Long post, but I want to give all the details!!
For about 3+ years we have suspected that our next door neighbors have been mistreating their animals that they breed. We could never quite tell how many animals they had at once and no idea if they are licensed or not. We have never once seen any dog taken on a walk or treated like a pet. From what we know they are confined to a tiny side yard area and sometimes the garage. My wife has seen a bit into the side yard while trimming trees and it’s littered with cages and feces. We’ve heard them crying at 3AM in 30 degree weather. We’ve heard them outside in 100+ degree weather. Despite this happening for years, we never had any proof of mistreatment. For all we know they could have wonderful heated stalls, or buckets of ice water. We live on a small cul de sac and even if an “anon” call was put it, it’d be very obvious that we were the ones that called in. Yesterday, I heard a bit of commotion from the neighborhood dogs. The ones in the yard behind us are always barking at something, so I didn’t think much about it. Over an hour into the noise, I looked in the back because it was more than usual. I saw the dog in our backyard barking at the ones behind us. Even though we’d never seen her fully, we determined it was our next door neighbors’ and my wife went to their house to inform them. I immediately started taking video and photo of this dog because it was clearly malnourished. I don’t want to post the photos here, but anyone who sees this dog will clearly know they are not being adequately fed. She also had scars and sores on her rear end. The oldest son popped his head over the fence to check if it was theirs and the dog immediately tucked her tail and cowered. When the son came to get the dog she was so low to the ground and shaking. This boy can’t be more than 12. The fact that the dog was so terrified sparked another huge red flag. I did not take video/photo of the interaction because I didn’t want to be recording someone underage. We checked the fence line and concluded the dog must have climbed on top of the cages and jumped over. We hear a ton of commotion from them on the side yard. The whole family is yelling and arguing and it all seemed extremely odd. We hear their little girl yelling “ew, poopoo!” over and over. Cages banging around, etc. They didn’t seem worried about the actual animal at all. Through all of this, my wife and I are wondering whether we should call for a welfare check. Less than an hour after the incident started, I hear the dog crying again. I go to the back door to open the screen and see the dog hanging over the fence, trying desperately to get over to our yard, stretched on tiptoes on top of a cage, which we had thought they were moved so it wouldn’t happen again. I take more video/photo. The kids are playing in the backyard and don’t realize what’s happening until the dog falls (small dog falling from a 6’ fence, caught on camera) and the son yells “Bitch, you are not opening that door again, I locked it!” Absolute no concern for the fact that the dog just fell from a height that could be harmful. For the rest of the day we hear her crying on and off (which is not a first).
We determined calling the county animal services for a welfare check is the right thing to do. However, that is something we’ve never done before. It will be extremely obvious we are the ones calling, even if we put it in as anon (we’re not worried about that). We are assuming that if we merely ask for a check, they have no reason to be able to go in and see the dog. But if we show them the photos and videos, it’s obvious this dog is at the very least malnourished, and the behavior we witnessed suggests there may be abuse going on. Will that give them just cause to tell the owner they need to actually see the dog in person? If they see the dog in the condition it’s in, do they have the ability to take it from them? If the dog is taken, is there any way we can be sure this dog will be sent somewhere where it will be cared for, or is it out of our hands at that point? I’m not keen to share my exact location, but we live in California in an area where pit bull breeding is common and I’m sure this won’t be the first time they’ve heard of a case like this. We’ve looked up rescues in the area and haven’t found one that seems like they’d care for this dog properly. We are continuing to research and document. I thought I’d come here to see if anyone is educated on the subject, or has been through a similar situation and can give us some insight. We really want to make sure that if we call, someone will get their eyes on this dog. We have plenty of photo and video evidence of the malnourishment, endangerment, and disregard for the animal’s well being. We want to be absolutely sure that someone will see this dog in person and witness their condition before we put in our official report. TIA.

Then Ava's girls said that they were going to run us out of town, which seemed likely because I was quite infamous. Yet they didn't, because I was fixing my reputation over the years, To this day, I still think about it.

I can’t ask a generic question, I can’t ask a niche question, I can’t ask for opinions, I can’t even give someone my thoughts and readings on their charts because that’s reserved for paid creators only, I can’t talk about asteroids, I can’t even mention sidereal, I can’t talk about sun placements, and oh I definitely cannot talk about my own chart and placements because that is considered narcissism!
In addition to this, I can’t talk about love, career and synastry because that is also considered narcissism. Oh also no mention of forecasts and no asking people what they think! Like that isn’t the whole point of reddit…but anyway.
Who is running these? And how can you call someone simply wanting to discuss their placements and acquire some knowledge a narcissist? Such lack of decorum and intellectual capacity.
