Elo guys, I am stuck in deciding on which CPU to buy, so I would appreciate any suggestions and advice what would be better upgrade in longer term.
I am currently on AM4 X470 with R5 2600x, on 1440p 165hz with RX 5700xt
I am very budget short so I will be staying on AM4, in 1440p and I plan to buy 7800xt after new AMD cards are released and prizes hopefully drop
My point is mostly power per money so R5 5600x was my go to.
In very close prize range is R7 5700x, two more cores same speeds. - But I am starting to think that maybe would be good to atleast go for 8 cores if I am doing this? Its like round 15 dollars difference
And than there is that boy R7 5700x3d which is currently twice as money as 5600x in my country - everyone says best cpu for AM4
So if I am on budget is it really worth to invest twice more in x3d CPU? Or spare that money for that 7800xt upgrade (since I play in 1440p - more gpu bound) and go with either of the cheaper ones cpus? Is that bigger smoothness of 1%lows of x3d worth money? I play mostly racing games on wheel and single player rpgs
And yes sorry I know there is so many talks about this, but my moron mind still did not decided so I am looking for some last tips to push me to solution finally... :) thx

I got my blood drawn today and it stung a little more than normal, felt silly about asking so I didn’t say anything. When I got out to the car I took off my bandage and there is a small scrape before the needle hole. Does this commonly happen or something shady?

2025.01.27 19:18 No-Lion-1231 Her last year
I lost my 13 year old female cat in the last 3 months and am struggling to move on from the guilt.
She had the most wonderful life and was spoiled beyond belief, the best food, medical care, supplements, toys, affection, you name it. After her brother died of straddle thrombus (a blood clot to the spine, taking his back leg function), I was filled with so much grief that I ended up adopting a further 3 cats in the 4 years following this. She was so good with all of them in her sassy old lady way but in her last year on earth and especially have our 3rd adopted cat we got 2 months before she passed, I definitely wasn’t as patient with her.
If anyone has had an older cat, they get very needy when they got older and it was endearing but sometimes felt like too much. She would come to sit on my lap but take about 20 minutes of making biscuits and clawing at my legs to the point I’d have to push her off ‘sit next to me, you’re hurting my legs’. What I wouldn’t give to have that back now she’s gone… when we adopted our last kitten he was quite overwhelming being our first Arabian mau and he began soiling in the house which was an added stress. We have a very open plan house which meant our newest addition would have to be shut upstairs when we were introducing them/trying to keep him from going outside. Sometimes she would get in the way and I would raise my voice to shoo her away and we didn’t let her sleep with us as much as she would keep us up all night. I generally was just much less patient with her than I had ever been in her life.
Cut to the 2 days before she passed, we decided to let our youngest outside to see if that helped with the soiling and I then had a profound dream that her brother came to visit me from the beyond. We cuddled and looked up and I saw my old girl and youngest cat together. I woke up in tears and didn’t quite understand why I felt so emotional. Those last 2 days everything with the soiling of the house with our youngest cat stopped once he started going outside, our old girl was very happy as she had access to the upstairs again and could sit with me whilst I worked. She had such a happy last 2 days and on the day she died we cuddled whilst I worked, I gave her big squeezing hugs whilst she purred and kissed her head. I was so pleased everything was going back to normal.
Later that day I hear a commotion downstairs, I run down and she’s having a seizure. I have the most tortuous 20 minute drive to the vet’s having to hear her seizuring, something I have never experienced in my life. It was utterly terrifying and the most traumatic experience of my life, she was born on my bed and felt like my literal child. Within a couple of hours it was established that she likely suffered with a blood clot like her brother, but in her head. They tried everything to stop the seizure but only sedating her worked. When they tried to bring her around she was brain dead. Years leading up to this I had paid a fortune to have heart scans and various tests to eliminate the potential of her suffering the same fate as her brother and evidently there was nothing to be done.
I was there with her until the end, telling her it was ok to move on and how much I loved her. But now I am left with the guilt of my impatience with her this last year that I can never change or take back. I try to focus on the fact that her last few days and the majority of them in that last year were great, but why am I only focusing on the days where I raised my voice at her rather than those happy memories… I had so many dreams and sightings of her brother when he passed, I think that dream I had 2 nights before she passed was her brother telling me ‘it’s ok, she’s coming with me but he will stay behind and it will all be ok’, our youngest has been a saving grace in this troubling times as he’s so similar to her.
The only one I have had of her was a dream when I heard her walking into the bed room and it immediately changed to me pushing her off me because her pointy paws were sticking into me. I can’t decide if I’m so grief stricken she can’t visit me or it’s a sign that I should have been better. I’ve had to restart therapy form the grief of losing her, my therapist told me that cats have the special power of only living in the present and don’t reflect on the past and it was clear she loved me and I loved her. Why can’t I focus on that then… he said we’re only human and everyone may raise their voice sometimes when overwhelmed and it’s normal. But she didn’t deserve that, she deserved all the goodness in the world and more, because she was perfect. I love and miss her so much that sometimes, I don’t know how I’ll go on without her.
How do you move past this guilt?

