I am taking my test tomorrow and ive been using DAT booster. Is there any practice test I that I should for sure review before tomorrow and does anyone who has taken it in January mind giving a breif breakdown of high yield topics that did actually appear on their exam. My last exam did not seem representative at all compared to my booster so im trying to be extremely prepared this time.

Hello fellow Magos, we’re squarely mid edition now and AdMech has come a long way.
We have had an identity crisis for most of the edition, going from an elite costed army with no damage and slightly above average durability, to an oddly durable horde army with no damage, and now a semi-elite army that can be hard to shoot or whatever Haloscreed makes us.
I have been doing pretty well lately on the table, and enjoying having a detachment that allows a variety of units. Being able to juice up various portions of the army as needed is nice.
But I find 10e to still be an edition that doesn’t know what it wants to be. There’s too many cooks in the rules kitchen, and depending on what chef made your faction, your 10e experience is very different.
If you have a large collection of a faction you’ve been able to weather the storm of balance changes, but if you designed a list around one detachment you’ve probably gotten screwed.
It’s getting real old to see meta-lists in high level play dictate sweeping, often too heavy-handed, changes to the game environment. It’s also getting real old to be held hostage waiting on data-slates because a big event is coming up and GW doesn’t want to change things during the lead up.
Codexes are obsolete before they even ship. Rules are kinda streamlined from 9e, I guess, depending on what you’re playing. And I dunno, I feel like we’re in another middling edition of 40k that hopefully leads to a good one, but an edition we don’t remember too fondly.
I really hope 11th drops the codex roadmap for rules and balance. Make the things art books that contain updated combat patrols and crusade stuff. Divorce the rules and balance from release dates, so balance can be done both scheduled and as needed.
Again I am happy with Haloscreed, I’m just waiting for the inevitable hit it’s going to take due to be grossly over represented on the table. So long as GW doesn’t understand the survivor paradox, every time players get a nice thing we can look forward to it being dialed back later, rather than the detachments no one takes getting addressed properly.
For those of you struggling to get AdMech going, don’t feel bad 10e has been a labyrinth full of balance Minotaurs. Occasionally we all have run into one and gotten chopped.
I’ve been playing way more Kill Team, but KT is also staring at GW waiting for a needed balance change, and being held up for almost all the same reasons as 10e 40k.

No, I didn't mess up again. Not yet, anyway. ;) Sometimes, things drop with all the choices in a dropdown, and other times, they dribble out slowly, one at a time, over hours or days. You don't know whether to grab something, or wait to see if a more suitable one comes along. SO, this morning I grabbed a hair topper with bangs (color might not be right, but I'll try it) An hour later, same brand, topper without bangs, which I'd rather try. Arrghhhh... And I did check the main listing, and it does say I ordered a variant, so no sneaking around with this. I don't want to do an unnecessary cancellation. Meh. My one consolation is the color is probably too dark. I sure don't want two that aren't quite right. At least it's human hair, so I could try to lighten it, if needed. Foo.

A month ago I changed my passcodes on my old android phone and my ipad, but unfortunately forgot it. Thankfully ipad allowed me to enter my older passcode but my andriod phone is locked out and I’ve tried every combination I could think of to no avail.
Since I changed both devices to the same passcode, is there a way I can find out records of older passcodes on my ipad so I can finally access my phone?
Would really appreciate any help!

2025.01.27 19:32 Armonster Wireless solutions to projector and to speakers that syncs up?
Hey everyone,
A while back I posted on this sub and the amazingly helpful PlayStationPepe aided me in choosing a projector. We've been loving it since. Tbh I did NOT think such a device would provide us with so much joy but it really has, we use it a lot for all kinds of things.
Anyways - since we've been using it more often and moving it around in a few rooms, I've found the cable management a bit ugly. It's obvious in hindsight but it never crossed my mind that a projector needs to be on one side of a room and the speakers on another.
I was wondering if anyone knows of a wireless solution to this. I know it gets dicey in this area. The goal is a solution that is wireless both to the projector and to the speakers and that it somehow ensures that the two are synced up as well. Alternative solutions is running wired to one, like to the projector, and then the projector's sound output is to a wireless solution that sends to the speakers.
I know bluetooth has delay so doesn't work nicely for this. Also I know it can only transmit stereo audio I believe, so no 7.1 or anything like that.
I know IR solutions exist but are quite expensive and I believe not as user friendly, I think at that point I'm getting more into the audio / video cable engineering world.
And then I've also seen some wireless HDMI transmitter / receivers. I think these might be my best bet. However I'd need to find one that is able to send to two different receivers at once, and to make sure that they are in sync, not sure if anyone knows if anything like that exists. I suppose I could also get a splitter, and put a wireless HDMI transmitter on each, sending one to the audio and one to the video, but I'm not sure if it would align the two signals or if there's a chance one could be delayed. Or possibly that the wireless signals interfere with each other too.
I could also try one of these for the method where I go wired to projector and wireless to the speakers.
Please let me know any tips you may have around this! Thank you.

Hey,
New to 3D printer so not sure if this is normal.
My Plus 4 doesn't seem to know its boundaries. It's really easy for me to bang the head on the sides and make horrible noises.
For example, if I enable "timelapse" on Fluidd, then enable "park head" and chose a corner, the printer will make a horrible noise once it tries to park and, then the next layer will start misaligned, which indicates to me the printer doesn't know where it should be.
When it's not printing and I play with the controls on the printer, some corners will make horrible noises before the popup shows saying its outside boundaries. Shouldn't the printer know when to stop?
Is that normal? I'm afraid of trying to print bigger parts that goes to the edges of the printer now.
