Does anyone feel that too much time was dedicated to the Sunfire elves when they could have spent it doing other things like elaborating Rayla's departure and the adventures she went on or explaining Terry and making sure his backstory aligned with the fact he was hanging around with elf haters trying to bring back the devil?
It's funny because I've seen some threads criticizing the world building, but I do feel that less time could be devoted to the Sunfire elves and their justice system and rebellions. Even if the Karim arc ended satisfyingly, I think I would have rather the time been spent learning about other parts of Xadia or the spending time with the arch dragons, of which Domina Produndis didn't get any time at all.
I don't mean to be mean, but I don't find the Sunfire elves warranting that much time devoted to them. Especially as the architect arc was really a lowlight of the series for me.
I've seen this complaint voiced before so it can't just be me on this. I'm not saying remove them entirely (like a Dragon Prince minus Sunfire elves edit) but I think that other things in the series warranted more attention than our favorite French elves.

2025.01.27 04:37 RandomDadisms Without a doubt my dumbest pinewood derby car yet.
I have 3 boys and have been active in Cub Scouts for over 8 years. In that time we’ve made 19 pinewood derby cars. The challenge of making fast ones is fun, but we’ve always enjoyed just trying to be creative (and goofy). We’ve had dragons, race cars, police cars, dinosaurs, space ships, fast food, fire trucks, snails and everything in between.
Since my youngest is crossing over next month and this is our very last race I thought I’d waste some time and, just for fun, make the dumbest thing I could think of… me!
*This isn’t my son’s actual car, I did this one just for kicks to put in with the siblings & adults (it came in 2nd out of 3), and later if I go to anything that has an adult race maybe it’ll get a few laughs. Mostly it was an excuse to try out the wood carving knives I got for Christmas and catch up on anime.

I want to get back into gaming after I had a long break. I booted up my old pc to update everything and boy is it slow. I built this pc like 8-ish years ago so it's not the most up-to-date in terms of hardware. I'm fairly certain (but not 100%) I have everything up-to-date in terms of software and drivers. Something/s are making this pc unbearably slow, I just don't know what. I'm hoping someone can see a potential problem with my specs so I can get this pc useable again.
I'm not looking to upgrade everything to the latest and greatest, just enough so I don't have to wait for a click to register or a window to open; not to mention light multitasking.
I'm more than happy to get specifics about hardware/software if need be.
Specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X oc @ 4.10 GHz
T-Force Delta 16 GB DDR4 3000
RTX 4060 8GB
ASUS Rog Strix B450-F gaming mobo
2 x 512GB sata SSD (I think they are hooked in raid, but don't know for sure)

Hi all, I’m about 10 weeks post-op and had my final check in with my doctor about a week ago. He said I’m good to return to normal activity with the exception of very high impact activities liking running and contact sports.
Also just started physical therapy as I thought I wouldn’t need it but my back started hurting a bit again.
Basically, it feels very weak on that side of my back and I’m getting some symptoms of sciatica again (nothing major). Muscle imbalance was also confirmed at physical therapist.
However, about a month ago I started pretty hardcore calorie restriction to get some weight off of me (about 1000 calories a day deficit). These symptoms started popping up about two weeks ago, I’m wondering if it could be from the calorie defect? I’m still on a high protein diet

Boa noite pessoal.
Vim aqui desabafar e ouvir alguns conselhos sobre a minha história.
Tenho 30 anos e ele 31, venho de uma família humilde e ele de uma família bem estruturada (mimado). Nos conhecemos a 7 anos e namoramos a 4 anos. Nesse tempo ja tive 2 carros e hoje um apto, e ele absolutamente nada. Na verdade tem apenas um carro velho que o Pai deu pra ele não andar a pé, desde que conheço ele.
Ele é um cara que já me ajudou pra caramba em momentos que eu mais precisei, tanto emocionalmente quanto financeiro ( quando ele estava na fase boa). Hoje como esta numa fase ruim , me ajuda como pode com gestos.
Hoje toda vez que vamos sair, sempre tudo é dividido, absolutamente tudo..... Até gasolina hahaha vou rir pra não chorar , eu sei. Mas já tiveram tempos em que ele me levava pra jantar e só mandava eu escolher o restaurante e eu nem olhava a conta, e sim eram restaurantes caros. Eu não me importo em dividir a conta as vezes, mas não sempre! Isso é brochante pra uma mulher ....
E de verdade eu olho pra mim no espelho e falo , eu sou muito linda pra passar por isso. Faço academia, sou siliconada, gente boa e guerreira. Mas ai eu tento lembrar dos momentos bons que já vivemos, pra anular os ruins!
Hoje com eu com 30 anos estou parando pra refletir sobre isso, o porque estar com uma pessoa que não tem evolução na vida com 30 nas costas. Vive do presente, não junta dinheiro, só quer ficar pedindo meus cartões de crédito emprestado. Eu acho que homem tem que ser homem e ser independente da mulher. Estou me sentindo como se eu tivesse adotado um filho! Gostaria de um cara que resolvesse as coisas pra mim e não o contrario.
Qual a opinião de vocês por favor?!!!!

Apologies for another thread on JDU/JD+. I've spent a couple of hours researching and now I'm more confused than ever.
I've had JD2022 sitting on the shelf unused for years & only just activated the JDU trial.
Would there be any benefit to buying keys for the older games 2018-2021? Would they integrate into JD2022 or appear as separate installers/launchers? Would it even add new songs or is JDU providing all of the earlier tracks anyway?

I was under the impression that the combo would return to base and refill tank if it ran out on a run. Mine hasn't done that in a long time (to the point I am not sure it ever did). I get an Alexa voice notification that tank is empty and I should fill it -- that isn't automatically done by the combo?
