2025.01.27 19:11 bakler5 Warranty Repair for DualSense Controller
So my son's PS5 controller has the dreaded stick drift issue on a controller that came with the PS5 that we bought about 8 months ago. I have already tried cleaning it, resetting it, etc. to no avail. I went to Sony's website and started the repair process, only to find out that you have to send the controller in and wait for them to repair or send a refurbished one back. Now, maybe I am naive because I have typically only had to deal with phone or computer repairs under warranty, where almost every decent company has the option to place a charge on a card and send you the replacement first so that you are not stuck without your device for 2+ weeks. I contacted support through their chat, and was told there was nothing they could do, and the chat was just ended (to be fair, the support person was very polite, up until they just closed chat).
I am curious what other people who have gone through this think? We only have the one controller, so the ps5 will basically be useless until it comes back.

I hope this is OK to discuss here, if not I'm sorry.
I collect UG and am wondering if using dab pearls in a smoking apparatus would be a health concern. I know UG is safe to be around and eat off of mostly but I'm wondering if adding heat from a torch would have any kind of effect. I'm in talks with a glass blower and he reccomended adding a coating of clear glass to add a layer of protection. Would raw UG be unsafe amd in what ways? Would the coating keep me safe if there is a health concern?

Theres "A Friend" of mine with "Definitely Enough Gamedev Experience" trying to make a "Game" with "Actually Cohesive Worldbuilding". You probably get the gist.
So there was some questions i had with some certain stuff that was either left ambiguous or just not explained well(idk i think) in the backrooms wikidot, which i will take as a model for the lore of my project.
First of all: Do you need to actually eat? If so, how much? I figured out that time does in fact, disproportionally pass in the backrooms. Also if people need to eat and drink (albeit not much i think, not sure) would creatures be open buffet? I know that some of them are edible (such as hens) so i think most people would try their hand at entity hunting rather than waiting for god to respawn your food reserves.
Furthermore, can people age, or more importantly repopulate? Now before i get framed as a gooner, i would like to state that most people have different opinions about biological function in the backrooms, so dont blame me for asking about it. Also repopulation does affect how strong a colony of people would be in the backrooms, and allow for backrooms-born people (who would of course have a very different world view) to maybe form their own societies, or be more adept to surviving. Also if repopulation can be considered canon, since most colonies are in the 12,000 MAX range, the margin of birth-to-death would need to be VERY HIGH thus there would be very few old people.
Am i the only one asking these questions? Please do consider responding

Seiji Shishikura.
Iida if he had Bakugo's attitude. Makes meat, love vegetables. One of the most unique Quirks / superpowers I've ever seen. Only joined Shiketsu because he loves their hats. His father works at Tartarus so Seiji being a hero is 'kind of' a family business. Did he ever get his license to help out during the Final War?
If you had the chance to write for him (or if you have already), what would you do with him different from canon? Why does he want to be a hero? What if he was a part of UA? How effective of a pro hero would he be? Do you have any fanfics that highlight him as a great character?

Hello a tous C'est un problème qui me suit depuis des années et je pense que pour d'autres aussi, le seul élément de toute ma cuisine que je n'arrive pas a nettoyer correctement c'est cette friteuse électrique. Elle est top on s'en sert souvent mais quel bordel pour nettoyer ce truc
Tout est en inox mais je n'arrive pas a nettoyer ça correctement, j'ai lu qu'on pouvait utiliser une morceau de pastille lave vaisselle remplir a l'eau et faire monter la température pour nettoyer la cuve, et même ça j'y arrive pas correctement donc je pense qu'il y a mieux, j'ai essayé savon noir, soude, vinaigre mais c'est du pipeau aussi...
Et ça c'est pour la cuve mais on parle pas des boutons qui sont tout graisseux on parle pas des côtés de la friteuse ou la partie plus électrique qui prend aussi peu a peu la graisse
J'ai pas envie d'utiliser des produits hyper chimiques et puissants pour m'intoxiquer la gueule alors elle traîne comme ça, mi sale mi propre dans la cuisine <3

2025.01.27 19:11 Broceephus Inexpensive high gain amp for new player
I'm a fairly new player. I'm currently using amp sims (free ones) with headphones at the moment but I'd rather just play through an amp to be honest. For the record, I have no issues with people using sims. I'd just rather have an amp.
Perfectly fine with used. And no neighbors to worry about either.
I've seen people recommend Boss Katana, 6505, Orange Super Crush, etc. If possible I'd like to score an amp and cab for around $500. I'll adjust a little on either end if I have to but that's my budget with minimal flexibility.
Guitar is a budget level bridge only PUP guitar. But it's still a beast.
Don't care too much about cleans at the moment.
I know you guys/gals get this question everyday so I searched and came up with the examples I listed already. Just curious if there's others that would fit the bill.
