I keep on hearing lot of fearmongering how deepseek is censoring input on their web-service and this and that on lot of threads (I understand some valid privacy concerns but feel they are overblown and can be countered), so what is stopping us corporations like Google, xAI and others from hosting the deepseek on their end?
I feel lot fearmongering is due to what US corporations wanted to give at huge profit margins (200 a month) was made available for free and now their investments are at risk and lot of misinformation sounds like propaganda from them. But why not just take the opportunity to host it them self? With their better hardware they could provide at much better TPS and capacity, after all their license allows it!
I am also aware of providers providing inference on OR but those small companies don't have enough compute to provide the R1 at decent/usable TPS.

I've really just started getting my feet on the ground in the game, and now that I've got a better idea of how combat works, all I want to do is experiment with different play styles. But holy cow, it's so easy to blow through two or three hours without even realizing how long you've been playing.
A+ game. Haven't had something grab me like this in I don't know how long.

Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble integrating two datasets (let's call them A and B), each with multiple samples. Dataset A has 13 samples that are very similar to each other, so I didn’t need to integrate them. Dataset B has 46 samples that are slightly different, and some of those require integration.
I'm following the Seurat SCTransform workflow by merging both datasets and then splitting by sample, which results in 56 total samples. However, I keep encountering this error:

I started counting in Sept of 2023 - prior to that, I had about 30 occurrences, with my first occurrence being that year.
I note that my most prolific time was shortly after my son was born on 10/20/23. I think this was due to the frequent wakings and the heightened awareness during sleep (from anxiety about his welfare).
Note that I'm counting lucid dreams as well, as they often go hand-in-hand with astral projections.

Mass relays work strictly point to point, relay to relay.
Citadel, as we know and among other functions, is an overpowered mass relay linking to the place outside the galaxy where Reapers been sleeping. To the other Citadel scale relay, name it Citadel-2.
It likely does not look like our Citadel and has only relay function. But both of them are capable of covering undefined distance.
Reapers took up to about 2.5 years to reach the galaxy via standard FTL. That's up to 30k light years @ their 30LY per day cruise speed. Considering the direction of their approach and the location of the Citadel - I'd estimate the distance between relays as ~100k LY. It can easily be said that there's no limit.
Any bets of it being used to link Milky Way and Andromeda?
Probably no chance, cause it doesn't exist anywhere outside of pure lore rules. No mentions, no nothing. Writers maybe thought about it when they made related story bits but that's all. And will come up with some new megatech for the link.
It can be a solid way to do it without pulling some new stuff from a sock.
Andromeda Initiative Arks took 634 years to complete the journey, that is 11LY per day travel speed.
Citadel can fly on its own as it has moved in the end of ME3, Citadel-2 can too most likely, doubt it was built out there - no resourses. If it can go Reaper speed, it'll need a bit over 200 years to reach Andromeda.
That gives Council races roughly 400 years for any repairs they need to do after the war, travel to the Reaper bedroom, loot the Citadel-2, remember about the Initiative and fling the thing over there.
Easily doable, me thinks. Purely hypothetical, ofc.
