Been trying out the Fractal Refine chair. My initial impressions where that it was decently comfortable, and a gorgeous chair. But after about an hour or 2 of sitting in it, playing with the adjustments, etc... I find that my lower back is killing me. Like really bad. No amount of adjusting can fix this. It was really bothering me and I was able to determine that it is most certainly the lumbar support that is doing it. Even at its lowest, least aggressive setting (knob all the way to the left), I can feel it and it causes a lot of discomfort. Technically speaking, the lumbar support in the back does not touch the chair fabric when at its lowest setting, but there is only about a 1/4" worth of clearance (less if it is set to the mid back) and as soon as I sit my back pushes right into it. Since it is only a firm styrofoam like pad with plastic backing, it is still much to aggressive. I know a lot of people like lumbar support, but it causes me great discomfort.
Is there any way to just straight up remove the piece without causing damage to the chair?

2025.01.27 05:32 AntipodesIntel Windows Server update deleting network adapters
Over the weekend I scheduled some Windows servers to update and issues started popping up. Eventually I realised that on some (not all) of the servers the network adapters had been deleted and replaced with new ones. This was an issue because they all had new MAC addresses and their network settings were set to default, a.k.a. DHCP and everything auto.
Easy enough to fix once I figured out what had happened but that is 6 hours of diagnosing I'll never get back...

Hi! Just recently bought samsung s24 fe and im so happy about it. I came from a xiaomi 9t and its a big upgrade for me. My only problem is just that the battbattery drains fast. I know it has only 4700 mah and i came from a bugdet phone with 500 mah and thats not really too far a head but i feel like the battery can only last me 7 hrs and there has been heating. And im also worried with the battery health. Is there any way to not really optimize the battery to its 100% performance? TIA!

但我去白人父母领养的华人或者韩裔朋友家玩时，真的觉得很被他们家人接纳和尊重，所以我这么多年处得好的朋友，单看亚洲人除了中国来的就都是领养家庭长大的。

Normally, I'm fairly comfortable with our local bird populations, but the Gulls give me absolute FITS in IDing them. I'm in the Pacific NorthWest, just outside of Seattle. This (young?) gull was playing in the updrafts from the ferry we took across the Sound this weekend (Jan 25, 2025) and I can't find a single ID image in Merlin, Ebird/Audubon that even gets me close enough to have a suspect pool to pick from.
I don't normally post images here, so I'm hoping this works on Reddit...please let me know if these shots are not available and I'll figure out an alternate posting.

Hi! I’ve always loved going to a car boot sale, but I don’t drive. Usually I rely on lifts from friends or family to get to car boot sales in the warmer parts of the year. But I’m just wondering…is anyone aware of any car boot sales that happen in Chester that are easy to walk to from the city centre? Or even just some I could catch a bus to?
Alternatively are there any nearby easily accessible on the trains? Maybe somewhere along the Merseyrail?
They don’t have to be open year round 😊 I’m happy to just plan ahead for spring/summer. I’d just love to find some where I don’t have to constantly ask people for lifts to.
