Hey, my roommate has night shift and has been incredibly inconsiderate. At around 11:30 he starts screaming to his friend over his video game. It’s 11:30 as I write this and I can’t sleep because of the yelling. I’ve knocked on his door before and told him to stop politely. One night I told him to shut up (he yelled from 11:30-5:30 ish. What can I do? This is starting to affect my health and well being. I’m really considering finding a cheap room it’s so bad. I’ll prob get a couple hours of sleep tonight.

I have 2 old blue Ryobi drills and a blue impact driver. None of them have holes for belt clips like the newer tools do. Does anyone know any modifications and/or solutions to this? I’m so accustomed to having the belt clips that when I use the old tools I feel crippled! Thank you!

For context, I am a 17 year old stoner who has no pot whatsoever, no way to be able to purchase it for myself, and nobody who is willing to buy it for me. It feels like the universe wants me to go down this hellish path we call sobriety, and I absolutely fucking HATE it with all of my heart. Hi guys. I’m trying to figure out the name Of the first scary movie I watched as a kid. I don’t remember much but it was 1990 or under. We were in Italy at the time, so I don’t know if it was an American movie or Italian or something to the sort however, the language was definitely American. The only clip I remember is there was one of those old trap doors in the kitchen, I think, that led to a cellar. A young boy was told he can’t go down there but never knew why. I don’t remember the circumstances, but one day he did. There was a monster living under there and chased him and as he ran up the ladder to get out, the monster grabbed him by the leg (I want to say the monster still looked close to human). Well, when the kid fought to get out he kicked the monster in the head and his head split open and maggots started falling out and the kid got out of the cellar.
Don’t remember anything else. Please help.

The Dream bubble were created by the horrorterrors at the request of Feferi right? But there is only one furthest ring, even if it is enormous, so how come these infinite dead ghosts are almost exclusively from only 2 sessions? We barely ever see doomed alpha and beta kids, which feels strange when the trolls knew the kids better than they ever knew the dancestors. Where are all the doomed kids? Did they simply not splinter into any doomed timelines(outside the one that led to ghost john and davesprite)? Or did the meteogolden ship only attract bubbles with trolls? Furthermore, since tons of other people have played sburb/sgrub, are there dream bubbles for all those doomed players? Very curious what others think. Also lets ignore the obvious reaason that it'd be too difficult to draw random characters we've never seen at its easier to show that they're dead than it is with humans.

I know that's basically the definition of limerence but every now and then you need to snap yourself out of it and really think about how deeply irrational it is.
How much of our short life we can spend just thinking compulsively about someone who may not even think about us.
Sure your attraction to your LO might be more than just sexual (I admit that in my case it's usually just that I find them very very sexy) and perhaps they would actually make a great partner for you, maybe they are a rare bird with unique style and views... and so you spend an hour or so every day (if you add it up) thinking about them, convincing yourself that you don't really want anyone else if you can't have them
Then you go on holiday and see at least a few people you find just as sexy... you get talking to someone on the plane and realize they have an awesome personality... you don't even need to travel, you can gain some more perspective just by walking around your campus or your local mall, joining a local club.. go to a local gig and it's full of cool people with alternative styles that you appreciate, if you're into geeky people find local meet ups or science events, if you like people from a certain country or culture that isn't common in yours, visit the place.
This doesn't stop the limerence in its tracks obviously. It would be great if it did but these mental pathways are well worn and it takes more than that to break free from them, but I think it is healthy to put yourself out there, expand your horizons and remind yourself of something you already know deep down which is that there is no such thing as a soul mate, your LO isn't the only person you could be happy with, they're not the sexiest person you'll ever meet (how many people have you crossed paths with realistically? a few thousand across your life?) they're not the smartest or the most compassionate or the most interesting or the best at anything.
Of course it isn't going to be easy to find someone on their level if you really do feel this way toward them, and finding a single person who's also interested in you whilst ticking the other boxes can feel like you're looking for a unicorn, and you yeah don't have the history with them but don't get too gloomy and doomy about it and delude yourself into believing that they're the only one you'll actually be happy with and that nobody else could ever measure up. I think the more we do this the more we adopt a better perspective and become less obsessed with one person.
Then we can focus our energy on meeting people who actually treat us how we deserve not chasing a ghost
I hope this doesn't come across as platitudinous or self righteous , it's just something I remind myself of when I find myself obsessing over one or two people.
