Looking for some help on how to record my playing. I’ve tinkered a bunch and am still having trouble.
I have a line-in to the Strata Core brain from my computer, and a line out to my headphones from the Strata Core brain. Everything sounds great coming into my headphones when I’m playing over a track. Now I’m just trying to figure out the best way to capture both the track and my playing over the track.
When I use the Record function on the Strata Core, I only can record either the Drum Mix or the Aux In backing track, not both. Is there a setting to record both at the same time that I am missing?
Also, how do I even get my .wav recordings off the Strata brain? If I can figure out how to do that, I figure I can just combine the Drum Mix with the backing tracking in a basic DAW like Audacity or Reaper.
In trying another method, I did download Reaper and was able to record the MIDI track, and I know you need to run a VST plugin to translate that to actual audio, so downloaded the free Steven Slate SSD 5.5, was able to add that as the FX plugin on the track, but got lost when trying to have the actual plugin interpret the MIDI to audio/ got lost in the actual SSD 5.5 plugin interface getting an error about the plugin not recognizing the instrument and not really knowing how to map the Alesis drums to it etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated in troubleshooting the methods above, or suggestions on easier methods I might be missing.

The most difficult situation ever. Trying to be supportive and understanding for my husband who just seems so upset with himself and has cried several times since dday two weeks ago. He feels like he doesn't even know who he is, how he let this addiction get so bad, whether he is actually a worthy husband and father etc. he has been very calm and understanding and communicated really well with me which has never ever been his strong suit, whilst I have been really emotional and insecure as well. But it's just the most difficult situation - he told me the other day he slipped up that morning. He said he was still really proud of himself because 1 occasion in 2 weeks was such a massive reduction, and he promised he didn't cross any of my boundaries which were essentially using social media/OF models because that was too personal and where he had escalated to. He said he regretted it straight away and didn't even enjoy it compared to sex with me. But I just couldn't stop crying. He said he understands why I'm upset but this is what makes him feel like he can't tell me these things. He's just terrified he will have a 'blip' and I will break down and leave him and take our son with me. But that if he isn't honest with me when these things happen then he's still lying to me which we both feel is worse.
I actually completely believe him and see his point but I also don't have the emotional strength all the time to just not be hurt by these things. We are both trying to work on ourselves and support eachother at such a difficult vulnerable time. I've never been in a situation like this! Hoping it gets easier with time.

Discussion thread that could also be a suggestion. Working together as a pack is great, but I think a cool option to have would be to start us all out on an empty map, no territory taken, and all the players go out and claim a chunk for themselves and set up their own packs, then go through the saga as each other's rivals.
Inspo for the thought comes somewhat from Age of Empires multiplayer, where you guys can technically leave one another alone, but sooner or later you'll have to destroy one another. I would love to play that in a call with my friends. Not sure if it's possible and if it is it'd probably be years away, but thoughts?

Hello I have a question I know someone that reported a couple people on the online ice tip form anonymously because of info they got from a third party. now the person they got info from is saying they didn't say what they said and the people they reported may not even be illegals. is their any way for her to recant her tips or ask to have them deleted?I told her to write another tip form with the people's names she reported and her to state that it might of been misinformation and to ask them to recant or delete her tips. she said she tried to call but they are not taking calls. she is a great friend and person but does some stupid things sometimes. TLDR: Epic games, please make changes to the combined reload / use button on consoles.
If you can be be bothered reading my full winge about this:
I know I'm not the first person to complain about this and I cannot believe nothing has been done about it.
I'm am so sick of trying to reload in the middle of a fight and swapping my gun for something on the ground, or worse, accidentally starting to revive my partner and dying before I realise what has happened and can break away from the revive and get to cover.
It seems like there's a number of easy solutions such as: - different buttons for 'reload' and 'use' - combining 'use' with a different button (e.g. 'toggle pickaxe' ) - adjust the hold delay for 'use' (my settings say "use (hold)", but it's either a lie or the hold delay is so short that it's essentially instant) - have single press for 'reload', double press for 'use' - 'reload' by default and only 'use' if your gun is reloaded/out of ammo (this would probably be the easiest thing) - implement multiple solutions and let players customise
(On a side note, is there a quick easy way to cancel a revive? Once I'm reviving I can't move away and it takes a few seconds of me trying to walk away before it actually stops the revive and moves normally)

Hi, just looking for some advice really and I appreciate my issue is not as bad as most on this forum.
Bit of background I have always been athletic served in the armed forces for 12 years and also in the fire service. I'm a 36 year old male and have had a bicuspid valve since birth which started to be monitored again as an adult when I turned around 25 after a GP picked a murmur up before a pre fight boxing medical.
Everything has been fine for many years, half marathons, pushing my body in the gym with weightlifting.
September last year everything changed was travelling home from work i had spent around 8 hours in a car over two days which may be relevant. In either case normal day a bit run down but we'll by all accounts. Went to the gym, had something to eat, had a shower, sat down and suddenly felt like I couldn't breathe no pain really as such but was obviously panicked, I passed out at this point and partner said I was in and out of consciousness and had seizure like activity.
I was rushed to ER, had CT scan which showed dilated aorta 4cm at this point. I had a routine scan of my valve in June the same year which showed no dilation in the aorta for some further info.
At this point, they also found pnumonia on my CT scan so was teated for this. I also had a brain scan because of seizure activity which can back clear.
Since September I have had various periods of ill health, CRP/ infection levels high randomly with fever given antibiotics and sent on my way from the hospital, recent episode few weeks back same high infection markers but this time my left leg was really sore and d dimer levels were high, scan on my leg showed a superficial blood clot and was commenced on thinners.
I have also had cardiac stress test and another ultra sound which showed reduced GLS and some other defects they are not sure on and have asked for a cardiac MRI to be done which is now next week but general consensus from cardiac team was that it can sometimes look like that in healthy active people of which I was not happy with as 6 months ago I could run a half marathon and now there is no way I could do that.
I had a CT last Friday which was primarly to check for PE due to breathing issues carrying on and also because of the clot in my leg no large PE was found however the aorta is now dilated 4.4cm so seems to have grown quite quickly and have now been put on BP tablets and the report asks if I am receiving specialist care due to my age.
I'm not sure on the reason for my post or what I'm looking to achieve suppose I just wanted to get it of my mind and see people's opinions and story's.
If I'm honest it's a frighting position to be in, I feel the dilation is increasing quickly my life has been turned upside down, my whole life was being active and in the gym and now I have been told to not do anything,my concerns where not heard initially and was told my heart is like that because I'm fit and active to now find myself on a range of tablets uncertain of the future, fearful of what's going to happen and noticing every little pain in my chest.
On one hand I'm grateful it has been identified as many probably don't know until it's too late but on the other now I do know I kind of wish I didn't.
I would be grateful for people's thoughts and opinions, I will post on some other forums as I'm just looking for some advice really is my position really that bad? How do you deal with the mental affects of it all?

For fun, I entered in how AI would sell the optomaps (retinal imaging) and this is what it came up with. People who work in sales; sell this to me as if I was the patient. Reasons why some patients decline are cost, they’re in good health, their kids don’t need it, or they did it last year, despite the doctor recommending it every year. What is a good upgrade from a 2022 Lexus ES 300h? I’d like to spend no more than $45,000 (not including trade in). The most important factor for me is a quiet, comfortable ride.
I test drove a 2022 Mercedes E-Class ($39,000) and the interior was a big upgrade from the Lexus. The ride and quiet were good too but I’m still wondering if there’s something I might like more.
