2025.01.27 19:10 Ornery_Transition_29 Is the Kentucky Life Insurance Exam Rigged? I’ve Scored the Same 4 Times in a Row

I need to know if anyone else has experienced this because something feels off.
I’ve taken the Kentucky life insurance exam five times, and on my last four attempts, I’ve scored the exact same: 68% (34/50). The passing score is 70%, and no matter how much I study or prepare, my score just doesn’t budge.
Here’s the part that’s driving me crazy:

I’ve completed the 12-hour pre-licensing course and scored 90%+ on practice exams before each attempt.
I’ve recognized repeated questions on multiple attempts and felt confident in my answers.
The statistical chance of getting the same score four times is basically impossible (about 0.0015%).

When I contacted the test provider (PPC) to request a manual review, they refused and just said, “Some people pass, and some people don’t.” At this point, I’ve spent $200 on retake fees, and this delay is keeping me from getting licensed and starting my career.
Has anyone else had issues with the PPC exam?

Do you think this could be a scoring error or something systemic?
Have you been able to resolve similar problems with PPC or another testing provider?

I’m considering filing a formal complaint with the Kentucky Department of Insurance and possibly seeking legal advice, but I wanted to see if others are experiencing this first. Any tips or similar experiences would really help.

2025.01.27 19:10 Hackalope Dynamically scoring Risk events in ES

If you've made a Correlated Search rule that has a Risk Notification action, you may have noticed that the response action only uses a static score number. I wanted a means to have a single search result in risk events for all severities and change the risk based on if the detection was blocked or allowed. The function sendalert risk as detailed in this devtools documentation promises to do that.
I found during my travels to get it working that it the documentation lacks some clarity, which I'm going to try to share with everyone here (yes, there was a support ticket - they weren't much help but I shared my results with them and asked them to update the documentation).
The Risk.All_Risks datamodel relies on 4 fields - risk_object, risk_object_type, risk_message, and risk_score. One might infer from the documentation that each of these would be parameters for sendalert, and try something like:
sendalert risk param._risk_object=object param._risk_object_type=obj_type param._risk_score=score param._risk_message=message
This does not work at all, for the following reasons:

using param._risk_message causes the alert to fail without console or log message
param._risk_object_type only takes strings - not variable input
param._risk_score only takes strings - not variable input

Or real world example is that we created a lookup named risk_score_lookup:

2025.01.27 19:10 camport95 AITA for getting hit by a car on my bike?

On September 2, 2020, I then 25/m (30 this summer) was hit in a busy tunnel in Ontario.
I was in the right of the right-hand lane, and somebody who was texting and driving struck me with downhill force.
I summersaulted several times over, and from shock and adrenaline ran towards the driver and immediately called 911 recorded at 7:07 a.m.
The driver assisted first aid, and was initially going to drive into the hospital himself and then I looked at the injury to my left leg, and it was torn wide open. there is also a laceration to the light leg but significantly smaller.
I began panicking because I thought it was going to bleed out. He pulled over and we then waited for the ambulance to arrive, to which it did at 7:18 a.m.
We got to the hospital, and stitched up both legs, and treated a right broken collarbone, as well as discovering that I was injured in the spine as well. The left laceration was so severe it required surgery, to which they had to put me to sleep for.
I had wonderful support from family and friends at the time but no information I could recall about the driver. I have no idea what he looked like and only could describe his car as a light colored sedan, and the only information that I could even recall was that his date of birth was April 7, 1995.
The highway was double laned on both sides of the tunnel, the north side of the tunnel had to the sidewalk but the south did not, I was east bound.
If you wanted to Google Map the location it was in the East Main Street tunnel in Welland, Ontario.
If I was hit in The Townline Tunnel I'd be dead no question (Or If I wasn't wearing a helmet) but The Thorold Tunnel, I would have a pretty good chance of survival.

I remember reading this fic at least one and a half years ago, here's what I remember:
The thing I remember the most was that the fic was kinda meta and often breaking the 4th wall, then there was 2 characters (Rainwings I think?) That found a strange trinket and used it to travel to alternate universes. There are two of those AU's they visited that I specifically remember the first one was " https://m.fanfiction.net/s/12405176/1/ " and the other AU was right outside JMA but literally every dragon in that AU was only eating grass and nothing else. I also kinda remember the 2 characters constantly fleeing from some entity that hunted them through all the AU's

2025.01.27 19:10 Dg_175 What type of split is needed to gain muscle and lose fat? How much cardio is too much?

My goal is to lose inches in the waist, make it more muscle and get bigger glutes. I'm 5'7 and 135 pounds so not a huge amount of weight I need gone. Currently my split looks like glutes, back, full legs (also glutes) triceps and shoulders. I heard it's good to do cardio at the end of each session so I plan to implement 20 minutes of stairmaster or incline walking. Should I do a day just for cardio and cut the other cardio out. Should I do a cardio day and the other cardio? I want a smaller waist but I also want to grow musle and glutes. Any advise would be appreciated
