Midorima(cyclope eye):The right hand and second in command;best sniper in world.Some mocks him by calling him Akashi's bride because he will only be seen by his side assisting with planning and finance deals. they have never seen him perched at buildings with his beloved guns for the victim whose fate is sealed before death because Midorima never miss.
Aomine(the Ace):The assasin;killer(no puns) knife work. The most versatile killer . Best hand to hand combat.Largest body count. Anything in his vincity becomes a weapon.You will be dead before you realise. He is as fast as a train .
Kise:The conman;undercovers,interrogation and the honey pot.

2025.01.27 19:22 jeesuscheesus It’s weird to hate Griffith
This topic is discussed a lot in this subreddit as of late but I reading about it. This manga is 30+ years old and people are still discussing the themes.
Griffith is an objectively evil antagonist. He rapes, he sacrificed those who risked their lives for him and his dream, and he doomed the world to create his perfect kingdom. Anyone who tries to justify his actions as not evil haven't read the manga. However, in my opinion, it's really strange that people actually hate Griffith. Not as a poorly written character or anything, but as if he was a real person to committed these acts to real people.
Griffith represents a real idea, of humans who are ruthlessly ambitious, but he himself is purely fictional. With such logic it's like being unable to appreciate or 90% of villains in fiction, it's ridiculous. I suspect the reason people do this is because they self-insert into berserk and/or treat berserk as escapism, and act like Griffith murdered their friends Pippin, Corkus, Judeauh, etc.
And let's be honest, I really doubt Kentaro ever intended for berserk to be treated as escapism. It's a story where hell is real, monsters are everywhere, rape is the norm, and main characters get slaughtered in the eclipse. Guts, especially early manga Guts, is so alien from the typical black haired male high school main character self-insert you see so commonly in escapist manga. If berserk was escapism, the story would've ended with Griffith and the hawks becoming nobles in Midland and living happily ever after.
Berserk is a story about coping with trauma. Guts and Griffith are perfect foils of each other, like yin and yang. Griffith being who he is what makes for half of the story's greatness. He's an excellently written character, there are only reasons to like him. If Griffith was a non-hateable villain, the motivations, themes, characters, everything would fall flat. If he wasn't so evil, or a poorly written character, people would've stopped caring about this manga long ago.

My wife just bought a 2016 Subaru Legacy. We are looking to get roof racks as we have a roof-topper that we really love. however, when I went to the Subaru dealer on Saturday, they told me that the legacy could not get OEM roof racks. Which I found kind of crazy because every other car on their lot had stock roof racks. Has anyone else had this issue with a legacy? In case you havn't seen it yet, go check out the aetherdrift precon decklist for living energy, helmed by [[Saheeli, Radiant Creator]]. there are some incredibly powerful pieces in this deck, and im curious on your thoughts behind this commander vs. [[mishra, eminent one]]. mishra is known for going infinite very easily with [[gonti's aether heart]], so im expecting to see lists for saheeli include this as well. Paying 3 energy for the copy might slow down the deck a little, and I wasnt seeing too many cheap energy sources like [[izzet generatorum]] in the precon but I could definitely see the innate energy gain from artifacts/artificers being useful, as well as the ability to copy any permenant over just copying artifacts. another obvious comparison for this commander is [[satya, aetherflux genius]] which I enjoy but can be a little limiting due to the need for attacking, and not getting attack triggers from the new copy, and the copy needs to be a creature. keeping the creature is a big plus with cheaper creatures like [[guide of souls]] and [[ocelot pride]], which in both cases wont be available for saheeli. Overall, which of these seem more powerful? more fun?