Machiene: Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset
Mask: Resmed N30i
Pressure: 7-16 (i increased it from 4 to 7)
Ramp: off
People, i have deviated septum but full face mask was not for me. I tried nasal pillows and my problem is whenever i use my machiene, i wake up every 45-60 minutes. When i wake up i dont feel suffocated, no dry mouth or other problems. I just wake up. In the report, as you can see, ı push myself to use it for long hours but i couldnt avoid waking up.
Can you help me to learn what is wrong with my thearpy? Ä°f more details needed, i will provide it, for now, i uploaded my report on that day. Other days would be similar. I used 4 hours and it was same.

Hello,
I've been unemployed for a long time (12 months) due to a mix of factors. I possibly have an opportunity with a second-shift role. Speaking logically, I know I probably need this job - but I know the shift time would ruin my life. I'm keeping it succinct, but there are a lot of things this shift would interfere with, including aiding my parents as my father navigates a progress disability.
I am tempted to pursue this job and, if offered, accept it -- while continuing to apply for other roles. My intention would be to move back to first shift as soon as I'd get an offer, even if it's mere weeks into the second shift job. I'd probably not list the second-shift role as current work on my resume for fear of being seen as job-skipping.
Is this an incredibly bad idea? Or is it normal for second shift to have quick turnaround? Should I just pass up the second shift opportunity?

Hello everyone, I am a 22 years old guy who has now been roleplaying for over five years. I consider myself a literate roleplayer, primarily writing multi-paragraph responses, exceeding Discord's character count limit (my replies are usually between 4k to 10k characters). I honestly like to simply spend time describing sensations, feelings, enviroments and everything and anything revolving around what we create. As much as I'm very devoted to have a certain literacy into the roleplay, quality>quantity for sure.
My main interests right now land on the following genres: Historical (any decade of the 20th century, Victorian age, Medieval age) modern-thriller, apocalyptic and SoL. While I’m not particularly looking for high sci-fi or high fantasy, I’m open to stories involving "advanced technology" or "magic" if those fit well into the narrative.
I would like to specify how I am extremely into creating stories with tense and catchy dynamics, aswell as into living plot's events with twists and different scenarios; I'd say...let's mutually surprise eachother.
Concerning characters, their personality and moral development is a huge priority for me. I love to get to interact with complex characters, wether it'd be on an emotionally or morally scale, and who present developed traits to a 360° view. I'm definitely looking for a partner who shares that same enthusiasm.
This said... I am a bit of a OOC chat fan. While I don’t expect constant (or daily) availability, I do enjoy discussing the roleplay, giving feedback, and commenting on what’s happening in the story when it feels relevant. I hope we can match each other’s energy in that regard.
When it comes to romance, my preference goes torwards playing male characters pursuing relationships with other male characters (I don't mind your IRL gender). I am also a huge fan of the "enemies-to-lovers" trope; I like having situations where characters with mental and ethical connotations are diametrically opposed, who have difficulty deciphering each other's morals... but who will eventually find themselves doing it, whether they like it or not.
For the same exact reason, I don't mind dark, dystopic themes and dealing with complex, tense and layered dynamics, whether involving characters themself or environments. I always find any of the sort to be interesting to interface within a story. NSFW content is also apprecciated (I do not fade to black), as long as plot remains primary.
