Hey everyone, I typically go to Vegas for March Madness, watch the games at the sport book, eat, drink, etc. Like a superbowl party for March Madness. But this year (and probably the next few) I won’t be going.
And I’m wondering, does anyone know if either casino or someplace else does a March madness party? I tried googling it but the two casino websites are shockingly bad and don’t have any info other than the upcoming superbowl party and the concerts.

I just left my finance, who I really do love more than anything, but our relationship was getting hostile (verbally) with a few physical threats he made toward himself. I am not perfect and I know that, I tried really hard to submit to the way he wanted me to behave, self reflect, take accountability, rip myself apart constantly trying to fix myself for him, but it never seemed like enough progress. He blamed the relationship problems on me mostly, saying he didnt need to validate my feelings when they were delusional, and that he didnt feel the need to take accountability or apologize to something I was making up or for an issue I started myself. When he eventually began raising his voice at me and being mean, he said he knew it wasnt right but he was at his breaking point with me, and didn't have any more patience or grace to give me in our relationship. Anyway. I have a 4 year old from a previous marriage, and I felt the environment was becoming toxic for everyone involved. I asked to take a 2 week trip home to get space, and this was after fighting all week, and him asking me for his house key and engagement ring back and statement that "I don't think this relationship is going to work." He told me if I just apologized for my behavior, I would be able to stay. This whole push pull thing happened alot, with me being asked to leave but then allowed to stay if I said sorry. I don't even want to get into that mess, like what he demanded I apologize for, but I will if anyone asks. I ended up deciding to leave after the day got progressively worse and more toxic, with him calling the police on me because as he said "I threw him under the bus to my mom" while on the phone with her, sitting on the ground crying about everything going on. He said he was calling 911 to tell them this was now a domestic violence situation. I never laid a hand on him or threatened him, I was just packing my stuff, trying to avoid engagement, but he kept leaving the house and returning, and trying to talk to me. Then would I responded with stress and crying, and asking to please leave me alone, again I became the out of control crazy woman . I am extremely stressed now that Ive left, and I dont even know what reality is anymore. I keep second guessing myself. I'm pregnant with his child, have a 4 year old, and I was not working while with him, under agreement on both parties that I would be a stay at home mom. I did side work and gave him about 400 a month, and did all the house work, etc. I'm now back at my parents, with a totally shattered heart, fear of my future, and fear that I ruined both my kids lives. He let me know he's relieved I left and that his peace has returned, and that was after alot of "I hate you. You ruined my life and our daughters life, you're never going to see me again" etc etc. The whole thing is a total mess, but I can't stop hating myself and wondering if maybe he was right, maybe I am the problem, maybe his behaviors are because of me, and maybe I just totally ruined everyone's life because I wasn't willing to try to work it out together in that exact moment. I just wanted 2 weeks. Still committed, still loyal, still have contact, just take some space where I could look into solo therapy and asked he did the same. I didn't even want to leave permanently. I just wanted us to get some space but he said no, he would not change his mind, and that if I left I was not welcome back. Now I am here, I left, but I feel like death, like I turned everything upside down on myself. Now I'm to be a single mom that no one will ever want to love, rightfully so, and at this point I don't even care. I just want him. I just wanted us to get ourselves help, and do therapy together as well. Craziest thing is, we had a scheduled session with a therapist that night, but we didnt even make it that far. I feel so broken.

If i have 10 Charisma but 16 Wisdom, i would get +3 proficiency to any deception, intimidation, performance and persuasion skill checks.
but if i only had 8 charisma, or 12 charisma. would that give me another -1 or +1 proficiency to the roll check? or does having Otherwordly Glamour completely void your Charisma proficiency in any skill checks, and you only worry about the proficiency bonus that comes from your Wisdom?

2025.01.27 17:15 extasis_T I’ve been getting my pink drink with matcha every day for about 6 months, including since they changed the powder, and every day it looks normal. But a few times a week the matcha will sink into the drink within 2 minutes and look like this:
It tastes like sludgy matcha with a weird sour taste when it does this Usually this is my favorite drink in the world, even if it slowly mixes in as I drink it. Today when they handed it to me the matcha was already 3/4 of the drink.
I don’t like this version of the drink, but I love the normal way it’s made, I always ask them to make sure it’s not mixed or blended because I just want it at the top but a few times a week (usually when my main 3 baristas aren’t the ones making it) it does this.
I’m standing in here wanting to ask for a remake but they didn’t technically do anything wrong so that feels shitty to ask for.
Should I just stop ordering my favorite drink I’ve been getting since last year, or is there a solution to this that doesn’t piss the baristas off at me for being difficult? It’s just becoming too much of a problem. Every day I’m nervous it will do this, and usually it does not but today I walked in and saw it and just felt so annoyed I spent so much money on a drink I won’t even drink.
