackbeard. How about sabo inherit that will? He already beat one of his crew members and then blackbeard attacked baltigo so they have history at least and BB wanna be part of the wg, the enemies of the revs, then there's the devil fruit argument. When ace and BB fought,blackbeard said "darkness vs flaming light only one can win" how about sabo beat blackbeard to prove that the flaming light can win against darkness...yes darkness already won but Cleary they don't care because they think flame can overcome magma when its canonically impossible.

2025.01.26 07:11 Shmorbi Fabric 1.21.4 keeps crashing
Every time i try to launch it, it just crashes and spits out an error messages with stuff like, “Mod discovery failed”, “Zip end header not found. It launches normally without anything in the mods folder but when i put even one mod in it crashes.
Ive tried reinstalling fabric and the minecraft launcher itself, but no luck. Any help would be appreciated, (i play on a mac, if that helps).

I’m getting married tomorrow and my narcissistic aunt just tried to ruin my wedding by creating chaos because what else would she do?
This aunt has a long history of accepting invitations to events and then creating some elaborate story days or sometimes hours before to not come. However, she seemed excited enough this time and I thought maybe it was an important enough milestone for me so she will finally show up.
Keep in mind I’ve been talking to her about the wedding frequently. She showed me her dress, asked for directions to find the venue, asked me to invite her sons (originally only her was invited because I don’t have a strong enough relationship with them and because we are having a small wedding). We invited her months ago and until yesterday I would never have guessed what has transpired in the last 24 hours.
My aunt messaged me to ask me to invite her mother, a very ill and fragile lady who’s 92 y/o. I said yes and that I needed to check with the venue to accommodate her. Her mom uses a wheelchair and she travels with a nurse, so it wouldn’t be only her but also the nurse that I had to make room and get food for. I spent hours trying to figure things out with the venue folks, keep in mind this is happening 2 DAYS before the wedding.
After that initial message she then said “no no, sorry for asking it was rude from me to ask you that so close to the date” she went silent (didn’t answer messages or phone calls) for more than 12 hours… but the she sent a message to the group chat with all the guests saying she wouldn’t attend but said nothing to me directly. I message her again thinking something bad happened, I was so worried about her.
Then she finally replies back and tells me that she's deeply offended me could not tolerate anyone making her beg for her mom to attend any event, she never had to beg btw, oh and he adds that she still loves me but that it was a very rude thing for me to do even when i was tolo by her before many many times of the fragile state of her mom and how difficult it was for her to be outside. I told her that I was trying to be mindful of her condition and that it was a very hurtful thing to do that I was disappointed of her actions. She then proceeded to tell me that I was "closed minded" and that she was not going to attend because I didn't not deserved her presence and that I was "not that young anymore".
I should be sleeping right now but needed to write this down somewhere to make sense of what happened.
