Just graduated with MSc, looking to get registered with HCPC. Heard alot of things about CSP recently which is the main body the uni’s throw at us.
Was wondering if anyone uses an alternative and why?
CSP seems to have the monopoly in the UK but apart from some still expensive CPD opportunities and maybe mentoring there doesn’t seem to be much there.

If you go to school/work or already have some friends then you have some ways, but if you have no one and dont work? Its literally impossible. You wont just talk to a random stranger and ask how they like the weather today, just asking for instagram feels weird, I dont even know if they wanna talk with me or know me so I'd feel like Im imposing myself. Tho even if you somehow start a conv with someone it feels weird to ask for their number or social media. I mean sometimes it happens that somebody could approach you and talk to you, but mostly only when you look nice and attractive. In my case I have some hormonal issues and it makes me look way younger + I look just weird and ugly so I have literally no chance

In the final stages of buying my dream home. The searches found that there was a bit at the back of the garden which was unregistered. In order to get past this, our lender requires a statement of truth from the current owners and an indemnity policy, which we’ve agreed to pay for. However the sellers solicitors have told the sellers not to sign the statement as it’s “not their problem”. We literally can’t move forward unless they sign it, and they won’t be able to sell the house. Help?!

I’m looking to re-print most parts for my MK3. I was wondering what would be recommended?
I’m between ASA and Polymax PC. I have good results with the PC and no warping but I was wondering if the MK3 parts may have fitment issues if I had even a little bit of shrinkage.
I’ll be using this printer in an enclosure if that makes any difference.

In the 4th picture you can see the doctor's description in German, which means something like: "The muscles are very inhomogeneous with partly cloudy deposits". So does that mean that the muscles are already partially converted into fibrous tissue? Thank you in advance.

I'm creating a pax storage wall in my apartment. I live in a Boston rental with sizeable baseboards that are in the way for a "built in look". In the past when using pax, I just installed over the baseboard which does push the unit out an inch or so, if I build a base would that help any? I see a lot of hacks removing the baseboard but I'm unable to do so. Can I use a base with the baseboard? They run about 8 inches up the wall. Thanks for your help!

In zwei Monaten neigt sich mein Studium dem Ende zu. Würde man mich mittlerweile fragen, weshalb das Studium als „anstrengend“ empfunden wird, dann wäre meine Antwort wohl kaum der komplexe Stoff oder die viele Lernerei. Das Studium hebt sich von anderen Studiengängen insbesondere durch die latente Sklaverei ab. Wer es nicht aushält das letzte Stück Sch**** zu sein, der wird seiner (medizinischen) Umwelt nicht standhalten können. Schlechte Lehre in den Praktika, viel Unbezahltes (was das Studium zu einem absoluten Sammelbecken privilegierter Menschen macht) und immer ganz unten in der Hierarchie. Das macht das Studium wohl am Ende tatsächlich ziemlich anspruchsvoll.

Whilst trying to track down my Rue Porter order placed in January, I found a lot of interesting info. I had never heard of Rue Porter and wish I had done some simple google searches about their lack of customer service. But once I did search I found this sub and that many people wanted info about their suppliers. I was able to find the parent company called Marner Holdings that registered the Rue Porter trademark. That company had imported 14 containers of apparel from two companies. The most recent was a company in Bangladesh called KNIT CONCEPT LTD. That coincides with complaints by multiple people that their most recent shipments of product were not made in Portugal but instead in Bangladesh. The 12 shipments prior were all shipped by a company in Portugal called ESTRELA DO CAMPO IND. TEXTIL. That is the manufacturer of their high quality garments. I also found it interesting that in January of this year, right before they went live with product on their website, they vacated their business location in California. They are not responding to any inquiries about non-shipment. I figured I would put this info out there to anyone that wanted to reach out to their supplier. The info was found via their bills of lading found online.

2025.01.27 19:08 CardiganPanda What do the effects of Contrave feel like?
Hi, I have been taking Contrave for 6 weeks, and at the full dose for 2 weeks. On one hand I feel like it’s not doing anything, and that I still feel hunger and I still think junk food sounds yummy. On the other hand I’ve had pretty good will power the past month or so sticking to a calorie deficit, and it might feel like I fill up a little faster.
Could these be signs that it’s doing something? I was just expecting to feel ambivalent about food, and credit my lack of over eating lately with the fact I’ve been cooking pretty healthy (while it’s tasty it’s not like “omg gorge on the whole thing” tasty). And if there was a juicy BBQ bacon cheese burger with onion straws, Cajun fries and ranch dipping sauce, would I feel different.
Could someone explain how they know they are feeling the effects? Thank you!
(Also I know it’s totally ok to have bacon cheese burgers as part of a larger picture healthy diet if you keep in mind portion size and frequency. Just using it as an example of a situation where I’d be really tempted to over eat)
