2025.01.26 07:18 BTK47 Ryzen 5600GT Temperaturas Altas ( +90° Instalando Programas )
Hace poco me compre un Ryzen 5 5600GT y una Mother Asus B550.
El problema es que levanta muchísima temperatura en reposo sin nada abierto unos 60° a 65° y jugando por Ej. Back 4 Blood llega hasta 75° a 80°, también me di cuenta que cuando instalo algo se llega a apagar porque llega a 95°. ¿será algún problema del procesador?
Tengo el cooler de stock con la pasta térmica que viene pre aplicada, ya probé desactivando el turbo boost que tiene desde la Bios como vi en algunos videos para mejorar la temperatura pero sigue igual.
Ahora estoy por comprar un Cooler y Pasta térmica para ver si cambia algo. ¿alguna recomendación de algún cooler bueno y barato?. Pensaba en un Id-cooling Se-224-xts o Id-cooling Se-903-xt
Desde ya si alguien sabe que puede estar pasando se lo agradezco de antemano.

5 months ago, I tried smoking weed for the first time with a close friend of mine , he was smoking recreationally and I thought he was experienced enough to guide me.
We went to his place where he had everything set for our session and for my first time .When I did it I didn't feel a lot from it outside of it making me really paranoid but I was still curious about it.
The more I smoked the more I felt odd but he keeps telling to keep going and at one point I reached the summit of my paranoia and felt my thoughts racing so fast that I couldn't keep up so much that I felt something snapped in my brain , that's when I knew that something bad had happened to me. After that everything went a complete 180.
I was in schock , I felt like I broke my mind and I wouldn't never be the same . I felt so vulnerable as if I were naked and there was nothing to protect me.
I told my friend what happened and he told me that it was normal that him and his friends went through the same thing and I didn't have to worry, that it was the start of my new life , that I ascended and had my second awakening, he told now I was a divergent and the others were just normies that we were made to lead them.
I was dumbfounded, he really believed what he was saying and in my weak mental state and a need of reassurance, I believe him.
He told me we had unlimited potential and weed allowed us to investigate ourselves and reach deep part of our consciousness. The more he went on the more I realised how psychotic he was.
Not long after that , I started to realise that I derive less and less pleasure from my everyday activities and hobbies, he told me it was because it was a lower state pleasure and now that I ascended it could not reach me . I believe him.
The more the time went the more I started to see inconsistencies in what he was but anytime I bring it up he told me that we don't question certain things because it was dangerous.
I took a break off of him and started to focus on my mental health . It took me about 2 months to come to reality and realise what just happened and it was my first introduction to anhedonia.
When I told him about he told me it was just depression and it wasn't his faults I was reacting badly to the truths of life ( that's what he called his delusions).
I was so disgusted, I trusted him with my life and he put me in hell , he knew exactly what he was doing , he manipulated into following him , he told me he always wanted to show me the other said and what we were living was the truth of life.
I know the way I'm telling the story makes it lightly but I told this story so many time that I think I lost my edge , anyway now I'm left with a broken friend and lost a "friend".
The thing I want to know is whatever it was his fault or mine for me to fall into this situation. I keep ruminating everything, telling myself if only he had told me what lies ahead I could have avoided but he only mentioned it when it was too late when I was f*cked just like him.
I haven't done this story justice here but my anhedonia made it so I lost some of my writing skills.
What do you guys think ?

Hey!! I'm taking exercise seriously this year but I really don't know what I'm doing and I need help.
I haven't consistently worked out since hs, and it's my goal this year to get back in the gym, with the goal for strength, mobility training and healthy bulking.
I want the aesthetic of being bulky, but it's deeper than that: I have chronic issues with on and off EDs and self esteem. Having a goal that will help me conquer these and achieve a healthy lifestyle while meeting an aesthetic goal is just what I need.
I'm a 5'8, 23yrF, lean and weigh roughly 130lbs.
What are your recommendations/resources for strength and bulking?

2025.01.26 07:18 TheSilverSmith47 How CPU inference speed scales with memory bandwidth
 | It's well known in the community by now that inference speed is currently memory bandwidth limited. I wanted to get hands-on experience with this bottleneck, so I set out to do test the CPU inference speed of my laptop at various memory bandwidths. My laptop is an MSI GP66 11UH-028. It has an Intel 11800H, 64GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM, and an 8GB mobile 3080 (although the GPU is not important for this test). To control the memory bandwidth of my system, I set a memory frequency limit in my BIOS. Unfortunately, there is no way to set a custom memory frequency limit, so I had to use the frequency limit presets built into my BIOS. Thankfully, there were plenty of frequency limit presets to choose from. To validate the frequency of my RAM, I used CPU-Z and multiplied the memory frequency by two. https://preview.redd.it/wbhwk7b2fafe1.png?width=396&format=png&auto=webp&s=b2f92d3408ec5c7cce23c016d345649f83bc929f I'm not sure why CPU-Z reads the frequency as half of what it actually is. When I set my frequency limit to 3200 MHz, the DRAM frequency read ~1600 MHz; when set to 2667 MHz, it read ~1333 MHz. I'm not sure why this is, but it did it consistently enough that I was comfortable using these values for my measured RAM frequency. You can calculate the theoretical maximum memory bandwidth of your system using the formula found on this website. To validate the memory bandwidth of my system, I used Intel's Memory Latency Checker. https://preview.redd.it/6tlc0nqufafe1.png?width=549&format=png&auto=webp&s=6bb514350affe3e2a76a12653cc58e48f64a48c0 The test measured many different values, but the only value I was interested in was the peak injection memory bandwidth. I then loaded Qwen2.5-0.5B-Q8 into KoboldCPP using my CPU, FlashAttention, and a context length of 4096. I ran an inference 10 times and recorded the total inference rate for each output. I then averaged the inference rate and repeated this test for the various RAM frequency configurations. I'm pretty satisfied with these results because they show linear scaling of inference speed with memory frequency. Next I plan to do the same test with my iGPU to see if it will also benefit from higher memory speeds. Then I'll do the same for my dGPU by underclocking and overclocking my VRAM in MSI Afterburner. If anyone has a Ryzen AI HX 370 CPU, would you be willing to perform the same test that I did for CPU inference? I'm curious to know how that CPU is able to handle a larger LLM (>30b parameters) at high DDR5 frequencies. I am 21M soon 22. I am going to college this year for a Computer Science degree. I finished highschool 4 years ago, and lived and worked in Canada in tech field. Now for some reasons I have the strong urge to go to college and get a bachelors degree because I am moving to Germany for some personal reasons I can't avoid, and a college degree is highly valuable in Germany and you must have one to get a good career there, but i will be 25 by the time I finish college.
All my mates who went to college already graduated or about to graduate, it's making me feel that I will be behind in life if I start college now but also if I do not start college, I will always be behind.
