My company offers 4 weeks "work from anywhere" so looking to escape the cold and have mostly settled on Buenos Aires as the destination. I have never been, and looking on the map it seems huge!
I am trying to find a nice neighborhood like those mentioned in my title - i.e. cool, more young neighborhoods with an artsy vibe and lots of street-level interest. Also relatively self contained - good bars, restaurants, gyms, etc. Bonus if you know of any co-working spaces there :)

From what I’m understanding the short of it is that DeepSeek essentially provides the same functionality as chatGPT for a fraction of the cost. So, people sold their positions because they immediately recognized that more money was spent on AI companies than is a clearly necessary.
But, what I don’t understand, is that DeepSeek also has a fraction of the hardware resources compared to what a company like OpenAI has. So, if these code optimizations that DeepSeek made are truly without any significant drawbacks, and DeepSeek has actually found a revolutionary way to structure LLMs, then why can’t OpenAI implement these structures and run the more optimized LLM on top of their larger hardware infrastructure?
It’s an open source model, so openAI could just absorb the improvements and move on, right?
I don’t know if I don’t get it. Someone please explain.

I regret not doing well in university. I should've worked like a dog but did not appreciate college as an opportunity to migrate.
All of my close friends have left the terrible country that I live in (Lebanon) and went on to become successful doctors and engineers in the US and Canada, management and financial consultants in UAE, managers in Saudi Arabia, auditors in Luxembourg and France.
I'm here stuck between terrible jobs and unemployment (my 20s absolutely ruined); I've sent endless CVs, cover letters, thousands of applications throughout the years but nothing worked to get a respectful job in my major. I've been on this spiral since I graduated.
I'll be 31 in a few months and think about the regret every day when I wake up for the past several years; it paralyzes me and I often feel a heavy pain in my chest that keeps me from getting up the morning. I think I'll end it pretty soon, there is no second chances here.
