Hello everyone! Wanted to give an update on my fast.
Long and short is... GOD I feel amazing. I cannot state this more emphatically.
Things I've noticed about my body..
- I've been cooking and grocery shopping for the family. Not even interested if the food. However heartburn starts to come. Especially at the grocery store. Crazy how our brain is wired. Sipping on water soothes the fire.
- I swear I can smell food through 5 brick walls. It is crazy heightened. Downside...I smell people's breath 15 feet away. Dude...people need to brush more.
- Had a forearm injury a couple years ago..just a bad strain. Hurts off and on. Three days ago it started feeling strange...like...not electricity or anything but...I don't know...slightly painful/fatigued/heavy. Today...it feels great. To get in front of the hate...I am not saying it cured it. I'll I'm doing is documented what is happening to me.
- Went to a festival this weekend and was walking a lot. Felt tingling in my left leg...on the outer thigh. Unsure what that was about.
- My lips get dry before I feel thirsty. So working on drinking whether or not I feel thirsty.

2025.01.27 19:29 CoffeeBlowout PSA: LG32GS95UE now properly clips at 1300~ nits in Windows HDR Calibration Tool
I am using the latest Nvidia CUDA driver 571.96 and decided to test out the HDR Calibration Tool again as I had not tired this in quite some time. To my shock and surprise, the tool now properly allows for full HDR calibration up to about 1300~ nits. Windows Display Settings also now finally shows the screen as HDR1300 nits.
I just tested RTX HDR in BF2042, and you can set it properly to 1300 nits, and the slider makes a difference. The game looks incredible now, the highlights are so much better and monitor looks proper now.
The official updated Nvidia driver should be out on Thursday Jan 30th to coincide with the RTX 50 series launch. If you want to try this out now, you can download the CUDA package that contains this updated driver from here. https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-downloads?target_os=Windows&target_arch=x86_64 You can simply do a custom install and only install the driver, ignoring all CUDA stuff.

Rare happenstance, browing Facebook market place I found a nearby greenhouse full of cacti and succulents. In one picture I saw Leuchtenbergia principis and as such I'm omw there now. This is a cacti iv been wanting, and it's a nice example, but clearly grown from seed. Obviously I don't want to just cut it in half and hope for the best, anyone know if it's possible to clone this cacti from one of its arms? Or is the only growth point the central point and my only options are wait for a 2nd head or cut the main head to encourage pupping?
