Hello, so I’ve been trying to manifest for a while. I don’t technically have a specific person I’ve just been trying to manifest love if that makes sense. I see everyone I know finding their person. the one that fits them and they’re like perfect for each other and they love each other so much they could never think of leaving each other. and I’ve been trying to manifest that type of love for a while but it hasn’t been working. I’ve tried so many techniques and guided meditations but nothing is working. I think it’s because of doubt and I need advice on how to control that doubt. I overthink a lot about most things. I’m a huge overthinker. Everytime I try to affirm I contradict myself and I haven’t really figured out how to control those thoughts and just focus on the affirmations. Does anyone have any advice how to stop those negative thoughts or just how to successfully manifest while having those thoughts?

I added a new video capture source and one of the options was my iPhone. It wasn’t connected with a chord of anything. Anyway, I accidentally exited out of the whatever app was open on my phone and now when I try to add it as a video capture source, my phone doesn’t show up anymore. How do I get that option back? So, to start, EFSC student doing 2+2 into UCF. I require 13 credits to graduate. One of which is a humanities survey course.
Now the course seems easy enough, it doesn’t seem to require a lot of knowledge, and it’s a survey course about creativity. It won’t be difficult.
Important info- Week 1 the Canvas calendar was all fucked up. Had some October and November due dates, but most modules centered around starting Thursday after class and due the following Friday(so 8 days.) Syllabus states “Homework will be due weekly on Friday and is 20% of the grade.” This was how it was setup during add drop period.
Yesterday I get an email asking me not to complete the next weeks work as it causes issues with the Canvas due date. But I didn’t do anything ahead- I did the upcoming weeks work(Tues/Thursday class) on Thursday after class.(so I did week 3 homework on Thursday afternoon week 2.)
She has since changed the assignment dates, making them open on Mondays and due the following Friday(so 5 days.) Essentially, we cannot do the homework over the weekend. Can’t even log onto the book to read the chapter. And she did this a full week after Add/Drop ended.
Here’s the problem- I worked full time and have 4 school aged children, as well as attend 3/4 time. I literally have no time during the week to do this. And she didn’t make us aware until after the add drop period.
The instructor… is flat out not listening to me. Keeps saying the due date is in the syllabus and I should have consulted it to determine if I could fulfill reqs for the class. And I did. I even quoted her the portion of the syllabus where it says the due date, not that we only have 5 days and aren’t allowed to work on homework over the weekend. I also pointed out that I showed her issues with the publish and due date the first week, and even showed her we couldn’t complete the work the first week, indicating I most definitely did check the syllabus and the schedule.
She will not budge.
What would you guys do? I don’t want to make a big deal especially if I have to keep this teacher. But like you can’t do that… well you shouldn’t be able to. I understand their syllabus is law but the syllabus makes no mention of only having 5 days, and everything else lead me to believe that week was how class would continue. And she keeps going back to the “syllabus indicates it will be due on Friday; it’s due on Friday.”

I see a lot of supposition that Ricken writes those dopey books ( and he does) but he and Devon live in a beautiful home which is clearly very expensive. In real life it’s a Frank Lloyd Wright home in a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed community.
I think his books sell big-time. The decades of this show range from ‘80s computers to late-model smart phones. His books have very ‘90s wellness/self help vibes when those were very popular no matter how stupid they were.
When Devon is laboring Ricken nearly melts down over Mark having missed the gift of the book, and points out that it’s an advance copy. That means he has an actual publisher. It’s his fifth book, according to Cobel.
I think Rebec and the other acolytes who come to his readings and non-food dinners are local fans or personal friends.
We only see their car from the side at Mark’s, but the silhouette looks like a Range Rover. I don’t see any indication that Devon works outside of the home, and there’s no visible anxiety about the costs of a child. Mrs. Solveg charges for her services. There is costly art throughout their home (which actually belongs to the home IRL).
It’s astonishing that anything Ricken would write would sell to real readers, but it clearly does.
