Hello everyone, I have always struggled with sleep but recently it has gotten incredibly bad.
I honestly can't think of what else I can do differently. It's been close to 2 weeks now and can't get a solid nights sleep... feeling run down.
29 M. 215 lb. 6' 2"
Things I'm doing / not doing:
- no coffee past 9am (going to now try cutting out completely for a few weeks)
- no screens past 8 pm. Yesterday I didn't watch TV or video games at all even during the day
- no food past 7:30 pm
- in bed at 10 pm, sleeping by 10:30 pm, reading those 30 minutes
- Sleepy time tea + L-theanine, Magnesium Glycinate, L-Trypotphan, Ashwaganda (melatonin does not work)
- Drinking 160-200 oz water / day (215lb man)
- Starting room temp of 66 with a drop to 60 by midnight
- max 20 minute nap, no later than 1pm
- earplugs and eye mask
- Diagnosed with MILD sleep apnea, CPAP doesn't help this issue
- Heart rate is normalized and rests around 55-60 until i wake up
