2025.01.27 04:21 coyote__sunrise Found video of me over sharing during episode on social media

So, long story short - I was having a manic episode and also false memory OCD symptoms after I has smoked weed and I was in a spiral reanalyzing super foggy memories (almost 10 years old) and posted this video along with several others of me sharing way too personal of life details as well as my feelings and thoughts with no filter during my last manic episode in 2023.
I ended up getting in touch with the ex girlfriend this was about and it became obvious that I had imagined she cried in this situation, so that never actually happened, and it became clear it was definitely consentual, but I already pretty much knew that already but was just in a spiral at the time of that video.
We stayed together after that camping trip for months, and stayed loosely in touch for years after that but that situation was more than 8 years ago and that situation never brought up any red flags before this manic episode on my side.
Anyway, what I am wondering is, if you didn't know the context, what would your reaction be to this video? Would you be shocked if you saw this on an instagram story during someones sort of public breakdown or would you just be like wtf? "Why are they tripping over nothing, they're being such an idiot." Or would you be like legitimately concerned?
When i found this video it was archived and said i think 23 people viewed it and 22 people "skipped". And like one person did something else i cant remember. But it sounds like nobody actually watched the whole thing.
I posted other videos where I was talking and thinking about consent and sort of navigating through the nuances of consent while manic and having irrational thinking and my mind was like playing tricks on me.

2025.01.27 04:21 redheeler18 Looking for knowledge

I have a finance degree. I am currently working at a firm on a team. Recently passed my SIE. My firm is pushing to start the series 7. I have been battling within myself if this is the best career path for me.
I’m wondering what type of careers / jobs are out there where I can use my finance degree.
I also have other interests than just working on a team for financial advisors. I have realized that planning for events is something I like. I love to be outdoors. I love baking. My dream is to own a bakery / flower shop but I’m not there yet financially. I’m open to hearing suggestions and doing research on different job titles or paths. Im just starting to feel stuck and extremely stressed out - I’m a planner and extremely organized person and it’s hard for me to not know where I’m headed.

2025.01.27 04:21 sowhathadhappenedwas Frame Generation: interpolation means you are always 1 base frame behind, right?

Hey everyone! I know there are a lot more intelligent people than me on reddit, so I wanted to see if I am understanding this all correctly. After all of the discussion about frame generation, I’ve been trying to learn what this means exactly.
My current understanding of the matter is that a frame is rendered at the time it is supposed to be shown.
Becaue this is the case, in order to show ANY interpolated frames (not extrapolated), you would immediately need to be 1 base frame behind what’s actually been rendered, right? If so, your input latency would necessarily DOUBLE anytime you turn on frame generation, even if your base framerate is the same before and after.
Almost all of the discussion on this seems to suggest that the input latency increase is only because of the base framerate decrease, which misses a this entirely.
Any graph or discussion of input latency compared to native couldn’t possibly be correct unless it shows 2x the input latetency, right? If I am mistaken i would love to know it, it just seems like almost everyone who discusses this misses this point.

2025.01.27 04:21 ToddynhoDocinho Raids need more reasons to play.

Besides the Power grind, raids don't have any reason to complete, people that already have all the loot, titles and gear don't even touch at raids anymore, and i include myself on this. Salvations Edge for an example, the raid is pure empty, because people already have all the stuff, or it's too hard that players don't even want to remembeteach it.
D2 population is not great, and everyone knows that, some stuff REALLY needs replayability, that's why it's difficult to find groups nowadays, there are a lot of stuff that they could do to improve this, XP bonus for weekly raids, more loot, bonus stuff for teaching players and there goes on..
And something that really worries me, is that we are going to get just 1 Raid and 1 Dungeons per year, bungie said they'd improve these activities, but honestly i don't think this will keep people replaying them.
