I often see English notation about time using the " and ' symbols. I have always mistaken about the two, and even their meaning. I'm more used to "01:05:56", for example. I have been considering a career in law enforcement for some time now. I have applied to departments a few times and either withdrew or did not attend part of the hiring process. My life now has put me in the position to be able to fully commit to making the career change and I am worried that my history of backing out of so many processes will seriously affect the outcome of my application. I obviously will be 100% transparent about it in interviews or on a background packet, but does anyone know how it will affect me? Any advice on how I should proceed? Anything is appreciated.

Started taking fluvoxamine just over 3 weeks ago. Just 25mg a day, I have doctors ok to go up to 50 mg a day by now but I don’t want to in case things get worse. The physical side effects dissipated after a week, but it feels like I have a rotating host of mental side effects. Theres been no improvement to my intrusive thoughts, worrying, or mood. I feel down, I have no desire to do much of anything, it’s just frustrating. Is it going to get better? It feels like I’m messing with my head for 0 benefit.

I’ve been a Tacoma owner for a bit now, but I’m very new to the car upgrade business. I have a 2022 Tacoma SR w the SX Package and am looking for a nice front bumper upgrade.
I guess I’m just concerned if it degrades performance at all? In all honestly, it’d be more cosmetic than anything.
What brands are the best? I’ve been researching C4, but are there any other realiale ones?
Should I hire a mechanic to put it on? Or is it doable as a fairly handy guy, but not neccesarily a car guru (I can do an oil change - I’ve never messed with anything more than that though)

I have a finance degree. I am currently working at a firm on a team. Recently passed my SIE. My firm is pushing to start the series 7. I have been battling within myself if this is the best career path for me.
I’m wondering what type of careers / jobs are out there where I can use my finance degree.
I also have other interests than just working on a team for financial advisors. I have realized that planning for events is something I like. I love to be outdoors. I love baking. My dream is to own a bakery / flower shop but I’m not there yet financially. I’m open to hearing suggestions and doing research on different job titles or paths. Im just starting to feel stuck and extremely stressed out - I’m a planner and extremely organized person and it’s hard for me to not know where I’m headed.

Dragon dagger and Saba were out of the box but in good condition, was able to pick them up for the great price. Pink ranger helmet was open box but great shape, had to honor my first childhood crush lol goes perfect next to my white ranger helmet!

- Source/Amp - Wireless, with transmittebase plugging in to the TV.
- How the gear will be used - Purely for TV use
- Preferred tonal balance - Not picky, as long as it compliments TV/movies
- Past gear experience - Sennheiser RS 185. Previously bought these for elderly parents. They appreciated that it was easy to set up, had a long range, that they were open back, and could relatively easily replace the earpads & batteries. I'm hesitant to get the 175/195 as they are closed back and if they notice that, they might not want to use them.

First of all, this is a hypothetical so ‘but they wouldn’t’ doesn’t apply.
In this situation Smaug fled the lonely mountain after being badly wounded by Bard and took up residence in Gundabad where he rules a orcs as their numbers grow post-battle of the five armies.
The balrog is in Moria and has taken a similar leadership role to the Goblins there.
Saruman reaches out to both the Balrog and the dragon and opens a dialogue. Eventually he convinces both of them that it is in their interests to ally and destroy Sauron. Again this is a hypothetical so you will have to assume there is a way to do this. Presumably Smaug is promised plunder and the balrog, well that’s harder to say, revenge against Sauron for something in the past or for taking Morgoth’s title as dark lord after renouncing him?
Saruman proceeds as normal, revealing himself to Gandalf and building his army. He still seeks the ring for himself but suspects he won’t obtain it. He believes that the free peoples will lose to Sauron and that allying himself with Sauron will not be enough to prevent his own demise. Additionally he feels he is best suited to rule middle earth. As such, the best course of action is to take out Sauron, perhaps aided by the free peoples and then conquer or intimidate them also.
Assume that the council of Elrond decide to keep the ring in Rivendell and see if Sauron can first be defeated by arms. Only then will they risk sending the ring to mount doom.
So can Sauron be defeated?
