2025.01.27 19:41 Icedfyre New to Game Gear Repair
 | I recently picked up 4 game gears in various states of non working status. First one I am trying to get working is a VA5 board model (unlike the others which are VA1). This one powers on and then goes right off again, so I assume there is an issue with the power board. Most repair kits just have you replace the capacitors, some include the ICs but I am wondering if the actual issue is one of the components near the bottom (see image where it has brown crud). I've so far not been able to find a diagram that indicates what this is and what to replace it with. I also thought about getting a replacement power board from Ali Express. This boards power connector differs from the VA1 models so I can't test using one of the others to make sure its the only issue. I'm also not sure if the ones from Ali Express are any good. I've seen people use the screen kits but there is little info on if the power boards are any good. Another hurdle is that I am in Canada so "just get a kit from Console 5" is going to delay repair for weeks. Hello everyone. Iâm looking for some help with the current job market in Switzerland. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Biology (from Croatia) and a Master's Degree in Environmental Science (I specialized in Aquatic Sciences in Switzerland. I defended my thesis a month ago). Iâm currently looking for a job here in Switzerland, but Iâm stuck with my search and looking for a fresh perspective. Iâve done some student jobs during my university years, but I have no experience (aside from doing my master's thesis research, of course), and I am looking into both internships and full-time jobs. Anything really. The issue I encounter is that Iâm located in an area full of biotech companies (which I donât appear to be qualified enough for). Iâve applied to all the major companies that hire within my field regularly (like Nestle), all the biotech companies I could find, perfume companies, laboratories, big pharma companies, life science companies, and environmental consulting companies. Another issue is that I speak English perfectly, but my German and French are at a basic level. Iâm located within the Vaud canton, and while Iâd be willing to travel at this point because Iâm so desperate to find anything, my mentor warned me that many companies will consider that and will not hire me because of distance. Iâd love to get any insight/ideas/company suggestions because Iâm unsure where to go from here. Thank you so much in advance!

I don't know if this is news to anyone here, but I was having a chat with various AIs about the TriWest mess today. They told me that Health Net Federal Services (HNFS) warned the Defense Health Agency (DHA) during contract negotiations that TriWest Healthcare Alliance was unprepared to manage the TRICARE West Region, yet the DHA awarded the $65B contract to TriWest anyway. HNFS even filed a lawsuit, arguing that TriWest lacked an existing network and would face significant technical challenges. While HNFSâs concerns were acknowledged, Federal Judge Ryan Holte ultimately dismissed them and ruled in favor of DHA, allowing TriWest to take over management on January 1, 2025âpaving the way for the issues we face today.
This doesn't change anything, obviously. I just found it super interesting that none of the powers that be should have really been taken by surprise here. But Iâm guessing someone saved a penny.

My ideas are for lower level characters. But they are
+1 high quality weapons that do not confer magic damage. And may need occasional sharpening ect..
And
Specialized armored that confers 1 resistance and 1 vulnerability. More of a modifier on existing armors.
But I'm unsure how to price these, and how common they should be.

After a long wait I received my mini and I love it. I am using the sand that came with it, but Iâm noticing that thereâs a bit of build up at the outer edge, and the peaks and valleys on the designs are somewhat shallow. Looking at the website, it appears that most videos have more sand in it. Should I have received more? How much sand can you add before itâs too heavy and dense for the ball to move?
