Hey all, I’m 173 cm (5’8”) and 77kg (170 lbs). I bought my first snowboard last year at a season end closing sale at a small local resort, which is a technine icon 156.
I’m changing my stance (I feel like my ideal is around ~54 cm) but to get to this stance width, I really need to shift both bindings into the centermost holes and slide the disks out as much as possible. Then, when I measure from the center to center of each binding, I find the value to be around 55 cm.
I feel like my stance and weight is kinda common for my size of board but it feels strange having to be so far from the suggested mounting position, and using the very edge mounting holes.
Am I measuring something wrong? Is my board just weird? What is the general minimum or recommended stance width on boards around 156? Am I a total kook for riding 55 cm on a 156?

2025.01.26 07:24 InvestigatorSea7644 My shift is on 28 January morning. I am feeling very depressed
So I started my journey for jee in class 11 now was doing good I was from one of the toppers from my coaching. At the starting of 12th I was starting feeling some health issues but I ignore that and continue on my studies and it was good till September. But in October the problem got worse when I consult the doctors they said they have to perform surgery. My surgery happens in the fall of October because of this surgery it take me two months to fully recovered. Because of that now I have a lot of backlog I tried my best and completed my whole syllabus in just last 12 to 13 days but I was unable to revise the whole syllabus because of this now I'm feeling very depressed because before this I used to get 180 to 200 score in my mock test but after this I am not even able to touch 100 properly. I don't known what to do now cause my body and mind is not that focused like it was before everyone expected a lot from me but I think I will not be able to meet there expectations now. Now on 28 January morning is my exam and I am fully depressed.

As of the last couple hours every time I reload my Gatling Plasma it seems to hold less and less ammo. Went from 500 to 400 to now 375 even with only fully charged plasma cores in my inventory. RLCraft Dregora has one of the worst world generation systems of any modpack I’ve played. I’ve spawned 15 times inside a wall out of 75 hardcore runs. The biomes I encounter while exploring are either desert variants or tundra variants, and if I do get anything different, it's either a poison swamp or a parasite biome. Exploration feels like hell. If I do find a temperate biome, it’s usually tiny, and I quickly end up back in yet another desert, tundra, or parasite variant, stretching for another thousand blocks. Battletowers, villages, and other dungeons spawn so rarely that early game feels like a walking simulator. Everything wants to kill you, but you can’t progress because of the lack of dungeons, so you can't fight back. It’s incredibly boring for me.
Why nerf the one interesting part of RLCraft, progression? The only reason I pushed through and beat this inferior version of RLCraft was for personal reasons. I highly recommend anyone who wants to experience RLCraft to play the normal version instead. That’s all for my rant.

Top of morning. The lads and I went out to the driving range - I’ve spent a lot of time practicing my swing with driver and woods.
I got completely iced when I switched up to irons. I realise the butter knife blades (they looked cool okay) iced me. I dunno if I need something more forgiving or if should continue practicing my swing with them.
